The location is excellent. There is a ample parking right outside th front door and it is very quiet at night. Sneem village is lovely with a couple of good pubs and an excellent cafe. The property was clean enough and had all the facilities you might expect.

There are two showers both don't drain very well and you don't have to use them for too long to be up to your ankles in water. The living room floor isn't dirty but for some reason feels very sticky.

A short walk from the village. The first 20 meters are along the road,but after that, you are on the footpath all the way in. The house itself has everything you might need. Bedrooms are very spacious.

The sofas are well used and dated.

Great location and ample parking within walking distance of the village of Sneem. The property had everything we needed in terms of towels, dishes etc, for the stay.

The floors were sticky from whatever cleaning fluid was used, causing our shoes, socks and even the chairs to stick to the floor. The seats were also damp, either from lack of airing or whatever cleaning fluid was used. The space could be made a lot more cosy for sitting and chatting or watching tv with some uplighting or lamps as the two overhead lights did nothing for the space. Also, given the Irish weather, the TV really could do with an upgrade to allow screencasting from mobile devices. We spent way too long on our first night, trying to pair devices only to give up in frustration.

Location great, just a short walk to the village, the first 50m has no footpath or street lighting, but we had a flash lamp and hiviz vests and that was fine... in the summer time the road may be a little more busy, but it will be bright.

This property was very spacious and comfortable for just 2 people. The parking is good and it is an easy walk to the village (even at night in October drizzle - just the first 20 m without footpath) it was good to have a washing machine and dryer. The heating was very efficient as it was a little chilly. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

It is a little dated and tired in places although this didn’t worry us once we settled in. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and a little washing powder. So we didn’t have to buy all this for a couple of cups of tea and a load of washing.

Easy to find and within walking distance of the town. The property was clean, minimalist but with all that was needed. Heating very efficient😀 and plenty of very hot water, shower was fab.

Pillows and double mattress needed replacing 🤔 apart from that all good 😃

It is perfectly located for trips on Ring of Kerry/Dingle/Beara. Sneem is a cosy village with great pubs, and you get everything that you need, including good restaurants. Our favourite pub/bar was Riney's bar and beergarden, and they serve great pizzas. The cottage has got everything you need. It's spacious and has a nice place for BBQ and garden.

Nice location with local village only a 5 minute walk away, and property was very clean and all the amenities such as washing machine, cooker ,dishwasher etc in good working condition.

The sofa and armchairs were very low and could do with being a bit firmer.

L'emplacement est top pour voyager dans le Kerry. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une salle de bain attenante pour chacune. La cuisine équipée. La vue sur les montagnes par temps clair est très jolie ! Bon séjour

Wir haben uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden, weil wir den Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara und Slea Head Drive machen wollten. Sehr nette Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist das süße Örtchen Sneem quasi fussläufig erreichbar. Es war sehr schön, der Garten drumherum hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen- sehr malerisch.

Küchenzubehör, wie Schneebesen, Nudelsieb und tiefe Teller fehlten. Der Toilettendeckel im unteren Bad ist defekt- besser nicht drauf setzen.;-)

How local it was to sneem town.. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay.. Very rustic cottage vibes..

Garden could have been a little bit more maintained so the kids could have explored it more..

Location is great for bar/ restaurant. House is spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return to sneem and Mary's Cottage.

Instructions for cooker/ hob/ washing machine + tumble dryer would have been helpful. Sieve or colander/ few clothes washing tablets/ powder would be useful.

We loved everything about it. We would come again.

Mary's cottage was spacious and clean and extremely easy to walk to town - even if you had to dodge dome traffic over the bridge. Our rooms were large with plenty of space to put suitcases. Big bonus

Fabulous location and views. Warm welcome and helpful hosts. Lovely cottage with excellent showers and plenty of space.

The kitchen lacked a few of the basics. It’s the only place we have stayed with absolutely no basic items e.g. cooking oil, tea, coffee. These would just make the difference to an otherwise wonderful stay.

We really appreciate our stay at Mary's cottage, the location was perfect to make the ring of Kerry. As a family of 5 it was perfect for us. The kitchen has everything you need. Highly recommended

The views from the bedrooms took our breath away. The kitchen had everything we needed (though some cooking oil would’ve been nice). The kids loved exploring the garden with all its plants and frogs, and we loved the barbecue. The town is great and pretty accessible (only a short stint of walking on the road, and then pavements the rest of the way). Loads of good shops, public art and places to eat – be sure to check out the sculpture trail and the playground! OSheas had some great music and St Michael’s has some good stained glass as well. About half hour down the road to the Derrynane beach if you find some sun. All around a lovely spot.

Had to clean the barbecue, but it wasn’t too difficult.

The quietness and views

The kindness of Evert and Joyce, the gorgeous garden, the comfort of the cottage, the absolute beauty of the cost, the friendly attitude of Irish people and also the position of the Mary's Cottage, close to the pitoresque village of Sneem, made our 15 yourney unforgettable. Higly recommended and thank you again!

Plenty of space. Warm. Good shower. Great view. In walking distance of Sneem pubs and shops.

Only minor quibble was the curious absence of both a teapot and coffee facility!

Very clean and comfortable and close to amenities.

No TV in the rooms. And very close to a sharp bend. It was scary driving out. Cars were in so much speed at the bend in front of the house.

Door lock need to be looked at. Only one entrance and exit. Very hard to open with key needs to be fixed
