La chambre était très propre et le lit confortable. L'emplacement est idéal, très central dans Zermatt à quelques minutes à pied de la gare. Petit déjeuner bien fourni avec de multiples choix.

la salle de bain est un peu vieillotte, elle mériterait un petit coup de fraicheur.

Lovely big bathroom! Fabulous shower and corner bath and private area for toilet. Terrace outside our door, so we could sit outside but not secure to leave that door open for ventilation, at night, as anyone could get in!

No air con. No window! No USB plug points. No European plug points. Had to purchase a Swiss adapter the next morning. Unable to open the wardrobe doors without moving the beds! Only one pillow each but a very helpful member of staff, (in another building) was able to give us two more. Check in was a few buildings away. Breakfast choices were minimal. Not very healthy. Even the fruit was tinned. Coffee wasn’t very pleasant. Staff at breakfast were friendly.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Special thanks to the receptionist, who went above and beyond to help us after we were initially assigned a different room than the one shown on our Booking.com reservation. She took our concerns seriously and kindly offered us the opportunity to choose another available room, which we really appreciated. The mattress and duvet were very comfortable, the only minor downside was the pillows, which were a bit too flat/soft for our preference, although we understand that this is a matter of personal taste. We also appreciated the possibility of leaving our luggage after check-out, as well as the complimentary breakfast.

Very dated rooms. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every movement from other guests.

Great location. Easy to get to from Railway Station even with luggage. Just a short flat walk.

Rooms are too small if you have lots of luggage for skiing.

The room was comfortable and clean, conveniently located close to the main street and the train station. As I arrived in Zermatt without a reservation, hoping to escape the heat of the lowlands, I happened to meet Mrs. Chrisanthi, at check-in desk, who immediately offered me a room. After a long day of hiking, I was quite tired, and she kindly helped me set up the Wi-Fi on my iPhone, completed the check-in process for me, and even gave me a small welcome chocolate. Many thanks to her, and my warmest regards. The room was carpeted, and the bathroom was a little dated but clean. The terrace was shared with other hotel guests. Breakfast was served in a rustic-style dining room at another hotel and was unfortunately, not very well ventilated . But at the end, even if it is a little too expensive, it was my best night of sleep, since days !

We arrived by train after a long days travel, to find we had to check in at a sister hotel, the Simi. Not a great start. Had to lug baggage up a flight of stairs to even get to a lift. Thankfully a very nice man was able to help. Room numbers make zero sense so take note of your instructions, no lights working in corridors. Room…comfy bed, no extra pillows, cramped, furniture worn, in fact the entire room was tired and dated and felt a little grubby. Bathroom was cramped, with abysmal lighting. In fact there was nothing to make me want to ever return to this hotel again. There was a nice balcony and as it was cool, that was a boon, but no air con. Shame about the mosquitos. Didn’t take breakfast despite it being included, as I wanted to get away asap. Will not stay again, not will be recommending to clients.

Loved the location. Our balcony provided a view of the Matterhorn. Unexpected and a big bonus.

There are no staff onsite. However, this wasn’t a problem just odd at first. The property felt older — not sure that it was. We didn’t spend much time in the room and we were comfortable while there.

The location is fine, just off the main street in Zermatt. The room was quite small, but I could open the windows wide to make it feel larger. The breakfast was great.

It was very expensive for what it is, but that maybe a reflection of Zermatt rather than the hotel itself.

The rooms were way too hot and one of the towel racks wouldn’t turn off. we were told to just “open a window” to resolve the issue. In the end we had to leave an outside door wide open all night to try and make the room acceptable to sleep. There was an issue with how many people were eligible for breakfast. We had to pay extra for 2 people despite the booking clearly stating 4 people. The hotel didn't want to know about it and told us to sort out with booking.com

Gute Lage, sauber, freundliches Personal.

Sehr veraltete Ausstattung. Beim Frühstück (bereits um 08 Uhr) wird nicht mehr nachgefüllt, auch die Auswahl sehr mager.

El Hotel esta bien ubicado, posibilidad de dejar las maletas guardadas antes o después, el desayuno bien, la habitacion con un pequeño balcon, con vista al Cervin, tranquilo. Lo recomendamos !

Check-in erfolgt in einem anderen Hotel, ca. 50 Meter entfernt.

Es war sauber und sehr zentral gelegen.

Unser Zimmer war alt, die Einrichtung entspricht nicht den präsentierten Fotos. Von der Decke kommt der ganze Belag herunter. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Es ist auch sehr ringhörig.

Die zentrale Lage finden wir gut. Die Zimmer entsprachen unseren Erwartungen. Für uns war das Continental ideal!

Für noch ältere Personen dürfte das Duschen wegen dem hohen Einstieg in die Badewanne ein Problem darstellen.

Pro Location: it is a five minute walk from train station, Gornergrat gograil, seconds from shops, restaurants, and bars. Wifi was very good Breakfast is continental but very good. There is no hot foods ie bacon, eggs etc. Has a large safe Large private balcony Elevator (which is not always the case in Europe) Cons Rooms are not very big (common in Europe) Beds are rock hard. My back was killing me by the end of our stay) Pillows very flimsy Lock is opened and locked by a key (outside and INSIDE the room) You get only one key meaning if the room mates separate during the day you need to get together since only one of you will have a key, No bar fridge in every room. It is obviously a ski hotel, rug was grey, not sure if it was or from years of dirt.

Great location. Decent amenities. Decently sized rooms. Good for short stays.

The shower gel dispenser was completely empty. No way to regulate room temp since it was too hot to have the radiator on. Pillows weren’t great. Ask for extras. No slippers, brushes/toothpaste extra amenities or a list to order off of No staff at the hotel itself. Have to go or call simi across from continental for everything.

Walking distance from Zermatt train & Gornegrat railway stations, shops for personal needs (shampoo, toothpaste etc), souvenirs, & groceries (fruits, water etc). Our room has a good view of Matterhorn.

5-6steps to the main floor where elevator is. Consider this if your luggages are heavy.

Great location and superb staff. I was upgraded to the parent hotel next door, Hotel Simi. Comfortable and always spotless clean. Desk staff helpful and professional. Would stay again.

We had a clean room. Efficiently cleaned, with all our needs including a refrigerator. Breakfast was also good, with plenty of options and friendly staff.

Perfect location in downtown Zermatt. 5 minute walk to the train station. Our room was in the back with a private terrace and a mountain view (not of the Matterhorn). Breakfast was included when we stayed. Clean rooms, great service. We found the WiFi to be a bit weak where our room was, other than that great stay.

Quiet clean hotel with free breakfast

The hotel is tucked away on a small side street in the center of town. The locations is good, if a little hard to find. The hotel is quite plain, the room was small but satisfactory, without a view. Zermatt is quite overdeveloped, and the hotel reflects that. It reflects the lost charm the town had years ago.

Check-in is at a different location, nearby but awkward. Steps into the building make managing luggage awkward. Lobby space is very limited and not particularly welcoming or useful. There is no restaurant or cafe, although several are located nearby, but without early morning hours, so getting coffee or breakfast is a challenge.

The hotel is centrally located in the town, quiet and convenient. However, we don't like this hotel at all. There was no reception desk in the hotel, and we were instructed to go to another hotel for check-in. The beds in the room were terrible, which was only 1 foot above the ground. Other furniture was so old and in poor condition. The sofa looked like the one from garage sale. In addition, the breakfast was not good. So we won't use it again if we come visit Zermatt in the future.
