As instalações são simples mas muito confortáveis e silenciosas. A imersão na natureza local, vegetação, pássaros, são um diferencial, fazendo do café da manhã uma experiência única Os porcos circulam pela propriedade e tambem sao um atrativo, e isso sem prejuízo da higiene ou segurança. Local próximo a restaurantes e as melhores praias de Curacao (< 10 min). É essencial ter um carro alugado e eles tem ótimas referências.

We stayed for 6 nights and overall had a very pleasant stay. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives. The checkin instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The bungalow was very clean upon arrival, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare a proper meal. Although the bungalows are built 2 under 1 roof, each unit has its own pathway to the main entrance and due to the layout and surrounding trees there is a great sense of privacy. We could sit outside for hours or relax in the hammock and truly unwind. The tranquility of the park is one of its strongest points, with birds and iguanas in the trees and friendly pigs and cats roaming around. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We appreciated that having visitors was allowed and the free coffee every morning at the reception was a nice bonus. The pool area was very nice and well maintained, just like the rest of the park. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is good, with safe parking inside the property. Having a car is absolutely necessary if you want to explore the island. Even though we did not request one, we liked that there was a wide variety of welcome packages available to order.

The jacuzzi has been out of order for months, yet it is still promoted with photos, without any notice that it is unavailable until arrival. On their website it is stated that daily housekeeping is provided, but upon arrival we were told it is every 4 days. In reality, we only received fresh towels after 4 days, the used towels were left inside the bungalow, with no fresh bed linens during our stay. We also had to take out the trash ourselves and there were no garbage bags provided. Lastly, we could only use the rain shower because the switch to the handheld shower was broken and could not be repaired in the short term. Although we were initially dissatisfied with some of the shortcomings, as the days passed we truly grew to love the place. We hope that our feedback will be taken into account, so that guests have the experience they expect from the very beginning and can fully enjoy the entire duration of their stay.

Je hebt echt een auto nodig. OV is te doen, alleen ben je zo een halve dag kwijt voor een simpele boodschap te doen.

Ubicación, limpieza, cama cómoda, ducha con agua caliente, dormitorio con aire acondicionado, tranquilidad, acceso a piscina

Acceso a dormitorio en planta alta x escalera muy angosta, no apta para adulto mayor, niños o personas con discapacidad física . Esto no se ve en las fotos publicadas. Además el dormitorio es muy pequeño, la cama ocupa todo el ancho del mismo sin espacio a los costados. El techo del dormitorio tiene una bajada pronunciada en uno de los lados haciendo incómodo el acceso a la cama, hay que cuidar no chocar la cabeza.

The location was perfect, close to really good beaches! It was quite and very peaceful! Bed was super comfortable, shower was good, also a nice kitchen. Everything was there!

Vegetatie waardoor veel vogels en het mooie zwembad ( jacuzzi nog steeds buiten gebruik). Opzet huisjes met veel privacy.

Huisje lag dicht bij de weg waar net nieuwe bekabeling werd aangelegd hierdoor ook veel zwaar vrachtverkeer.

Mitten um Grünen in der Insekmitte, schnell bei den schönsten Stränden. Schweine, Katzen, Leguane und viele Vögel die sich in der Anlage frei bewegen können. Fütterung am Morgen und am Abend hat uns viel Spass gemacht. Bungalov mit gut ausgestatteter Küche.. Kleiner feiner Poolbereich. Preis Leistung Top. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen..

Check In per Downloads und WhatsApp Anweisung etwas kompliziert. Ich hätte mir um 15 Uhr 30 jemanden vor Ort gewünscht. Den Gasofen konnte ich alleine nicht in Gang bringen.! Am 2. Tag wurde uns geholfen und alles war gut. Ich habe für die ganze Zeit ein Auto (Anmiete und Rückgabe am Airport) gebucht Da weder ein Restaurant noch ein Supermarkt zu Fuss ereichvar sind, ist ein eigenes Fahrzeug notwendig und meine Emofehlung. Die Taxi Preise sind recht hoch und öffentliche Transporte keine empfehlenswerte Option. Die günstigten Quartiere liegen nahe an der Strasse.

