It was just ordernary nothing special about it., The floor hadn't been swept so a lot of dust and hairs on it

A well presented room, with a nice bathroom. The room was clean and had good facilities, set back from the main road so a great nights sleep. The host was welcoming and we had a nice evening.

The Lodge is a very lovely place - it is decorated so tastefully and with attention to detail so it feels very homey and inviting. Also, the room had everything needed, besides tea and coffee there was even additional kitchen equipment like plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and even a microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. The bathroom is small, but space is used very well. The shower is great. I would love to visit again!

There is no power outlet in the bathroom which is not too convenient. An additional tower holder would be useful, too, and would be easy to install. Other than that, everything was superb!

Nice room in a quiet and well located area; very nice thatched pub 2 mins walk and also 5 mins from the greenway. Paudrig is superb as a host, definitely coming back!

They need keys and doors with u Bees as we had someone trying to get into our room at 1am. No kitchen cupboard in kitchen area

The location was great, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Even though the location is beside a road, it was quiet and relaxing.

The facilities in the room were great; some fresh or long-life milk would be good, as everything else is there to make tea and coffee. Wi-Fi wasn't the strongest, which I needed for work.

Stanza comoda e arredata con gusto, contesto tranquillo, posizione comoda per spostamenti in zona. Host reattivo e disponibile.

Doccia di dimensioni generose ma senza una chiusura che consente di sfruttarla comodamente. La parte esterna del giardino, un po' disordinato anche nella zona meno in vista.

The room was quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I loved sitting in the garden in the evening. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Quite, quaint and warm. Paudrig was helpful and the stay was smooth. Would definitely go back if life permits.

Lodge molto tranquillo, pulito e con tutto il necessario presente in camera (a disposizione anche l’asciugacapelli anche se non indicato). Paudrig è stato molto gentile e pronto a rimediare ad un piccolo disguido :) Posizione ottimale per le spiagge a 10 minuti di auto e per visitare Cork e dintorni .

Ideal location as I could get to the village easily by bus

Although I had assumed there would be kitchen facilities, they supplied plenty of coffee, plates, glasses etc that I didn’t need one

The lodge is comfy, of great style and with an excellent bed and shower.

Very comfortable & spacious accommodation. Great facilities in room. Very good location with attractions close by. Easy distance from Cork.

Lovely room. Very rustic. Very clean. Great sleep. Good location but I resisted a visit to the neighbouring Thatch Pub as it was a work night.

Finding the entry door was just a little confusing but once inside everything was very cosy.

We hadden "the fox lodge', die op het gelijkvloers ligt. Zalig om langs het terras naar buiten te kunnen. De lodge was heel mooi ingericht met prachtig en degelijke meubilair.

Soms minder goed internetontvangst.

Beautiful room, with attention to every detail. Felt like home right away. Lots to do and see close by and a beautiful beach just a 10min drive away.

The noise of the traffic in the evening and from after 5 am in the morning there was a constant hum of traffic Small things like some milk available and fresh tea bags would have helped The room was clean but the standard of cleaning could be better.

It’s a great location close to a bar and restaurant and shop! Very convenient! Lovely set up inside the room! Really appreciated the mini bar for our waters

Las mesas estaban con adornos que ocupaban espacio necesario, en el baño no había banqueta o algo para dejar las cosas, hacía falta alguna silla. Por lo demás, bien.

Fabulous location, the host was lovely and very helpful. The room was very cosy, it felt like a home away from home and it was spotless clean.

I stayed during a heatwave so it could do with a fan for the summertime so as not to keep the window open for fear of disrupting other guests and to avoid bugs coming in :)

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation. The place was charming, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our host was incredibly friendly and gave us fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Thank you for a great experience!

Amazing location, easy check in process, modern, airy room and most comfy bed ever

Not that it falls into a didn't like category but more as tips that could improve a long stay: somewhere to put rubbish, a couple more hangers in the bathroom for wet towels to dry, a kettle that doesn't leak over the beautiful furniture

The location was so quiet and peaceful. It was a great place to refresh. The Host was so helpful. He shared great locations to visit and to eat.

