Villa 58 Unawatuna

Eine tolle Unterkunft!!! Unheimliche sauber und in einem auch technischen top Zustand. Den kleinen Pool haben wir abends vor dem Schlafengehen sooo gerne genutzt. Es gäb auch eine eigene kleine Outdoorküche auf der Terrasse, die wir aber nie gebraucht haben. Der Host ist sehr lieb zurückhaltend, ist aber immer sofort zur Stelle. Z.B bei Stromausfall hat er ein Licht auf die Terrasse gestellt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Unabhängig von der Unterkunft ist der Ort jetzt in der Nebensaison relativ ausgestorben. Auch viele Restaurants haben zu. Sollte man wissen....

Пожалуй самое лучшее жилье за это путешествие. Хозяин очень приветливый, во всем нам помогал. Номер отличный. Все в номере для оптимального проживания есть. Отличная зона кухни. Вот прям 10 из 10. Местоположение отличное -чуть в стороне от суматохи. Шум не мешает. До автобусной остановки идти пару минут. Есть небольшой бассейн где всегда можно освежиться.

Шикарная вилла, приём как дома. Всё очень комфортно, чисто, уютно. Обязательно ещё вернёмся.

The property is lovely and in a perfect location. Quiet yet still close to the main stretch and beach areas. What makes it extremely special is Buddika. He is an incredible host and so friendly and helpful with anything you could need during your stay. If we are ever back in Unawatuna we would love to return here! Do not hesitate if you are considering booking here. You won’t regret it and will have no complaints 😊

Diese Unterkunft und vor allem die Besitzer sind unfassbar toll! Sehr, sehr sauber! Perfekt ausgestattet (sowohl Zimmer und Küche), hinzu kommt eine tolle Lage (in wenigen Metern mitten im Geschehen, aber dennoch vollkommen ruhig), sehr bequemes Bett, wunderbar funktionierende Klimaanlage und kleiner, aber sehr gepflegter Pool. Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Absolut nichts! Es konnte nicht perfekter sein!

Отличное месторасположение - чуть в стороне от основной улицы, где вся инфраструктура, но при этом тихо и спокойно. Жили в номере с кухней, вся необходимая посуда есть. Классное решение кухни на балконе-там у нас проходили все вечера. Очень чисто. Каждые три дня уборка. Хозяин очень классный, всегда поможет, подскажет и в целом очень приятный человек. Семья у него тоже очень душевная, нас угощали и ананасом, и завтраками)) В общем все было по-домашнему уютно. На острове не первый раз, есть с чем сравнить-это было очень удачное размещение.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Очень гостеприимный вежливый хозяин, есть все необходимое для комфортного бюджетного отдыха, в номере чисто . Местоположение хорошее с одной стороны в центре рядом все есть , магазины ,рестораны с другой стороны очень тихо , так как вилла находится в глубине от дороги, до моря не далеко.

Вилла расположена в тихом переулочке, близко к джунглям. Бегают обезьяны, по вечерам летают крыланы. Номер чистый, мы располагались на первом этаже, при номере есть небольшая терраска с кухне. На ней мы проводили большинство времени. Уборка по запросу раз в три дня, постельное меняли, кровать большая и широкая. Хозяин Буддика и его мама были очень милы. По нашей просьбе организовал трансфер в обе стороны. Его мама угощала нас разными блюдами. Буддика всегда помогал если нужно было куда-то съездить. Вообщем, жили как у друзей на даче.

Всё было хорошо.

That is friendly and nice place to stay in Unawatuna. Everything is close (meaning main street, beach, shops, restaurants/food, bus stop etc) at the same time hotel is hidden from street noises so you're living in quiet place and can hear peacocks and see monkeys early morning. Room was very clean and equipped with everything you might need, kitchen is outside the room (we stayed in apartments, second floor) and also has everything for comfort cooking. Pictures when booking are completely real and fits, wifi works very fast and stable.

I had no negative moments to report.

- I didn't realise the kitchen wasn't part of the room until I got there, it's actually a shared space - the bathroom doesn't smell great and there's no divider for the shower

Lovely host, very clean and comfortable room.

Everything was great from earlier Check-in to our check out. From Villa you can go by foot to mání Unawatuna beach. Shops and restaurants are on every Corner arround. Beds were very comfortable. And owner is very kind - Help us with everything what we need (with renting tuk tuk, oné evening take me to the shop).

Buddika is a perfect flat owner , he took us to fish market with his own tuk tuk and made great barbecue, villa has fully equipped kitchen so when you are bored with local food you prepare your own dishes

Fridge is not working properly, even deep freezer could not make any ice.

