Huy Trung Homestay

Casa carina a 15 minuti a piedi dal mercato di Bac Ha, in una zona residenziale e silenziosa. Ho soggiornato a Bac Ha solo per poter vedere il mercato domenicale la mattina presto. Il proprietario è una persona gentilissima, super simpatica e molto disponibile. Dal momento della prenotazione la comunicazione è stata super efficiente. Sono arrivata a Bac Ha all'1:00 di notte e lui è venuto a prendermi alla stazione. Il giorno dopo mi ha procurato il transfert per Sapa con un van privato( l'alternativa era prenotare un taxi da sola) facendomi risparmiare molti soldi! Grazie ancora per tutto!

One of the best homestays I've ever experienced. Mr Trung made me feel completely at home. Enjoyed a fantastic meal with his friends and family and You'll not get a better experience. My only regret is that i had to move on and not take up one of his tours of local ethnic tribes.

Accueil très sympathique et communication efficace. Le logement est fonctionnel et la piscine est très agréable. Le logement est calme et loin des routes bruyantes, le centre est accessible à pied en une vingtaine de minutes. Bac Ha mérite vraiment de s'arrêter une nuit pour profiter du marché et des festivités du samedi soir.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 4 nuits. La chambre familiale est très belle, très spacieuse et confortable. La petite piscine, peu profondément, est bien agréable pour se rafraîchir. Nous avons fait le tour en voiture d'une journée avec Huy Trung c'était très bien avec de beaux paysages, une baignade dans une cascade et la rencontre des habitants.

L’hôte est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle et très attentionné.

Accueil exceptionnel - la maison est très belle, très bien pensée, très propre et spacieuse. La piscine est vraiment agréable avec une très joli vue. On ne peut rêver mieux pour découvrir Bac Hâ et son marché traditionnel fabuleux. Huy nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour à Bac Ha. C'était parfait. Nous recommandons vivement.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time. Our room exceeded our expectations and the pool was our favorite place to hang out. We especially loved the home cooked meals and spending time with Mr Trung’s family and dogs.

L'hôte était très gentil et m'a beaucoup aidé. J'ai pû facilement accéder à Bac Ha via son aide. Le repas du soir était très bon. Il y a également la possibilité de louer un vélo ou un scooter. La chambre était superbe.

L'accueil du propriétaire qui est venu nous chercher à notre scooter à Bac Hà sans que l'on est rien demandé. Les deux repas du soir pris en compagnie de la famille d'accueil et une autre touriste japonaise très sympa. La location d'un scooter au Homestay pour visiter Bac Hà et ses environs.

Quelques moustiques, mais la chambre est équipée d'une moustiquaire. Il faut prendre quelques précautions.

Un homestay très familial. Tout le monde est très gentil même le gros chien qui ressemble à un nounours ! Il a aboyé à mon arrivée avant 5 heures du matin ce qui a réveillé ses maîtres qui m'ont tout de suite donné la chambre. Les petits déjeuners et les repas du soir sont excellents et copieux. J'avais une chambre spacieuse avec une belle hauteur sous plafond. A mon départ pour Sapa, le propriétaire m'a gentiment amené au centre de Bac Ha et s'est occupé de trouver le bon bus pour Lào Cai, tout en s'assurant de la correspondance pour Sapa. Le homestay est situé au calme à environ un quart d'heure du marché.

Que de beaux moments passés chez Huy Trung ! Nous avons bien échangé, il nous a donné d'excellents conseils de visites que nous avons d'ailleurs faite ensemble, une balade en barque avec également Hoan qui nous a ensuite reçus chez lui. Les familles de Huy et de Hoan ont été très accueillantes et quelle rencontre avec sa maman. Nous avons délicieusement bien mangé, nous sommes reposés dans cette jolie demeure et son adorable jardin ! Nous avons aussi apprécié notre promenade dans le quartier de Huy. Tout était super et une chouette sortie avec une jeune femme italienne avec la découverte d'une grotte. Exceptionnel !

La gentillesse de Trung, le propriétaire, Gucci et Pizza les chiens, la propreté, le calme, le petit-déjeuner, le confort. Nous avons fait une journée de tour en voiture pour découvrir la région. Trung nous a fait rencontrer des familles issues des minorités ethniques qu'il connaissait. Une super expérience hors des sentiers battus et authentique.

Grande chambre, literie confortable, au calme. Tout est nickel. Effectivement en haut d’une butte ce qui donne l’avantage d’avoir de l’air. Huy Trung est dispo et très réactif. Il nous a aidé pour transport privé et balade dans la montagne. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Centre facilement accessible à pied.

