House is directly connected via a very thin wall with window to the neighbors. Also a light switch was shared…. Not very clean. One of the mattresses was worn so not a good night sleep for my daughter. We visit a lot of proporties via booking the past years and always a mark above 8 is a nice place to go to. Not this time.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026It was lovely, spacious and the hosts were amazing ❤️An added plus was that we could bring our dog. The property is 5 mins away from the closest beach and under 10 from a petrol station/shop that does great ice cream ❤️❤️We would have liked to know beforehand that it’s connected to another property but it wasn’t an issue and any guests that stayed in the other side were considerate.

Het was erg gedateerd, maar dat is op zich geen probleem. Het heeft een flinke schoonmaakbeurt nodig. Alles was groezelig. Ook het servies en kookgerei.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026As we arrived fairly late at night after an evening flight to Donegal and knew that all the local shops were shut, our hosts were kind enough to leave bread, butter and milk for us - which was great. We were also returning home on an evening flight, and as that night wasn't booked, our hosts allowed us to stay until late that afternoon rather than check out at the usual time - that was even more appreciated. We were in the area to spend time with a dying friend, so having the comforts of home as our base made all the difference.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025It was warm and near the village. Bed linen was pristine, and lots of towels in the bathroom.
It's part of a family home, so people walk by the accommodation a lot. Before travelling, I had asked if toiletries were included and was told yes, but they weren't, so we had to go to shops to purchase shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There was some hand soap in the bathroom, but the dispenser didn't work. No soap at the kitchen sink. The living space was quite clean but not perfect. Dust in wardrobes and tv screen dirty. Smart tv was provided, but no netflix as advertised. You needed to put in your own netflix code from home.

Flexible and let me stay an extra day. Very spacious and you have all you need.

Place is tricky to find without the location marker shown on this site. Currently does not appear on Goggle Maps. Where driving to this along R257 from the Southeast, there's a hill blocking one's view of the entrance, meaning it easy to miss if your not following a GPS. Also, the hill creates a block much of the right side where exiting the property, creating a risk.

We were given a tasty Christmas turkey with all the sides on Christmas day on top of our Christmas roast we made. Would highly recommend this place for any family for holiday in donegal.