De rust, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, de dieren die langskwamen, de hangmat, het zwembad, de gratis ochtend koffie die ook contact bracht en de privacy. En uiteraard de prijs want die is voor Curaçao heel mooi. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug in The Dream of the Green Flamingo.

Ik ben niet zo gesteld op steile trapjes om de wc in de nacht te bereiken. Had liever iets zonder trap gehad, maar die waren niet meer beschikbaar.

Gavome viską ko tikėjomės: daugiau gamtos, floros ir faunos nei kitur, puikų ir švarų baseiną, kuris labai patiko mūsų vaikams, taip pat labai draugišką priėmimą. Dar labai patiko nemokama kava kiekvieną rytą ir pašnekesiai su kituose nameliuose gyvenančiais kaimynais. Labai geras kainos ir kokybės santykis.

Viskas patiko. Tik reikia suprasti, kad tai 5* viešbutis, o labiau kempingo- svečių namų tipas.

Heerlijk rustig en kleinschalig. Chillen in de hangmat of met andere gasten aan het einde van de middag in en bij het zwembad. Het appartement heeft wat je nodig hebt. Goede prijs. Goede locatie, maar je hebt wel een auto nodig, Fijne mensen. Wij vonden ook de everzwijnen en de vogels leuk.

Eerste keer binnenkomen met de QR-code was een crime: die in wallet werkte niet, die we in WhatsApp ontvangen hadden gelukkig wel. Ik heb het advies gegeven om voor je gasten de airco aan te doen (dus als je gaat, geef dit vooraf aan). Nu was het heel warm toen we binnenkwamen. Als je dan direct wilt slapen wordt je niet blij...

Secured parking, privacy and the "wild life" around (iguanas, lizards, birds, wild pigs,...). Good position in the middle of the Island - close to nearest beaches, West Point or the city.

One of the two pools (Jacuzzi) is out of order in 2025, but still appears in all prospects and ads.

De locatie, super mooi natuurgebied. Echt prachtig. En de matrassen waren super comfortabel. Ik lag net zo lekker als in mijn eigen bed thuis.

sehr schöne Anlage, mitten in der Natur aber doch nicht weit zu den schönsten Stränden. Mietwagen empfohlen, dann kommt man überall auf der Insel schnell hin.

Não há café da manhã. A localização é boa para quem procura as praias do meio da ilha; mas o local é muito bonito. Preservaram as árvores locais e os bichos vem te visitar, a gente acorda com o piar dos pássaros. E a gerente Ruth é extremamente simpática!

A entrada da propriedade se dá através de um QR Code no portão. Ora, pessoas idosas têm certa dificuldade com essas modernidades - havia um minúsculo quadrado no visor, embaixo à direita, que eu deveria ter acionado antes de mostrar o QR Code ao leitor, de forma que não funcionou. Tive que telefonar ao funcionário que me explicou o "modus operandi"...

Bed

Jammer dat er niet in is aangegeven dat de weg opgebroken is, moesten nu steeds ver omrijden. Hadden anders zeker iets anders geboekt. Ook teveel varkens die overlast veroorzaken stank en poep!

Er waren veel leuke dieren. Heel bijzonder waren de wilde varkentjes. Kwamen elke ochtend om eten vragen, en waren erg gezellig. Zijn erg social en vriendelijk. Houden van fruit en muis korels die we speciaal voor ze kochten. Werden ook de jonkies door de moeders meegenomen. Verder 2 gezellige katten, ook voer voor gekocht, en bleven elke ochtend komen. De mooie Tupial vogels en diverse anders vogels. Het is oase van rust. Een tuin van Noach uit de bijbel. Met bijzonder vriendelijk personeel, een mooi zwembad, jakouzi. En heel dichtbij de mooiste stranden van Curacau. Wij komen zeker terug.

Alles was zeer ok voor ons.

I had a really nice stay at the Dream of the Green Flamingo. A few miles away are 2-3 wonderful beaches, the bungalow was good, the staff very friendly and the piggys walking around beween the trees an amusing addition to the experience. Also there is a restaurant down the street that has a great goat-meat-burger. Definitely recommended!