Superschönes Homestay in ruhiger Lage mit 360°-Blick-Dachterrasse.  Wir hatten die Familiensuite mit Balkon und waren wirklich begeistert: Alles war picobello sauber und sehr liebevoll gepflegt. Die Ausstattung war durchdacht und hochwertig – besonders der flüsterleise Kühlschrank und der Wasserkocher haben den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Der Pool war nach unseren Ausflügen perfekt zur Abkühlung, und es war super praktisch, dass wir direkt bei Trung ein Motorbike leihen konnten. Auch das Essen bleibt uns in bester Erinnerung: ein leckeres Frühstück und ein richtig tolles Abendessen mit Zutaten aus dem eigenen Garten und großer vegetarischer Auswahl, das wir gemeinsam mit der Familie genießen durften – sehr herzlich und authentisch. Trung war ein unglaublich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host, der sich um alles gekümmert hat – von Transfers bis zu Aktivitäten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Mr Trung est prévenant et soucieux de faire plaisir à ses hôtes. Le jardin de la maison est très agréable. Jolie vue sur les montagnes. La balade en bateau avec mr Trung sur la rivière chay était géniale. On s'est baigné près d'une cascade. Il nous a aussi fait découvrir le marché aux buffles et les courses de chevaux à Bac Ha.

La qualité de l'accueil, chaleureux, respectueux, bienveillant. L'hôte est de bon conseil, et propose de belles excursions. Qui plus est, les repas communautaires proposés le soir sont d'une grande qualité culinaire, authentiques, et permettent des échanges fructueux 🙂 Une précision à apporter : il faut avoir la santé pour atteindre l'hébergement, un peu isolé du centre, en hauteur, mais l'effort vaut la peine ! Préciser aussi qu'il vaut mieux être présent le dimanche, jour du "marché ethnique", expérience unique !

The family room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. My kids loved swimming in the plunge pool. We really enjoyed dining with Trung’s family. The food was delicious! I especially recommend taking a driving tour to Ban Lien with Trung. We had an unforgettable experience! This was our favorite accommodation in 5 weeks of travel in SE Asia.

We loved everything about the property.

Great accomodation (we had the garden bungalow). Clean, modern, comfortable, and very private as it is just detached from the main house in the garden, with a private sitting area right outside. Excellent, knowledgeable, gentle, friendly host with family (and dog plus often the dogs from the neighbour). Really nice breakfast and dinner with the family. And the true bonus: the trips that Huy Trung organises. We did the hike (easily done on your own after a drop-off), a day trip to the fantastically authentic Coc Ly tuesday market (only 1 more tour group from France) with subsequent boat trip on the nearby 'river' (like often in east-Asia: long lakes between dams) and the Bac Ha loop that is very different from the one in Lonely Planet (much further east) that brings you to beautiful nature and many small tribal villages with a lot of photo opportunities if you are interested in tribal dresses, and which included a lunch at a local family. Not a single tourist seen during the day - in fact, almost no cars seen for hours. In all, strongly recommended.

ハノイの喧騒に疲れて静かなところに行きたいと思いここを選んで大正解でした。バスで早朝に着いたにも関わらず優しく出迎えてくれました。ホストはとても穏やかで優しく、ノープランの私に色々提案をしてくれました。夕食を皆と食べることをお勧めします！

Beautiful homestay in a peaceful neighborhood, walking distance from market/Bac Ha center. We had the Lovely Room, which is huge, with 2 different places to sit outside (there is also some communal outdoor sitting area for everyone). Huy Trung and his family are lovely. Food is great and we enjoyed eating with the other guests. We and a family from Spain took a hike with Huy Trung on Saturday, and Sunday after the market we did the driving tour with visit/lunch in Ban Lien (beautiful and remote settlement where a few related Tay families have set up homestays).

Ottima esperienza in famiglia in una struttura immersa nel verde poco distante dal centro. Dotata di belle camere pulite e ben arredate, abbiamo soggiornato due notti e ci sarebbe piaciuto stare di più. Colazione e cena ottime e condivise con altri ospiti che ha reso il tutto più familiare.Mr. Trung è stato un host gentilissimo e disponibile x ogni nostra esigenza, ha organizzato x noi un giro nei dintorni alla scoperta dei villaggi e dei mercati che si è rivelato molto interessante, a lui va il nostro particolare ringraziamento. Consigliamo vivamente un soggiorno presso questa struttura.

Chambres très propres … Notre hôte s’est plié en quatre pour nous satisfaire … il nous a vraiment facilité la vie

Chambres ( chalets ) peu insonorisées … Réveil matin tous les jours à 6h par une radio locale très très bruyante … mais avec des bouchons d’oreilles tout va bien

belle chambre mais attention aux suppléments Nous avons logé dans une grande chambre parfaitement conforme à la description. L'hôtel est bien situé, à environ 1,5 km du marché. Quelques bémols cependant : le petit-déjeuner sommaire est facturé en supplément. Côté communication, le propriétaire était absent ; bien qu'il soit réactif via WhatsApp, le dialogue sur place avec son épouse était limité Enfin, soyez vigilants sur les tarifs des services : le dépôt en voiture pour une balade est facturé 10 USD. Pour les excursions dans les villages de minorités, les prix sont déjà élevés, mais l'hôtel , qui pourtant organise le tour, ajoute en plus des frais d'organisation . Une bonne adresse, mais attendez-vous à ce que tout soit en supplément. Pensez à bien vérifier ces coûts avant de réserver.

