Wonderfully clean and fully equipped.
It ideal for a break
Was all good
Ideal location for what we wanted to do, spacious and modern property with all kitchen essentials included
Love the open view windows but to maybe invest in privacy window film for an added bit of privacy for people staying
Location is good, really liked outdoor seating with amazing view. Facilities were very clean and tidy , kitchen equipment is basic, but sufficient for making some food. WiFi is good.
We felt a bit squeezed - place is so small, a few more bits to keep our stuff organised would be nice- like shelves, some hangers
Beautiful pod. Everything you need .

Fantastic pod, with amazing views. Really quiet and comfortable. Easy to get the keys. Weather was unusually great during my stay, so waking up to those views was really fantastic. Spotlessly clean.
one suggestion for improvement... I wear glasses, and have terrible eyesight... if there was a light that was switchable from the bed, it would really help... trying to find my specs in the dark was challenging :-)
The view was amazing 🤩
Everything
A sign for the property would be ideal.
The location is first class was perfect for me as a solo traveller touring the wild atlantic way . Takeaways shops and bars all close
Cute little pod that generally has everything required and for our small family it was a good size for 2 nights. Easy self check in. Good price. Beautiful surroundings, bunnies hopping around the bay during low tide and cows freely grazing.
The only thing I can think of is that there was no sponge for washing dishes but there was washing liquid so we bought our own since we were making dinner in the air fryer and used the kettle often. Likely an oversight. Otherwise everything was great. We would gladly come back.
the view, and your own kitchen in a way
a lot of things. was hard to find as there is no signs for the place and the eircode doesn’t work on google maps right, lead us to the wrong place. We thought it was going to be a private pod but was full of houses around us with very nosey neighbours that would constantly stare over or stare in as they would walk by the pod making us feel unwelcome. the heat was our main problem as there are NO cooling systems just 3 tiny windows and the main door. as it’s a steel shed it gets very hot so would be concerned for children if they were to stay for long inside this pod. was a basic pod far from luxury and pictures mislead to make it seem it was very private with no surrounding neighbours and bit bigger of a pod. was not worth the money wouldn’t stay again or recommend in my opinion.
I took this break to have peace and quiet, walk, think, dream, relax. It ticked all those boxes. Beautiful location, lovely walks, comfy and cosy pod. There is a small friendly supermarket nearby, was able to buy good food and the pod has a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and air fryer. I needed to do a little bit of work, the wifi was good. The outside seating area was bliss, nice and warm and sheltered from the wind with a great view. Perect place for touring the magnificent Donegal area. Literally a breath of fresh air.
It was hard to find, google maps did not recognize the eircode. There is no sign at all on the property, to let you know you have arrived. While it was comfy and I had everything I needed, I would describe it as basic rather than luxury. No hairdryer
Had everything needed for a short trip, comfortable bed and spacious. Location is perfect - so scenic and amazing views. Clean and tidy.
Lock on door can be a bit difficult to close.
The location is beautiful and it is a great spot to come back to after a day out exploring. Mount Erigal and Glenveigh National Park are a short drive. There a number of lovely beaches within driving distance too
The provisions were a bit limited, for example, there was no tea bags or milk sachets provided. The door was quite difficult to lock however it does eventually work. It was not advertised that there was an air fryer and microwave available - if we had known that we would have brought food to cook, especially as the local restaurants are extremely limited and were disappointing.
It was clean and cosy. Amazing views and local amenities. Private outside space, Errigle is very close if you are feeling energetic. Will definitely be back.
There is nothing I didn’t like but feel a small fan would be beneficial as it can get toasty.
We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation over the weekend! The place was incredibly pleasant, with a breathtaking view of nature and a serene, peaceful atmosphere. Its location is perfect for relaxation, being just a short drive to the beach. It’s an ideal spot to unwind and disconnect from everything. We truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it for a tranquil getaway!
The only downside was the cleanliness, which could have been better.
We liked everything... Location, Views, Comfortable and Cosy... Great for a couple of nights
No soft Lighting (ambience) A few bits missing... Hairdryer and extra towels

Beautiful location. The pod we stayed in I couldn’t of asked for better so comfortable with everything we needed.I will definitely go back again.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
Great stunning location and very cosy. Added bonus with kitchen facilities.
Really cosy, had an air fryer and a microwave
The heater makes noise 😞
very relaxing comfortable pod beside the water so great view lots to explore and host was friendly and helpful a must go
Easy to locate the keys from the lock box as we received clear instructions. The pod was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean with gorgeous views. We didn’t see the owners, but they responded quickly by email if we needed anything. Gorgeous beach which you can walk to or drive to and we loved Glenveagh National Park which was was just 15 mins drive away. Teac Jack in Glassagh served lovely food.
Maybe better instructions on finding the property as the sat nav didn’t take us straight there. The road to take is the first right after the sports centre.
Pod is warm cosy and comfortable..a perfect location for our walks ☺️
Location, cleanliness, comfort and response time from owner
Whilst coffee and sugar were provided, strangely there was no tea or milk and no shower materials. The owner claimed that 'most people brought their own' .... this is certainly not our experience with all the bookings we have done previously... and our following two in Derry and Sligo provided a very generous welcome packs. We hope the owner takes this on board so that future pod visitors feel more welcomed!
Love the views, that's the first thing I see ❤️ Location is great, close to the beaches, the Errigal mountain, etc... The pod is cosy, comfortable, warm... You have main appliances like kettle, microwave, airfryer 🙂 Hope to come back next year again.

