Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Very comfortable and well located. The living area was large enough for four of us and the upstairs bedroom has a beautiful view of the lake. Rosa is delightful and very responsive to the requests we made.
Not a major issue, but the kitchen could be better equipped for those who wish to cook. Rosa was very responsive when we requested two things but a general review and adding several key pieces would be great.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Uno de los puntos importantes de este alojamiento es la recepcion, la amabilidad y el conocimiento que tiene Rosa sobre su tarea de acompañar a los que llegamos al depto, haciendonos sentir como en casa. Por lo demás, el departamento está en perfectas condiciones. El mobiliario es muy bueno y las camas son cómodas. Las cortinas blackout en todas las ventanas es un "+"; sobre todo en verano, cuando amanece muy temprano.
Nada que no haya sido de nuestro agrado, sinceramente. Quizás un punto a mejorar pueda ser tener mas utensillos de cocina disponibles para los huespedes. No faltaron los fundamentales, pero podría mejorar. Totalmente constructivo este comentario.

Apesar de não ficar no centro comercial de El Calafate, a casa está bem próxima de supermercado e de restaurantes. Se o hóspede for fazer algum passeio turístico, é só informar o nome de algum hotel próximo, que a agência organiza o roteiro para pegá-lo mais próximo da casa, evitando ter que andar até o escritório da agência.

Only one bathroom so you have to share it with everyone. The hair dryer is a bit weak. We parked our car in the street as advised but someone broke the side mirror of our rental car. Do not park your car on the street, it gave me a lot of headache.

Instrucciones más claras para el acceso a la TV. El tercer dormitorio está en un local abierto que da a la escalera. Le quita privacidad, pero se ganan dos camas, lo que viene muy bien. Por lo demás, realmente muy bien.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025El alojamiento es muy cómodo, todo impecable, tuvimos un problema con el baño, y fue atendido inmediatamente, la única observación que tengo es la escalera que da a las habitaciones superiores, la misma no tiene baranda hacia el lado abierto que da al piso inferior, puede representar un riesgo si van con niños y personas mayores.

Que sólo tuviese un baño. Hay una habitación que está en el descansillo de la planta superior por lo que no tiene puerta. Sólo una habitación con armario.

En las 2 habitaciones que se encuentran en el piso superior, no hay ningun elemento para dejar la ropa (armario, colgador), ni siquiera para apoyar el equipaje. El tostador no funcionaba y la dueña enseguida lo cambió por uno nuevo, en el cuarto de baño no salia practicamente agua fria, lo intentaron solucionar pero no se pudo-

Reviewed Feb 21, 2025The owner is very friendly and gave us plenty of good recommendations for El Calafate. The check-in was very easy, the apartment was clean, and very well furnished. It is located close to the downtown of El Calafate and not too far from a grocery store. Would definitely recommend staying here!
The only issue we had is the early check-out at 10am.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2024Rosa’s apartment is a great size for 4-6 people. We had two couples in our group. there is a king bedroom downstairs. There is another King upstairs along with two twins. In addition there is a kitchen, dining room, and living room along with a bathroom and two balconies.
There was no washer/dryer but we weren’t looking to do laundry anyway.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2024Lovely and quiet apartment. Stayed warm in all rooms. There was a backyard that is fenced in and safe for my children to play in. The apartment was very clean and well equipped for cooking our own meals. It was convenient to have the washing machine in the apartment.
One of the bedrooms upstairs is not private because you have to walk through it to get to the other room. It was ok for us because our four children slept upstairs. The location required a short walk to get to the center of town. I’m glad we had a rental car.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2023Rosa was a great host - very friendly and was flexible with my arrival time. The apartment was very clean and modern, and felt comfortable. Fresh towels were provided and there is a washer in the unit with laundry detergent (note: there is no dryer).
The two of us were provided only one roll of toilet paper for a stay lasting 5 days. City center is about a 15 minute walk away, so I needed to rely on taxis for travel home once it got dark / cold outside.

It was nice to have the room to spread out a bit after sharing hotel rooms for several days. We also enjoyed having the kitchen so we could fix our own christmas dinner and breakfasts. Rosa met us and showed us the apartment and gave us tips for where to eat out. She was very helpful and easy to reach. The apartment and building were very clean.

She helped us a lot, answered all our questions, let us leave our luggage later on the day of our check out. There is good breakfast place nearby (Don Luis bakery) where we ate every morning and took sandwiches for lunch.
