no elevator to climb up to 5th floor. We have two big luggages😫. Only on the day before our departure and we are informed to throw the rubbish, n the rubbish plastic provided was transparent color, not as stated the orange color bag. We have to find the orange color bag by ourselves. Instructions to find the bin to throw the rubbish also not clear. We also spend sometime to find ourselves. We also encounter difficulties to find our room, it was not stated in the key that our room is located which floor, we climb up all the floor to find😵

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Our oven wasn’t working in our studio apartment so the host moved us to a three bedroom apartment with separate living room and kitchen which we appreciated. The apartment is very central For everything including shops, train station and access to the gondola and Gornergrat cogwheel train . Three balcony’s gave us access to different views.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026超讚！！！！我們住五樓，房間乾淨明亮，廚房設備齊全，溫馨又放鬆。離車站和纜車都超近。 房間正前方就是清楚的馬特洪峰，陽台是觀賞日照金山的絕佳位置；後面的房間則是屋舍與鐵軌，夜景很美。 大推，真的很愛。
要爬六層樓（包含地下室），體力要求比較高😂

No lift inside the building, for those who plan to stay at this property must consider not taken any luggage or consider taken the lower floor. But if lower floor the view was not perfect anymore as will block by side building which was taller. Request host to change lower floor face to face during key collection but was refuse by her even she got saw our big luggage, totally disappointed. My room was at 5th floor......

沒有電梯，沒有提供沐浴乳和洗髮乳，稍微不方便。樓板感覺不厚，樓上或隔壁住客如果習慣差會很吵。

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The location of the apartment is fantastic. You are near the Main Street and the train. There is a supermarket, restaurants etc very close by. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Accessing the apartment was very easy and I found the instructions were very detailed.
It was not a problem for us but if you are sensitive to noise there is some train noise. Also this may seem minor but you pay a lot for the accommodation so you should have more than one rubbish bag provided especially if you are expected to use specific ones. Also information on where to dispose of rubbish should be provided as well.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025This was great. A very nice apartment on the top floor of the Chalet with view of the Matterhorn. Provided a cot and high chair for our toddler, which was great. Very centrally located, with short walks to the train station, the Gornergratbahn and the mountain funicular to Sunnegga. Hard to beat - I hope we will be able to stay there again.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Easy to find and keys in lock box easy to access. Central location especially for train station. Comfy beds. Hosts very responsive to the problem we had with no hot water.
Balcony only had view of stairwell of block of flats in front of building. This was not very clear on the description. Only room for one arm chair in the lounge area which was also very dark. Very noisy throughout the night unfortunately so couldn't open windows at night when it was warm.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Die Ferienwohnung hat uns super gefallen, vor allem der tolle Blick auf das Matterhorn zur einen Seite und zur zur anderen Seite konnte man die Gornergratbahn und die Helikopter der Air Zermatt beobachten. Die Lage ist top, in unmittelbarer Nähe ist der Bahnhof, die Gornergratbahn, die Sunneggabahn, es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zwei schöne Spielplätze. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Personal im Hotel Post war sehr nett.
Leider gibt es im Haus keinen Aufzug und deshalb mussten wir das Gepäck in den 5. Stock tragen.

Beds were a bit hard and pillows very large for sleeping. A choice of pillow sizes would have been nice. The hot water kettle is plastic inside so we didn’t use it.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2025The location was perfect with gornergrat station, busstop, supermarket etc around the corner. The apt is basic with a small kitchen and 2 comfortable bedrooms. Also there is a laundry room in the building with 2 washers and 1 dryer. When the train passes underneath the apt it’s quite loud but it didnt bother us (and most of the time we weren’t home anyway)
Nothing to do with our apt, but other people in the building were allowed to smoke in their apt (?) and we were able to smell the smoke in our apt (fortunately not in the bedrooms though, only close to the apt entrance)

The shower is connected and visible to the bedroom, whilst this wasn’t an issue for us personally it would be great if this could be advertised when booking the room.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2025I'm second time in Zermat. The appartment was just a minute walc from the main railway station to Tasch and traint to Gornergrat for skiing. Perfect location where you don't need a taxi for anything. There is a special room in the building for ski equipment. In the appartment you have everything you need just like in your home. Comunication is perfect. Very good view on Matterhorn and sunrise from the fifth floor.

The building has no stairs, so someone has to carry the laggage all the way up. This should be made clear while booking. When you have the key, you have to figure out which floor is your room and that your name is written by the door, as there is no reception. Again, this should be made clear while booking
