Reviewed Sep 18, 2026erg goede locatie, vlakbij de kathedraal en de Grote Markt en Groenplaats. Heel rustig straatje. Appartement was verder van alle gemakken voorzien en erg schoon.
Het sleutelkastje weigerde eerst maar kon met wat wrikken met een schroevendraaier toch worden geopend. De host was op afstand erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam maar kon niet echt herlpen. En op de tv waren geen zenders beschikbaar, alleen films

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Das Appartement liegt superzentral in der Altstadt Antwerpens in einer kleinen Straße. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es im Appartement sehr ruhig. Die Küche ist mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet und sehr modern.
Ich hätte mir ein Trittchen für das Bett gewünscht, für nicht so hoch gewachsene Menschen, wie mich war es etwas unbequem einzusteigen. Ebenso hängen die Spiegel recht hoch. Ich habe das aber schon angesprochen und der der sehr nette Vermieter versprach, Abhilfe zu schaffen. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über kein Fenster.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The location of this apartment was excellent - being located in the southern section of the old historic part of Antwerp. There were a number of stores close by to get groceries for meals and it was very centrally located for all historic sites to visit. It made for a very good visit.
The apartment was rather small - but I was expecting that. Also, on the plus side the upper bedroom would be a great location for early teen kids to sleep in - on the negative side, in the summer months, I am sure that it gets rather warm up there since the apartment does not have air conditioning. The only real item that could be improved is the guide book in the apartment. It could be expanded and updated to make it more relevant.

Nous n'avons pas apprécié le lit trop mou, deux matelas mousse sur une planche n'est pas une solution confortable.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Einlass sollte um 16:00 Uhr sein. Von 1545 bis 18Uhr stand ich vor verschlossener Tür bei 30°. Habe neun mal angerufen, Teilnehmer not available. In den 2 Stunden keinerlei Nachricht - ein Fake??? Betrug.??!! Buche schließlich ein anderes Apartment. Dann 18:07 Uhr Anruf der Vermieterin. Ich will jetzt stornieren, wird nicht akzeptiert. Das finde ich frech, eine Zumutung. Jemand 2 Stunden ohne Nachrichten warten zu lassen, scheint die Vermieterin nicht schlimm zu finden.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Checking in was very easy. I just called the landlord and got very detailed instructions. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and with lots of light. The neighbourhood is very safe and close to public transport and Groenplaats, which is one of the most beautiful spots in Antwerpen. City centre and the central station are 10-15 minutes away by foot. The harbour is very close, too.
The city tax should be payed by cash. But they also make their guests aware of this, so one can withdraw some money in advance.

Reviewed May 18, 2026we hebben genoten van een weekendje Antwerpen. De accommodatie was klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De host was aanwezig toen we aankwamen, en we kregen nog wat uitleg. we hadden van te voren ook al via berichten op booking.com voldoende informatie gekregen. Het appartement was prima schoon en goed onderhouden. (nog niet zo lang geleden gerenoveerd) Locatie is top, enkele minuten lopen van het historisch centrum en om de hoek een parkeergarage.
Er staat een houten bankje waar je op kunt zitten, geen heerlijke loungebank dus om bv onderuitgezakt tv te kijken.

Would have been helpful to have a drying rack for clothes went to a local laundromat but was informed that their dryers take about 3hrs to dry clothes so I just washed my clothes.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Die Maisonettewohnung in einem architektonisch interessantem Gebäude aus dem 16. Jhdt ist topausgestattet, hat einen überdachten Balkon zum Innenhof, auf dem man bei jedem Wetter frühstücken etc. kann. Die (Ruhe-) Lage der Unterkunft ist für die Erkundung Antwerpens optimal.
Es gibt im Wesentlichen keine Kritikpunkte. Nur zwei Vorschläge: Vielleicht wären ein paar Kleiderhaken mehr nützlich (vor allem bei längeren Aufenthalten sind 3 doch etwas wenig). Ich bin aber sicher, das ich bei Nachfrage zusätzliche bekommen hätte 😀. Da die Treppen mit Teppich bezogen sind, kann man mit Ledersohlen sehr leicht abrutschen. Es wären aus meiner Sicht Antirutschbänder auf den Stufen eine Verbesserung. Vor allem auf der letzten Stiege, die keinen Handlauf hat.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Ideale uitvalsbasis om Antwerpen te verkennen. Ondanks het beperkt aantal vierkante meters is aan alles gedacht. En is de accommodatie compleet en schoon. Ongedwongen contact met eigenaar, van wie we bagage in hal konden laten staan tot definitieve vertrek.
Was niet duidelijk hoe airco werkte (ook niet meer naar gevraagd).

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025De locatie is geweldig. Alles binnen loopafstand. De host was ook heel aardig / behulpzaam.
Wees alert als je met veel bagage komt, check dan goed welke kamer je hebt. Wij dachten dat het wel mee zou vallen met de trappen, maar niks is minder waar. Wij zaten helemaal bovenaan en het is een ware workout om al je bagage boven te krijgen, en ook weer naar beneden. Verder lagen er nog spullen in van de vorige gast (shirt, onderbroek, sokken, haarspeld en een riem). De gordijnen die hingen bij het bed zaten allemaal vlekken in en wanneer ik hem vastpakte, plakte mijn vingers. Dode muggensporen op meerdere plekken op de muren. Badkamer stonk. Al met al vonden wij het niet heel hygiënisch.

De bedden waren wat hard, iedereen heeft natuurlijk andere voorkeuren van bed dus dat is in principe geen probleem! Bij de keuken was er wat weinig ruimte.

Binnen een paar minuten sta je op de Grote Markt of de Groenplaats en toch is het 's avonds en 's nachts heerlijk rustig en stil. Het appartement bevat alle gemakken van thuis. Absoluut een aanrader!
Geen nadeel, hooguit iets om rekening mee te houden: sommige appartementen zijn alleen via een smalle trap te bereiken. Geen probleem als je je koffers gemakkelijk kunt tillen.

De accommodatie is kleiner en ongezelliger dan de foto's doen vermoeden. Let op welke studio je huurt; er zijn er meerdere in het pand. Verder is de keukeninventaris heel studentikoos. Prijs-kwaliteit klopt niet.

Ik ben heb meerdere keren mijn hoofd gestoten tegen een lage balk in de woonkamer (het is een oud pand en ik ben twee meter lang). Wellicht even aangeven in de beschrijving, ik had als ik dit had geweten even verder gekeken naar een alternatief.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2025Located in the old town of Antwerp. Walking distance to the attractions. The host was so kind to introducing the history and attractions of Belgium to me. (She speaks Chinese) It's said to be a house from 16th century.
The fridge was smelly. It smelled like some foods were rotten inside the fridge, and to covered it, they applied some fragrance in the fridge, which made it more disgusting. I didn't want to put anything inside, everything in the fridge was contaminated by the smell. The stairs are too narrow and steep. I am young and it's ok, but not a good option for the olds. It was hard to take my luggage through the stairs. The Wi-Fi signal was too weak in the attic, I lost connection from time to time when I was laying on the bed. But the bandwidth is high enough, >100Mbps is the signal is fine.