La famille Huy est adorable. La grand-maman est un cordon bleu et Monsieur Huy est d’une gentillesse qui fait chaud au cœur. Notre chambre, Lovely, était somptueuse! La vue était magnifique.

En l’absence les premiers jours de Mr Trung, l’accueil de sa maman. Elle s’est montrée très attentionnée. De plus, lors de notre séjour c’est elle qui a fait la cuisine et elle nous a régalés. La dernière soirée avec Mr Trung. N’hésitez pas à lui demander de vous parler de ses projets de design architectural, d’alternative au plastic pour les paniers ...

J'ai passé un très bon séjour (que j'ai prolongé de deux jours) chez Trung et sa famille : la Happy room est spacieuse et confortable (la moustiquaire est un plus), la vue du rooftop incroyable et les dîners en famille très agréables. Trung parle très bien anglais : il organise toutes sortes d' excursions et est une mine de renseignements. Je le remercie vivement de m'avoir informée du marché au bestiaux du samedi (distinct du célèbre marché du dimanche), d'avoir réservé pour moi une place dans un van très confortable à destination de Sa Pa et d'avoir eu la gentillesse de m' y conduire le jour du départ.

La maison est située sur une colline ( en pente raide sur la fin), à l'écart du centre ville. Si vous avez des bagages, et/ou si, comme moi n'êtes pas en grande forme physique pensez à contacter Trung pour qu il puisse vous aider.

Tutto, l'ospitalità, la disponibilità...l'host è una persona di enorme gentilezza, ha esaudito ogni nostro desidero cop sorriso. Non potevamo desiderare di meglio.

I didn’t have breakfast but did have a home cooked dinner that was delicious. My bungalow was sweet and cozy with comfortable bed, fan and great A/C. Host Huy Trung was kind and helpful, arranged transfer to Lao Cai, took us to night market, and gave me a your of surrounding villages for a small fee. I highly recommend this homestay.

L’accueil, la disponibilité de M.Huy Trung , sa gentillesse , nous avons pris de bon petits déjeuners et dîner avec leur famille. Avec M.Huy , Nous avons pu découvrir la région, le marché, les ethnies et les paysages magnifiques grâce à son 4x4 et à sa conduite exemplaire ( beaucoup de routes recouvertes par la boue) Je recommande ce lieu où l’on se sent comme à la maison.

Tout. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce Homestay avec la famille et avec les autres hôtes. Tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez comme à la maison. La maison a été conçue pour que les personnes se croisent et echangent en particulier autour de la table avec des plats vietnamiens savoureux mais aussi qu'ils aient des espaces confortables pour s'isoler. Merci a Huy, sa femme, sa maman, ses filles, ses nièces pour leur accueil si chaleureux. Nous espérons vous rendre visite a nouveau pour faire les visites des villages que nous n'avons pas pu faire pour raisons médicales. Surtout ne changez rien c'était juste parfait pour nos derniers jours au Vietnam.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez M Trung, qui est, avec sa famille, un hôte très accueillant. L’établissement est Très bien situé à proximité du centre et du marché , tout en étant au calme. Passionné, M Trung nous a fait découvrir la campagne environnante. Je recommande vivement.

The accommodation was great, and the biggest advantage is undoubtedly the host and his family, who are always willing and happy to help. They allowed us an early check-in for free and also gave us a room upgrade at no extra charge. The accommodation itself has a homely atmosphere; it’s comfortable, well-equipped, and offers a homemade breakfast based on your choice. There is also great pool on the rooftop :) and in addition you can pet the local dog named Gucci. Overall, I definitely highly recommend it.

Mr Trung, has a homestay, which means his family live on site. They are very hospitable, and share their communal dining area with guests. Mr Trung himself, is an exceptional man with a deep knowledge and understanding of the region and its colourful peoples. He is also widely known for his kindness towards the remote communities in the Bac Ha region. This is all wonderfully evident in his small local tours, on which he acts as guide driver. The breakfasts consists of pancake alongside good fresh coffee. The dinners are delicious also, should you elect to dine in.

Beautiful homey place with a lot of privacy and colorful garden. The family is so hospitable that you feel being at home and at the same time totally yourself. Our host Trung is a short spoken, intelligent, sensitive and a wide vision man who knows and embodies the spirit of Bác Hà. We learned so much for him. We had a fantastic hike with him to one of the most beautiful hills of Vietnam.

We had a fantastic stay as a family. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. We ate two meals with the host family, which were delicious and great value. The places a little bit out of town, but still within walking distance and in a very safe, quiet neighborhood. Overall a lovely place to stay in highly recommended.
