Everything from our arrival time when Lisa Marie showed us around our Breathtakingly Beautiful Charming Accommodation and gave us the history of how Lisa Marie and her husband came to call their apartment "The Stables" to when we booked out after our very peaceful comfortable relaxing stay. So A Big THANKS to Lisa Marie and her Husband from Louise & Podge.
That we couldn't have spent longer time at No.2 The Stables.
Leagan simplicity _ clever use of space, access to garden and able to dine outside
No issues..curtain doesn't fully screen sleeping area from room 2!
Beautifully decorated! V secure and safe property. Fabulous stable conversion.
Kitchenette only has a microwave. I was expecting a hob or even one of the microwave hob ovens.
It was just amazing, everything we needed under one roof, private yet in touching distance of lots
It was very clean and cosy
We absolutely loved our stay here, very beautiful and cosy. The place was spotless, with fresh clean towels and bedding. Really loved what the hosts have done with the space. Very quiet area. We will definitely return again.
Nothing to report
Amazing location, space & local amenities near by. Really great stay, would revisit!!
Spotless clean and comfortable cosy the heating was on plenty of hot water and towels. Lovely spot had everything needed for a short break. Coffee tea milk jam butter and scones very happy. We where at a 50th birthday party in the area ideal spot
The code on the gate was a bit tricky that’s all
It was a get away whilst right within the town, superb location and quaint building and layout. Lovely for a night away, and gorgeous at night with the festoon lights and garden.
Very safe, quiet cosy accommodation. Super modern and clean. Easy check in. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Complimentary scones and butter/jam was a very nice personal touch. Coffee machine wouldn't work but the host dropped me in a coffee...😊
No complaints 👌
It’s a real hidden gem. A really nice place to stay and incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Monasterevin is very well connected by train so it’s very convenient even if you don’t have a car.
I liked everything about it.
Beautiful village in Ireland! The Stables are in a quiet location & the host is onsite. She was available if we needed anything. Loved the quaint touches.
Schoon en gezellig
Bed kraakt
What a beautiful property! Very modern and immaculately clean
Perhaps a comfy sofa to sit on if we stayed longer
Clean unit. Lisa greeted us on arrival which is always nice, and gave us ideas of where to eat.
Unit was quite small for the price. Weather was warm and when we got back to unit the upstairs was very warn and did not have a window to open to let warmth out which made it uncomfortable for sleeping.
Find an excuse to go to Monasterevin just so you can stay in The Stables! We stayed there as we were walking the Barrow Way and it was perfect. A five minute walk from the river and canal. Beautifully and simply decorated. So quiet and peaceful. Fresh scones left out with butter and jam. Tea and coffee making facilities and Lisa-Marie couldn’t do enough for you. I would absolutely go back.
Very stylish Clean Everything you needed was there Hosts were extremely helpful when I had car trouble

Great location outside of busy Dublin. Awesome cafe in town! The Stables were well built and maintained! I would stay here instead of staying in Dublin if traveling west.
Lovely little place, easy to find and very convenient
Dogs on property and beautiful garden
the shower would flood the bathroom because it was on a downwards slope
Very well maintained and furnished
Bedroom skylights allowing light into room from sunrise as there are no blinds and very light curtains.
Location information perfect. Very secure. Welcome pack much appreciated.
Downstairs bathroom a slight disadvantage during the night because of steep stairs.
The apartment was beautifully renovated and decorated and had a lots of character. There was a file containing some intructions and information. Breakfast supplies were a really nice surprise. Communication was really friendly and fast.
There could have been more functionality, for example a rack for clothes downstairs and drying rack for towels.
The peaceful location, the lovely couple who made us so welcome, Monty and Milo 😊 we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It was our 20 th wedding anniversary
There was nothing to dislike
Everything. There were just little touches around the place that made it feel so warm & welcoming.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
Perfect little property for our weekend getaway to the races in Kildare. The owner could not have been more helpful, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, just round the corner to a station and can book cabs. Cafe around the corner for breakfast and also a pizza restaurant just next door. Kildare only one stop on the train with a lovely restaurant called Hartes and a few nice pubs.
It’s was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The owners were also amazing and extremely cute and welcoming family.
Great location and very quite.
Super communication, spotlessly clean, great character. Quality coffee! Easy, contactless check in and out

