Carlingford Marina Apartments

The view was amazing

I thought the kitchen was poorly equipped, 3 mugs, few random glasses, so that was disappointing. Need to stack the kitchen much better and a dustpan and brush would be useful.

V accessible to the area & was perfect for our little staycation...

Chairs were all wobbly in appt but poss should have said - but all were so they like that a while... rest of it was nice :)

Fab basic apartment, right on the marina with access to so many local activities! Clean and well equipped, had a wonderful stay

Stunning location in the marina, view exceptional. Will 100% be back. 2 min walk to the Hotbox facilities. 10min walk into Carlingford town which is a beautiful little town

People playing music till 2 in the morning when I rang a after hours contact number they said just knock in and tell them to keep it down so no help I already did that but they didn’t answer the door . And the bar closed at 5 in the day time

Great location, plenty to do if you like outdoor activities and only about 15min walk to the lovely village. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather.

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views of the marina, tv in kids room to watch when they were chilling.

Double bed a bit soft but that's just a personal thing. Teenagers said their beds were perfect. 1 or 2 trays for oven is all that's missing

Great views of the marina , right beside the greenway and bike rental. Looks over at the saunas. Walkable distance to carlingford town.

Gorgeous location, looking over the marina. Staff were really nice, apartment was perfect for what we needed for two nights. Right at the end of the greenway

Very little storage for clothes. Definitely designed as a place only intended to host for one or two nights. Very drunk people at the front of the apartment on 2nd evening, not the owners fault and carlingford is a destination for nights out but very disruptive and loud when you have kids. Parking tricky but that comes with territory when the weather is good!

Great location a short walk to town and fantastic view

We loved the location, the beautiful views, the proximity to the town and greenway trail. We found the property very comfortable and perfect for our family of four. We were grateful for the tea and coffee, hand soap and dishwasher tablets that were provided. These little extras make a big difference since we flew from USA and would not want to bring such things with us.

The wood flooring looked strangely distressed for what appears to be a fairly new property and could use some fresh paint on the walls soon. But these cosmetics did not affect our enjoyment.

The view, the cleanliness, the fact it was dog friendly. Lovely staff.

A little welcome package would be nice. And it would have been good of the restaurant was open midweek. Not complaints just trying to give feedback.

I went with 3 friends and was very happy with the accommodation. The girl at reception was very helpful. Bed was comfy and it was clean. Very short walk into centre. Lovely views of marina. Would definitely go back. Good value for money.

If I had to say anything there should be a few more utensils as we did cook a few meals.

The view and location was amazing. Everything we needed was here including easy parking, cooking facilities etc Beds were great, and shower room perfect. Few more hooks for towels would be great.

Felt a little tired in some places. Bedding and shower facilities were top notch and beds very comfortable. Just few tired bits and some splash stains around wood work, Walls and sun stained furniture. We were in number 8 (the Edge top floor) meaning we were next to road where RV’s park and the flat below us had largest patio so having window curtain open was really not that great as loads of walkers, downstairs and RV users driving in looked straight in. (Felt like it anyway)

Enjoyed our stay lovely and clean great place great view's bar and restaurant on site food was great sauna right beside us and the greenaway definitely be back soon.

Ideal location on the waterfront. 1 min walk is the hot box sauna and access to sea via steps for a cold dip. 1 min walk away is the Greenway walk way with breathtaking scenery of the sea and mountains, you can hire bicycles or walk, we walked about 7km to An Tain cafe for some homemade cake and coffee, walked 7km back to the marina. From the Marina, you can walk into the town in about 10mins, I'd recommend the mobile chippie and ice cream van. There is a restaurant at the Marina with breakfast, lunch & dinner options plus they are dog friendly!

The Marina has very strict rules around quiet time so everyone in the Marina apartments and also outside in the Marina mobile home park up area, from 9pm to 9am, theres complete silence, no one was around, which is great & very family friendly. Although you can hear the boats bobbing in the water, you can hear the constant clanging of sail posts, you can hear the sea breeze clanging the boats etc.. so some people might find this annoying if your not use to it, I suggest you bring ear plugs (& eye mask as the apartments had upper windows that let in light the whole time from bright lights outside). Other from that the Marina is perfect!!

The noise levels where ridiculous! On arrival we had to ask for a room change due to noise levels - room was chats to a different room type which was not really ideal so because of the others that where disruptive we had to move to another room instead of them being spoken too! Bed was not comfortable in the slightest

Great apartment with a lovely view over the marina. Only a 15 min walk to the town for the cafés, bars and restaurants.

Not a big deal but thought Rabelos missed out on a lot of custom being closed on Easter Tuesday.

From the start the team were great, they allowed me to check in slightly earlier as I was ahead of time which was a great start to the weekend. The photos did not do the rooms justice, incredible view, extremely clean and very spacious. The main town is only a 10 minute walk from the property however there is a bar/restaurant on site which is very affordable with excellent food and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be back

Beautiful location overlooking the lough. There is also a fabulous bar and restaurant on site, which also has a fantastic view. Would definitely stay again!

Only critique would be the bunk bed, it wasn't the biggest for 3 people to sleep in it.

We were in room 7. The room with the view of the marina, the top circle window had no blind so that in the morning it made the room very bright when the sun came up making it hard to sleep

Perfect for a couple of nights away with a group of girls. Bar & Restaurant on sight is great and hot sauna box beside it was great. Only a short walk into town

Horrendous noise from other apartments from 12.30 a.m throughout the night. Shouting loud singing banging doors.scraping chairs, music No-one to report this to,so it never stopped and we couldn't get any sleep.