The description described 1 bedroom and a living room but in reality this was all one room with the bed in one corner and a sofa bed in the other. This is one studio room. The ‘kitchenette’ doesn’t have a hob, just a sink, kettle and microwave and fridge freezer so we were unable to cook anything. The parking space was too tight to manoeuvre our car into Whilst technically we could have a bed for our family of 4, it was extremely tight, we had to move the coffee table in front of the door in order to open up the sofa bed & there wasn’t enough room for our suitcases with the beds out. This was quite expensive and definitely anything but luxury
Good location, very nice place. Enough fir 2 adults and 2 kids.good value
Everything was fine, very nice people.
We absolutely loved our stay here, it was so secluded away from any hustle and bustle. The perfect escape! Absolutely loved being able to check in and check out ourselves. The view from the pod was incredible and the beaches around this location were honestly like paradise! The pod itself was immaculate. The bed was SOOO comfy and the kitchenette was the perfect bonus so we were able to make food ourselves.
Everything was convenient. Shops, diner and a really nice pub . The beaches ⛱ are stunning but you need to have transport to enjoy your holiday and venture about........!
I'm still thinking....................................... .............. !0
Pod is situated on the waters edge,so views are fab. Quite easy to find and all the data we needed for keys etc,was already in our possession due to the host correspondence. Bed,shower, etc were top class. Would return again..
Nothing to do with Pod or host or location but the weather was atrocious and we didn’t get out and about much. Not to worry..
Very pretty interior and lovely location, a short walk to the strand.
For a wintertime stay it was a little small but would be perfect in the warmer weather.
The pod had everything we needed and more. There was an Airfryer, microwave, heating, shower with instant hot water and bed was very comfortable. Host was very attentive and very quick to answer any queries or questions.

Comfortabel bed and everthing new, nice location
No heating!
Nice location.
Beds were comfortable. Loved the views. Location was perfect.
Loved it all but maybe a microwave would be handy
The property was cosy yet had all amenities for a lovely weekend. Bed was comfy, bathroom facilities were better than expected and the scenery was to die for.
Large French doors / windows facing out onto the tidal inlet with the back drop of Errigal was a wonderful sight to behold from the comfort of a cosy bed.
Cosy accommodation for 2 and access to Netflix
We'd really have liked cafetiere to make coffee plus some cooking facilities eg small microwave or hob.
Very new and clean.
Bed was quite high, need a step to get on to it! A teapot would be a good addition.
The pod was new, clean and well thought out for a small space. The view of the water was lovely and the location was nice and quiet. Though small, it worked out perfectly for our family of 4.
Can’t think of any improvements
Love the newness

Great modern accommodation, comfortable for 4 adults, great shower.
Very nice and clean accommodation. Well maintained. Perfect for a couple as well for family
Microwave oven would be helpful
As typical Irish people, we absolutely love Donegal, so any opportunity to stay there, we take it! Normally we would stay in a hotel, but we thought we would try a pod for the first time, and the experience was magical. The Pod was perfect, it was exactly what we needed it to be. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved how close it was to the beach and the pub / restaurant was less than 10 minutes driving (probably 20 minutes if you walked). It had a fantastic view, and lovely garden furniture to sit outside and enjoy it. I couldn’t fault the information provided inside (numbers for taxis, number for the doctor, local places to visit etc.), and having access to a smart tv was brilliant for when we came back in between sight seeing, and before we went to bed. We loved that we were somewhat secluded, and weren’t surrounded by lots of other people, which meant we could enjoy each other’s company in a more intimate / romantic setting, like we were in our own world or bubble. I have already passed the link for the pod on to a number of family members and friends!
It was a bit hard to find initially, but once we knew where it was we could make our way back without a problem. The cover for the garden furniture was a bit hard to get on when in rained.
We had a brilliant staff at the Donegal Luxury Pod! It was extremely comfortable, very clean and a clever use of space. Loved the seating outside too. The view was gorgeous and a delight to wake up to. Perfect for our short stay with all the amenities we needed. Communication was great from the owners with all the information provided before our arrival. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
Fabulous location. Very clean and very well appointed.
Perfect location and comfortable.
Nothing-was fantastic
Fantastic location next to river estuary overlooking mountains. Close to beaches, ferry to island, local shops and pubs. Everything new, clean, fresh
Nothing. Microwave would help, perhaps