Wished there was more of an outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Better signage would help people to find the place.

The location was perfect for the week end activiries in the vicinity. Hosts were welcoming, easy check-in/out process without any fuss and gave great food recommendations that I followed :-). Especially the one in Youhhal on the way back home was the winner and I am now recommending it also. Comfy bed and shower was good. Lovely small walks outside of the lodge when traveling with or without a pet for morning or evening strolls. Pet-friendly accomodation is a bonus.

What was missing was perhaps a tv screen and perhaps also a microwave & fridge that could have been handy enough..especially the mini fridge to have chilled drinks would have been handy as the weather was hot.

The town and the scenery. It's a pleasant part of the world.

It covered everything I needed for a weekend visiting family.

Dromdiah Lodge is a special place on the edge of Killeagh village, east of the city of Cork. It is the perfect spot for a peaceful, reflective stay. The aesthetic of the space is very appealing, communicating a simple, creative, and sensitive spirit. The room is clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, large desk for writing and artmaking, and good natural light. The Lodge is tucked in among trees and shrubs, surrounded by the sounds of birdsong and breeze. The host is friendly and welcoming, with a clear vision for the potential of the Lodge. Killeagh is a small village with a lot to enjoy, including Glenbower Wood, Greywood Arts, pubs, and shops. The location of Dromdiah Lodge is perfect for exploring the many interesting towns and sites in the region. Highly recommended!

Dromdiah Lodge was a hidden oasis. Very peaceful and calm. We were in robins rest and you couldn’t hear any traffic noise from the road. Pádraig was great at communicating,super helpful and friendly! Gave great recommendations. Such a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back when we are in cork again.

A little fridge would have been handy to put milk and a few bits in.

I was attending an event nearby at the Hidden Sauna, so the location was perfect The drive, along quiet rural roads in Co. Cork, was stunningly beautiful. The owner, Paudie, was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are newly done up, perfectly clean, spacious and the shower is lovely. I had my little doggie with me, who was able to go for a walk along a quiet, car-free lane and the place is so quiet that I slept peacefully all night.

The room was basic but large and bed was comfortable. For the money paid, it was a great value. Easy walk down to the Old Thatch pub where we had a very nice meal.

Only complaints were some sound certainly came through from the next door and while it ended up not being an issue, in some communication there was mention of a refrigerator to use but we did not find one.

The host is amazing, thank you so much for allowing me to arrive late and being there to greet me. The place is truly amazing, wish I could have stayed longer. Amazing place in an amazing part of the world. Thanks, I will be back. Don't hesitate, get this place booked.

Quiet

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in the Swallow Nest room. Beautiful walks close by. Pet friendly which was great for us with our dog. Paudie as a host was was great, recommended places to eat and places to visit. Overall we would stay again.

Renovation downstairs began early in the morning. I was awake already but this was a bit noisy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Dromidah Lodge. The hosts were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The lodge is set in a beautiful village, with the stunning Glenbower Wood just a short walk away — perfect for peaceful walks and nature lovers. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the area, with easy access to wonderful places like Cobh, Blarney Castle, Ardmore village, and Youghal. A relaxing, comfortable stay in a fantastic location — we would happily return and highly recommend it to others.

We had a lovely stay at Dromdiah lodge. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy. A perfect base if visiting/doing something in Killeagh

No breakfast facility open nearby at 8am and so I had to travel a bit further. Not the AirBnB s fault though! It is an excellent AirBnB and lives up and even exceeds my expectations. I'll be back.

Breakfast was the only issue I had but a combination of my early departure and the fading tourist season most likely contributed to that.

Great value for money.

Location was ideal, close to the local pub, which had great food. Local shops and takeaways nearby. Room was comfy and clean and great heating and lovely shower. The owner was gave us lots of info on where to go for walking our dogs.

For us the on draw back was eating. We were quite limited on places to eat with our specific diets. One fussy eater and vegan. But this place is great for a short break.

Taking in to account it was the month of December the room were cold when we arrived It would have be nice if the heating was put on prior to our arrival. The taxi service we used was so expensive for 4.5 mile we were charged 28Euro cant justify the price, total rip off
