La difficulté de trouver un taxi lié à l'emplacement de l'hôtel

Le cadre, au cœur de la jungle. Les repas proposés le soir. La gentillesse du prolétaire, car au moment de partir le taxi ne s’est pas présenté et notre hôte a été réactif et nous a généreusement conduit à notre point de rendez-vous.

In prachtige natuur gelegen, net buiten centrum. Heel vriendelijke mensen. Lekker eten. Kinderen gingen fietsen in het rustige straatje met de dochter van het hotel. Prachtige bungalow.

Problemen met zwembadwater door hevige regenval, maar werd zo snel mogelijk opgelost. Kinderen amuseerden zich uiteindelijk met het vullen van het zwembad. Zo werd deze aanvankelijke ontgoocheling voor de kinderen ook weer leuk.

J'y serais rester une semaine, pour me reposer, mais la nuit ont entendaient toute sorte d'animaux dehors, ont ce serait crû dans la forêt tropicale , c'était vraiment impressionnant, vraiment 10 étoiles

Accueil gentil et sympathique. Les bungalows sont grands et la literie est confortable

Le nom du lieu laisse penser que c’est un hôtel . C’est un homestay en fait et donc trop cher pour le lieu et la prestation (surtout que le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus et qu’il est facturé assez cher) La propreté laisse à désirer particulièrement dans les salles de bains. Il manquait de quoi se laver les mains.

El alojamiento es realmente precioso en un entorno maravilloso. El bungalow que me ofrecieron excelente. Y el personal, sobre todo Cuong, pendiente en todo momento, llamando a los taxis. Fue encantador. Como encantadora la niña que fue a mi habitación a regalarme unos dulces hechos por ella.

Le cadre, la sympatie du personnel : famille super gentil. Attention un peu éloigné donc avoir un moyen de locomotion.

Entrée en travaux mais pas trop dérangeant, ils avaient mis des pierres pour éviter de marcher dans la boue.

Une équipe familiale et l’aide précieuse de Cuong qui nous a beaucoup aidés pour nos déplacements. Un joli cadre, des lits confortables. Un peu loin du centre à pied (plus de 30 min) mais facile en taxi. Flexibilité pour notre arrivée et notre départ. Possibilité de déjeuner et dîner sur place , très bon.

Une vraie bulle temporelle de zénitude à 40' à pieds de Bac Ha et 10' en Scooter, en marchant d'un pas tranquille. Tout le monde est charmant et se mettra en 4 pour vous faire plaisir ! En revanche, n'espérez pas échapper au chant des coqs aux alentours à 5H30, mais vous pouvez toujours vous rendormir après leur sérénade ! Bref, un séjour apprécié par toute la famille !

Accueil très chaleureux Gîte familial très reposant , très bien équipé, on s’y sent très bien!

Loved the peace and quiet with staying out of town. On the Saturday night they had a dance performance which was enjoyable and we could join in the line dancing afterward. Dinner was delicious and the staff really attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Loved being able to have a swim after a day at the markets. Bed was comfortable.

Didn't have a fridge in the room

Lovely room with a place to sit outside. Beautiful location in countryside but close enough to walk into Bac Ha. Very helpful staff/owners.

We enjoyed the location - being out in the countryside but able to walk into town. The food was freshly cooked, locally grown and really delicious. Very friendly family.

The family/staff was super friendly and helpful. We were not part of an organized tour and they organized all our transportation needs (a) from Bac Ha town to their homestay (b) to/from their homestay to Sunday Market and (c) from their homestay to Lao Cai train station. We were a little bit lost without GRAB and not knowing the language, having the transportation arranged was so helpful. Note: this was not a heated homestay

Nice people and place

Quiet location walking distance from Bac Ha village. From the lodge retreat we did a 13 km hike through the hills and though a Hmong village. For breakfast and dinner both western and Vietnamese dishes were offered. The quality of the food was good. The host and staff were always happy to help and to give advice. We loved the herbal bath. Massages are also offered. The beds were soft (not too soft), which was very pleasant.

we have had a bungalow, it was really comfortable! the owner and his wife were very helping. They helped us to find out the best way to our next destination. The resort is a little bit out of town, but you can walk or join another car to town or they arrange a taxi. The food was delicious! We were invited to join the dinner with the family! A really great experience! We have had a fantastic stay and we recommend this place!