Far from city hassle, natural surroundings, very clean. Comfortable

It was a very quiet and comfortable eco resort. Every morning, we would wake up to the birds chirping as long as you provide a little water for them. One villa is split into 2 apartments. During the weekend, you can hear the neighbours a little, but during the week, there were no neighbours. The staff were very friendly and they can give a lot of tips on places to visit if needed.

The location is perfect, serene and the check in was easy. Very up to date on the current technology and ecofriendly. I enjoyed the surroundings, animals and the peace the resort provided.

The Jacuzzi was out of order but everything else was wonderful and we could enjoy it.

The property is centrally located.

The property was poorly maintained, poorly managed and honestly, a bit of a joke. A rustic or “eco-lodge” type stay is one thing but this was another. Thing entirely. The staff are only available onsite from 9:00am until 1:00pm Monday -Saturday- which is when most guests are off enjoying the island. They are not there on Sunday which is when flew in. Our room was double booked so we sat there with another family for two hours until someone from the place finally called us back. By then, the few hours we had to enjoy a nearby beach was gone. They only do a room “refresh” every four days which means you can’t get new towels until then (they were never in the front office to give them to you even if you were willing to pay for them) The room was dank, dark and musty. There was a horrible mold smell under the kitchen cabinets and the only time we saw a maintenance person was when he was refilling the bait in the rat traps located all over the property. The pool was run down — with the filters not turned on — with the decking needing replacement in many places. The jacuzzi looked like it hadn’t worked in years. There was no hot water for showering or doing dishes. Because of the sewer system they have, you cannot flush paper. You must throw toilet paper into a tiny trash can by the toilet which begins to reek in the hot air very quickly. It’s so disgusting. The doors didn’t have a threshold so insects, snakes, lizards, spiders, ants, or anything else could come right in- and they did! We were supposed to stay 8 days but we left after 4. Oh, and the WiFi NEVER worked- they claimed that a cable was cut but we didn’t buy it.

Heerlijk kleinschalig vakantiepark met mooie huisjes die in het groen en lekker rustig over het terrein verdeeld zijn. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed omheind, terrein veilig en met ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Fantastisch, behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader, wij hebben genoten van onze ruime Deluxe Bungaliws. The fact that it was in between nature and it was beautiful and there were piggies walking around so cute

The resort manager was available for questions and the check-in was very laid back and no stress at all. Loved it! There is coffee in the morning so you can interact with the other visitors, if you like. The garden with the trees and chirping birds is very soothing.

There was nothing to complain about. Had a great stay!

Location was great... we went for diving and we were 5 mins drive from the dive shop- Divers Republic. The property is fabulous... surrounded by nature... we had pigs and a cat come visit us every morning and evening.. lots of birds... a real oasis.

Lovely place, quiet and surrounded by nature. Full of iguanas, birds and a few friendly pigs. You will get total privacy and peace here. Don't expect luxury because the bungalows are small and very basic but also very pleasant.

Sleeping could be more comfortable for all guests if all beds had a mattress topper.

I liked the peacefulness. The swimming pool was tucked away providing the proper rest & chill vibe. I liked that the studio bungalow had everything to make your stay pleasant.

The property has some pet pigs. They just walk around but it could be scary when they move suddenly in the bushes.

It is very close to the most popular beaches in Curaçao, the service was spectacular.

The property was beautiful. Villas were secluded and surrounded by nature. Love the birds and wildlife, especially the cat that came to visit often. The villas were clean, updated, and nicely appointed. The pool was great. The location was convenient for exploring the entire island. Would love to return!

You have to rent a car to leave the property - conveniently it's very easy to do so from the property itself. Make sure to bring everything you need to eat and clean up after yourself because the reception hours can be inconvenient and very little is included in the bungalow itself. For example: being eco-friendly doesn't mean saving operating costs by expecting guests to provide dish soap and then have to carry it around with them or leave it behind, it would be more reasonable to provide eco-friendly dish soap as an example of what to use. Small touches like that would enhance the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had a great stay with two kids! Every worker on the site was friendly and so welcoming, an amazing atomosphere with tropical Curaçao nature and their small creatures all around to make kids and adults feel we are part of it. We had terrace breakfast with a lot of birds as company every morning. We enjoyed their swimming pool, Location was great to reach northern beaches as well as the city or other activeties/atractions.

