Reviewed May 30, 2026Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, groß, hell und sehr komfortabel. Das Bett ist super bequem. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderschön. Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen!

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026The property was close enough to the city to allow us to move around quickly by car, but still far enough to allow us to see the Aurora from our backyard every night. Right in front of the river, it was awesome. The property itself was clean and fully equipped. We used the sauna a few nights and even had a fireplace outside watch the Aurora.

Die Lage ist perfekt um die finnische Einsamkeit kennenzulernen, aber immer noch nah genug an Rovaniemi um zu Tanken & Essen zu kaufen ect. Die Kommunikation über WhatsApp vorab war super und Seppo steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden um sofort einzuziehen:). Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe von Rovaniemi sind , wäre ohne zu überlegen dies wieder unser Heim für diese Zeit. Jederzeit wieder.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Все было просто великолепно. Сепо хозяин был очень внимательный, постоянно был на связи и был готов помочь с любыми вопросами. Дом великолепен, есть все что нужно и даже больше. Сауна в доме это просто шикарно, когда вечером хочешь погреться после прогулок и экскурсий.
Все было великолепно, мы с мужем в восторге . Хотим приехать еще и летом. Буду рекомендовать этот дом нашим друзьям и знакомым .

Didn’t have a tv in the main living room and would have been lovey to have had some milk just to have a coffee on arrival as we arrived late at night

El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, respondiendo rápido y facilitando todo lo necesario. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo totalmente.

Reviewed Oct 22, 2025Unsere Ferien in der Villa Puistola war ein Traum! Dieser wunderschöne Ort direkt am Fluss Kemijoki mit diesem charmant eingerichteten Haus hat uns verzaubert. Nach langen Ausflügen in die beeindruckende Natur Finnlands konnten wir den Luxus der Sauna genießen. Ein Dankeschön auch an Seppo und Sirpa für die hilfreichen Tipps und die herzliche Konversation!!!

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025The house is right next to the river and surrounded by nature. It's perfect for a relaxing moment. It's a modern structure; the part of the house facing the river has windows that allow you to admire the surrounding nature while sitting comfortably on the sofa in the living room. The living room also features a real grand piano, for those who know how to play it. It's also fully equipped with everything you need for storing food, cooking, and doing laundry. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. Communication with them was very immediate and clear. We received all the necessary information to get to the property, collect the keys, and begin to familiarize ourselves with the surrounding area. In short, a unique experience, one we hope to repeat someday.
We haven't identified any negative aspects.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2025The best location and home you can wish for in a peaceful place 15min from Rovaniemi by car. The facilities are amazing, the grand piano is tuned and magnificent, the views and access to nature is amazing. There is enough space in the house to comfortably stay as 4 people, the sauna and bathroom is very comfortable. Full height windows make it look as if you’re deep in nature without anyone nearby. And, of course, the best and most kind hosts! We’ll definitely come back!

The Seppo and Sirpa are amazing hosts, they provided us with so much information from the start that we barely had to ask anything. We are hoping to return soon❤️

Reviewed Dec 21, 2024The accommodation was absolutely beautiful; homely, warm and welcoming. The facilities were fantastic & the sauna was perfect after a day out in the cold! The location was just what we wanted, semi rural but close enough to lots of amenities and attractions. It is situated in a very quiet little neighbourhood which is so lovely & peaceful. We hired a car which I would definitely recommend if staying here. We also had the best host. Seppo was attentive and kind, offering lots of useful advice & guidance which was invaluable. The best host we've had!
Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation & were sad to leave.