Everything was perfect 🥰

On arrival gated complex secure arrival, parking on main road in a very quiet area, kitchenette clean and well presented, complimentary scones, Jam, butter, milk and coffee machine on arrival. Adequate supply of cutlery and delf, bedroom upstairs clean and well presented, bathroom and shower area well presented
Its not we didnt like, take cutlery of shelf as while walking up and down stairs, cutlery and delf rattle, not for the heavy footed (i.e hubbie 16st 6ft rugby player)
Super cosy accommodation. Easy to get to and access. Really relaxing
Great Location and easy to find. Information provided by host were very helpful. Was easy to stay in contact with host regarding any questions. Bed was comfortable and property was kept warm. Area was quite and well lit.
Style of the accommodation, Very cute and tidy little place to stay Well equipped location wifi and hair dryer and everything and coffee machine
The bed frame and mattress could be a little better Could do with a entrance mat and maybe swap the two little chairs for a comfy sofa
Beautiful place, well located, all around lovely
Only slight issue is that wet room floods when your having a shower due to the fall in the ground going the wrong way, however this didnt cause any issue for us.
The location is accessible by public transport wich is very convenient. The place itself is super cozy and welcoming. A good place to recharge your batteries. And the hosts are very helpful! Really enjoyed my stay there!
It was cosy clean and was nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable
Would have liked comfortable seating maybe a small couch instead of 2 armchairs
I really like this place. The host is very friendly and respond quickly. Clean and well equipped. First time live in a loft. Lots of stairs to get to bed. But I like it. The place is warmed up quickly after turn the radiator on. I only realised it’s I turned the light bulb on , which hanging between the two stables in the late evening. My apologies to the people who live in opposite sides. I was puzzled how it could be turned off. The location is very good. It’s between the Kildare Village and Emo Court. 10-15 minutes drive to both places. I am a foreigner, this place is actually quite a distant to Dublin. There is a very good Italian takeaway on the front street. Enjoyed a fish and chips there.
Everything went smoothly and the property did not disappoint, clean, comfortable and quirky. Also the owner was very pleasant. The fresh milk & scones were appreciated after a long drive.
Nothing really but would of enjoyed a few basic tv channels but still had Netflix.
Stunning property. Love the split level. So modern and comfortable.
Nothing
Such a lovely stay, albeit it was a short one. Lisa-Marie the owner was so nice and helpful to us, offering us a lift to the wedding we were attending close by when we couldn’t get a taxi (who’s numbers she also provided). The scones were absolutely delicious too!
Not applicable, everything was fantastic.
Very clean and just 10 minutes from Kildare village. It was also close to outstanding pizza outlet
The bathroom off the living room is not ideal but we understand the restrictions Again restricted by size seats were small. Could look at the curtain or blind situation in the bedroom..
Lovely property, well decorated, extremely clean. Good wifi. On street parking Really helpful host who left lovely welcome scones and was most helpful with restaurant recommendations in Naas. Facilitated check out at 12 due to foul weather. Would highly recommend. Also Hartes Gasto Pub in Naas excellent.
Beautiful converted stables situated in a very well kept secluded private courtyard. Very quiet location. Code for entry gate and key box sent via text on the morning of arrival. Hosts very polite and offered extra towels, coffee if needed. We stayed 3 nights while attending a local wedding. Comfortable double bed on mezzanine level. Walk in shower/wetroom/toilet on ground floor. Property centrally located in lovely Monasterevin and close to Grand Canal walks. Convenient pizza place around the corner for takeouts, along with local pubs. Enjoyed the lovely scones, with butter and jam provided! Free on street parking.
We would have liked a sofa instead of the 2 armchairs, but that's probably just us - the living space is not very large, so we can understand the reasoning for these. Small well equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, fridge, toaster) but would not suit someone who wants to cook a main meal on site. Small coffee table not very comfortable for eating our breakfast on.
Location was not what we expected difficult to find Lounge area uncomfortable small chairs sofa would have been better
Tv which you don’t have to have Netflix account to use
The property was fantastic. It was clean, cosy and comfortable and the grounds are well maintained. Lisa the host was very lovely and Im glad we got to meet her, she was never more than a phone call away if we needed help with anything and she was very accommodating and gave us great tips about the local area. We would definitely stay here again.
There was nothing that we didn't like about the property and if there was any issues I'm sure the host would've dealt with them swiftly.
What's not to love? This place has so much charm and is so nicely done--beautiful old stable renovated into a guest house with all the essentials--clean, comfortable, quite nice.
The only issue I encountered was that, on a very warm day, the upstairs is really hot, even with the provided fan running nonstop. There really needs to be a window that can open to let out some of that accumulated heat. Otherwise, the place is just lovely.
Property was lovely it was stunning
Bed was very uncomfortable and got no sleep, blinds weren’t great everyone can see in and the stable across could even see in our window, not enough blinds especially when trying to sleep in the morning, also no couch to sit on to relax to watch tv only 2 stools, also no parking so was nervous leaving my car down a road away from me, other than that place was lovely
It would be more comfortable if there were air conditioning for sleeping in the loft.
High standard of accommodation with attention to detail. The hosts were very focused on satisfying our requirements to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
Great bathroom. Home made scones a lovely touch.
Toilet had floor to ceiling windows looking straight into neighbouring property. Roof very low on stairs and bedroom.
It was a converted stables and everything was done to a high standard. Scones with cream and jam where left for us on arrival which was a nice touch!
There was no window that opened upstairs and it became very warm.
everything it’s just a little gem
nothing