Be ready for the annoying mosquito bites if you would not bring something for it. You would need to bring or buy your own cooking oil, dish soap, extra toilet papers, shampoos since its a bangalow (like... a camping cottage) - not a hotel, however, everything else was there.

The location is great! Driving distance about 8' you will find some of the nicest beaches of Curaçao like Porto Marie, Karakter, Daaibooi and Cas Abao. Also, nearby is the flamingo 🦩 sanctuary at Williwood! We liked our house called Aladuru, which is the name of one of the many beautiful birds you will see if you stay in the resort! Our bungalow was very comfy with a capacity for 4 persons. Bedrooms are spacious with AC, beds are good size and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, because we could connect with nature. We loved to wake up with birds songs, and see other animals like iguanas, eagles and cats! There are two pools (one big and the other small). Nice decoration of the bungalows and my favorite place was the terrace next to the trees where we could chill and relax. What's more, you will find kitchen and coffee amenities to cook like home and even a place for BBQ! We would like to thank the host to help us with our emergency issue!

We would have love to find some soap, shampoo, plastic bags for trash and soap to wash the dishes. Also, there is a fee for using the AC, electricity that you pay after your stay. We thought all these were included in the price.

Wonderful experience! We enjoyed our stay to the max. Loved the small kitchen, the outdoor space, and the staff. It was so peaceful. The wild pigs around the grounds were great. I enjoyed the security and guests got their own RFID gate opener to make it easier.

Loved that it is both secluded and easily accessible. The park-like property shields any noise from outside and serves as habitat for all kinds of birds and lizards that hang out by the porches. Close Porto Marie, Daaibooi and Cas Abao, some of the best beaches on the Island.

An observation, not a critical comment – electricity is a separate charge at the end of the stay, so each guest is responsible for controlling their AC and hot water usage. The charge after a week for a 2 bedroom bungalow for 2 people came at $35, not exorbitant by any means.

Safe and Quite

This is nice quiet , friendly service natural place , it is very comfortable with enough distance between each bungalow without any noise disturbances . Location is good to access beaches and away from the major resort areas to enjoy the local taste !

The Green Flamingo is a hidden gem. The hosts were very amicable and accommodating. The place is clean, the internet fast enough and we very much enjoyed having parking and a pool on the premises. They also had noodles and floaties near the pool which was nice as we have a toddler. It is also close to our favorite beach Porto Marie. They also provided us with beaches towels and everything you would need in the kitchen except for dish soap which we purchased ourselves. They also have a convenient store on the premises if you are missing anything. The supermarket is also not far by car. We enjoyed being in nature and loved how cozy our bungalow felt.

I wish they had a television. At times, we were a little bored and had to use our phones to watch programming. It wasn’t a necessity but it would have been a nice touch. There was also a lot of animal poop at the bungalow’s entrance and on the walk path. To our surprise, we found a scorpion in our bungalow; didn’t know Curacao had them.

Nice quiet bungalows with everything you need. The staff prepared groceries and it was complete.

A lot of mosquitoes

Loved the location and staff. Quiet and relaxing, lots of vegetation and privacy. Close to all activities by car. Unit was well stocked for cooking, provided towels and linen. Close to beaches and city.

Units could use more storage shelves and hooks for hanging clothes to dry. There was one drying rack, but was outside and exposed to rain. Having a covered drying rack would help during rainy season. Could have used extra beach towels, but that was on us to better manage.

Awesome place. In the middle of trees, with a lot of birds and iguanas that visit us in the morning after some pieces of fruit we let for them. Ecological place with Solar farm system and water reservoir for the water discard, used for the trees in the house. Close to the Curação west beaches (Porto Marie, Cas Abao, Daaibooi...), but you definitely need a car to access the place and the beaches. Special mention to Salim, who give us a lot of information and was an excellent host. I Already want to get back to Dream of Green Flamingo.