This is one of the best stops on the entire trip. The apartments are located away from the main road which avoids noise. The balcony has a view of the cliffs. The apartment itself is very clean and nice. There is a kitchen with everything you need for cooking.

It was central to the beach, shops and restaurants

I liked everything very much! An ideal apartment for living, the room has everything you need, the air conditioner and fan work perfectly, the beds are magnificent, the plumbing is all in the best order. One room had a balcony where you can sit in the evening admiring the jungle. The kitchen is beyond praise, there is everything you need down to the smallest detail for cooking. We baked pancakes, and various scrambled eggs, and made fish and seafood, a large refrigerator with a freezer, the room has a small one for soft drinks, a microwave, excellent internet! But most importantly, the very hospitable owner of Buddika, it’s as if you came to visit him, he is unobtrusive, but will always give you advice, speaks excellent English, took us to the fish and fruit market in Galle, this is not the responsibility of the host, do not abuse it! We will definitely come back again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Excellent apartment, fully matching the photos. Very clean, the owner cleaned every three days with the replacement of towels and bedding. As a compliment, the owner treated them to bananas. At our request, he took us to the fish market and the supermarket. He also took us to the beach with turtles in Dalawella. The kitchen has a full set of dishes and utensils. We rested like close relatives.

We had a great time in this beautiful villa. Good location, very clean, secure, spacious. Budikka, the owner, will help you with information, and if you need a ride near by tuk tuk , for example, to the fish market, Galle... Thanks a lot 🙏

Very nice and clean rooms, quiet in the night. Our host was very friendly and brought us to the beach.

The location is super - you seem to be in the very tourist center, but at the same time you are far enough away from the main street - so no one will disturb your sleep. There are almost no insects. Behind the house there is a rock with a jungle, monkeys and birds. There is absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. Household appliances, outdoor grill, dishes, towels, adapters, even sugar, cream, tea and repellent. In general, you don’t need to take care of anything extra. Excellent satellite Internet, which does not turn off if the power suddenly goes out. If you work and use the Internet, then no problems or interruptions will arise. The owner of the house is always ready to help. Can take you to a store or to another beach (there is a tuk-tuk). Entrance to the house is always under the supervision of either the owner himself or his family - absolutely safe! Access to the beach is a 5-minute walk through the Lucky Tuna / Tortuga cafe. Nearby are currency exchangers (the rate is even better than at the airport), a ruble exchanger (Tinkoff/Sber), a cryptocurrency exchanger, a grocery store, fruit, ice cream.

Excellent gesthouse with a convenient location in a quiet lane, bike rentals and massages nearby. Beach 10 minutes away, main street has all the coffee shops. Special thanks to the wonderful host who was very attentive and helpful in everything and even took us to the gala on his tuk-tuk for free. The room has everything and more, air conditioning, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, always clean drinking water. In the common areas of the gesthouse spacious kitchen, refrigerator, dryers for laundry and washing machine with powder. I advise everyone who wants to spend their vacation pleasantly.

Neat and clean room with all amenities. The owner is really caring and an amazing person. He will help you with every small thing and make sure your stay is amazing. For instance: We faced some network issue with TV. He immediately sorted it and subscribed to the cricket channel for us to watch match. The small things show lot of intent and goes a long way. A lovely guesthouse with a very gracious host who accommodated me very well. The room was big with great ac, comfy bed, great shower and everything I needed. Good location and close to shops and the beach. Easy day trip to Galle. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the property for more than a month and with a hand on my heart I can tell you that this is the best apartment for price and quality. The room is new, very cosy and clean with everything you need in your everyday life. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the staff that you need to cook. There is even toaster for sandwiches, rice-cooker and washing machine. There is air-conditioner and fan. There were no problems with the hot water. The location is very nice too – no more than 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches in Sri-Lanka. It was very quiet and calm in the neibourhood. The owner of the property Buddika is very friendly and responsive who is always ready to help you with any question. On the last day Buddika and his family made a delicious dinner for us. I highly recommend this apartment! This is a real gem in Unawatuna!

Thanks for the owner for the hospitality and politness, he is nice and honest man. The room in truth is very clean and you have all facilities you need as discribed. You won't de dissapointed to spend time here. The beach is in about 10-15min walking. Price is high, especially for low-season (we stayed in september) and for the location not so close to the beach, but if clean and comfortable room is more important for you - it is ok.

- Windows in the room are not opening, and if the a-c is not working (powercuts), there is not enough air in the room. You can open the door and also there is a tiny window in the bathroom, but it is not enough to make room windy and breath well. - The room is on the 2nd floor, and on the 1st floor lives the family, there is one entrance. When we came back after 10pm we feel ourselves uncomfortable because of disturbing family from rest and sleep: owner came to open the door for us every time.