If I had to choose a place to spend the rest of my days, this place is a contender. It is a slice of paradise nestled in the quiet and beautiful mountains. Chinh and his family are the type of family we could all strive to be more like. They're so kind, friendly, and FUN. Getting to know them is a highlight of my time in Vietnam.

I didn't like that I had to leave when my stay was over.

A unique small boutique resort in the Vietnamese countryside. Loved the private bungalows overlooking the orchard to the distant mountains. The family were wonderful hosts! The cooking class was great fun and delicious! The foot massage by the pool was fabulous! A great experience.

If you want an authentic experience in a boutique luxury bungalow overlooking orchards and orange trees, this is a fantastic choice. Quaint and cute, run by a beautiful family, you will not regret making this booking. What an amazing experience. Book the cooking class and a foot massage. Winner winner!

We loved staying here! The family was so welcoming and helpful, and the homestay is very clean and nice with a good atmosphere. We are gluten intolerant, but we still had so much good food here! We are impressed! The last night the family invited us for family dinner, which was really fun. We recommend booking a guide and go for a hike in the villages and rice fields above the homestay. The views there are beautiful.

Photo of the facilities are true to beauty of the place. Good location in the valley with amazing view from our room. The owner made is feel comfortable and gave us tea when we arrived. The room was clean. Our best homestay so far in Vietnam.

Really minor things. After a hot day we would have like to go for a swim in the pool, but it wasn't filled up. And second thing is the water heater is quite small and was not turned ON prior to our arrival. So we had to wait more than an hour to have hot water. Lastly, the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned

The location was slightly outside town with a beautiful outlook from the cabin. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was beautifully decorated

We liked everything!

One of the best place to stay in Vietnam. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. They even organized a wonderful Christmas dinner for us together with other tourists. The bungalows are very big, well equipped and very clean with comfortable beds. We can recommend this place to everybody.

We had such a wonderful stay for 3 nights! The staff was very very helpful, and the place was so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and they helped us with everything from transport to and from Bac Ha, and to local trips around the area and for the market in Coc Ly. So happy we found this place.

Their English could have been better, but they were very skillful with translate apps, so understanding each other went well.

A lovely place a bit out of town with direct access to great trekking pads. If you're looking for partying or bars, this is not your place. But if you'd like easy access to Bac Ha with a 10-minute $4 taxi ride, and peaceful and lovely countryside around you, this is a perfect place. It's relatively new and the owners really go out of their way to try to make you comfortable and take care of your needs. The pool, which looks beautiful, wasn't operational yet but otherwise everything is. We were able to track ourselves following paths on Google maps, but you can also find a guide in town from more expensive adventures. Strongly recommend that you visit the Saturday Buffalo market and the Sunday general market in Bac Ha.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was beautiful and clean, the food was excellent and the staff was so nice. We would come here again.

Firstly, we had a great host to look after us. Luc Quoc anh cuong was the nicest host that we had all holiday. And he even is a good cook. And we left behind some earphones. He was so kind to send them all the way to us in sapa (including updates via text) - thank you!! The accommodation was great. Clean. Comfiest bed ever. Pool was nice.

The deck hairs might have been better with cushions. I would have preferred the total price to be displayed - not the price excluding taxes. Most properties include the taxes am to make it clear.

This retreat is very special, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and the staff could not do more to make us feel welcome. We ate with the family but they also have a menu if you prefer, the owner also took us to see a local distillery. The pool is crystal clear. We extended our stay because it was soo good.

You can’t fault it in any way

This place is so quiet to rest, relax, friendly staff, management, dedicated guide to tourist attractions in Bac Ha, around the property there is a walking path to the Hmong village, beautiful terraced fields, back to Bac Ha Lodge Retreat to relax, swim in the pool, eat outside is great. I will come back. Thank you very much!

The staff is very nice. The place is very quiet. The food is very good.

Très bon lodge avec de belles chambres au milieu des montagnes. Très bon restaurant de spécialités locales avec une famille adorable qui est très accueillante. Je félicite le service de Luc Quoc anh Cuong qui s’occupe très bien de ses clients et avec le sourire. Je recommande cet hôtel à tous les amoureux de la nature . À bientôt j’espère

The location was fantastic - tucked away in a valley away from everything else touristy. Just local people living their lives! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I LOVED the huge window view down the valley from my bed.

The retreat is clearly still in the process of setting up, and is likely to be stunning once everything is finished. However in the meantime things are a little rough around the edges, with building work going on in the grounds.
