Gerne wieder.
Perfect location for what we needed
Location, peace and quiet, very comfortable and friendly
Liked everything
Plenty of space and lots of charm too. The host was welcoming and ensured there was milk in the fridge. Very important.
Lloc tranquil·líssim situat en un entorn molt agradable. Molt còmode i ben equipat. Amfitriona encantadora.
Res, tot estava molt bé.
Lovely and friendly host. Very calming, peaceful view and atmosphere😇 Sheep and cows grazing in green fields... There is a guide book in the living room and I highly recommend to use it to find places of interest.
Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Has all the comforts you need while away from home. And a great location. Owners were lovely and so welcoming with lots of info and freshly baked scones were a nice treat. I'd highly recommend this to anyone.
House is ok
The property owner’s attitude was not good and she argued with us. The reason was that when we checked out, the owner asked why we used two rooms and said that since we were only two people, we should have used only one room. She said that because of this she would have to clean the extra room and change the bedsheets. She also claimed that there were more than two people staying, even though we were only two. She mentioned that one car was outside the house and one was inside. Why should we share our personal life? If the property was booked through Booking.com, it is their responsibility to take IDs from guests, not anyone else’s. We are very disappointed.
Very cosy and great space
Comfortable and compact
Driveway a bit tight
Comfortable, cozy, private
What a lovely lovely stay. Hazel was amazing, she met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour, she made us some homemade scones that were absolutely delicious. We were going to a wedding that night and Hazel offered to come in and put the heating on for us coming back, so sweet.
There is very little i can fault, Decor was a little dated, but it didn't bother us at all.
Exelent
All good
The location is great for the neighbouring towns Ballybofey and Stranorlar only 15 minutes from letterkenny, Hazel the host was fantastic helped me out with directions offering area codes which was fantastic, there was tea, sugar, coffee and milk available on arrival. Hazel also made home made scones which is a great personal touch, the bungalow is spacious has WiFi, television, all kitchen appliances. The bed was very comfortable had a great sleep, great shower and is also in a great location.
Everything was great, Hazel cannot help enough and advised me I could call with any problems. There was no problems with the accommodation, it is bright roomy and clean and very comfortable.
Accommodation was warm, welcoming, peaceful and very comfortable. We had a great nights stay and set us up for a great day at work. Hazel, the host, was a brilliant host, leaving us some goodies and essentials and helped us with anything we needed!
Accommodation is very outdated but this was part of the charm. Shower could be a bit stringer but still did the job! Comfy and we had a great nights stay.

Excellent home. Fabulous fresh scones made by our host. The house is kitted out either everything. Not too long of a walk into town. A beautiful area. I was in the Gaeltacht nearby and it was fantastic.
I loved the warm welcome I arrived early and owner brought milk eggs and home baked scones The views were wonderful and so quiet and peaceful I had my choice of two rooms and opted for the double and had a really good nights sleep Will definitely return in my next trip to the area
Nothing
Great location with a beautiful view. Host Hazel was lovely meeting us with milk and scones
T.v is a little small for a family
Location was excellent - quiet rural setting. Hazel was very welcoming and provided us with a tour of the accommodation to show where everything was. Lots of useful info on-site regarding where to eat and sights to see in the local area.
We had no complaints at all.
This was the cutest little stay! Such a lovely little Irish stay, the owner was overly helpful and kind and even left us fresh baked scones and bread and milk ❤️ so comfy and in such a lovely quiet location!! 10/10
Nothing everything was amazing
Luogo incantevole e tranquillo! La simpatia della proprietaria e la sua disponibilità lo rendono ancora migliore
Nulla
It was great. Everything I needed. Very comfortable. The owner was very nice. She even left me down fresh home baked scones! They were delicious.
Nothing. All was good
Washing machine and dryer were very useful. Thrre were hand-made cakes and marmelade.
No WIFI
The bungalow was very comfortable, warm & welcoming. Hazel made us fresh homemade scones, a lovely touch ❤️. We would love to return in the future.
Great country side feel. Cozy and nice small home.
Interiors are quite old which is ok but WiFi was missing because of which kids were kind of bored as TV was too small to see anything.
Wonderful. Owners were amazing. It was a delightful night’s stay. Couldn’t have asked for more!! Hope to return again 😃
Not that we didn’t like but no WiFi. Actually added to the experience-getting away from it all 🙂
Despite the pouring rain Trevor came to meet us, armed with homemade scones. He put the kettle on then proceeded to show us around :) There were provisions for us in the well equipped kitchen. The Bungalow had all we could possibly need, including washing machine & dryer. Beds were comfy, shower nice & hot. Lovely to look out the window and see the cows & the sheep in the pasture which belongs to Trevor & Hazel.
The host Hazel was marvellous- genuine hospitality! The bungalow was spotless with all the required amenities for an enjoyable stay. Very comfortable bed, hot shower with good water pressure, VERY clean and gorgeous view of the meadow. Quiet and relaxing.
Hazel was a wonderful host. The living area and bedrooms were very clean. Hazel was very accommodating, even picking us up from the bus station upon our arrival. She also made me brown bread and left us enough pantry items to keep us going. Very safe neighborhood with farm animals across the street.
The location was farther from the main road than expected and it was quite narrow for walking. The shower had some issues which we reported .
I absolutely adored this detached little bungalow set in it's own pretty garden and surrounded by gorgeous meadows just outside the bustling town of Balleybofey - which has everything you could possibly need. The Bungalow is like the Tardis...surprisingly spacious and light with lovely views from the lounge and bedrooms. And it's a Period Piece of 1970's Vintage Cool! The building and furniture are both groovy, nostalgic, charming, functional and extremely comfortable. I loved the pink bathroom suite! This place is an absolute gem. I was touring the West of Ireland with my motorbike and it was a joy to return to such a peaceful and cosy home after a long day in the saddle! Hazel the host (who lives nearby) is warm, friendly and helpful and bakes rhubarb scones - delicious! The rural setting is some way from the coast but its' central location in Co Donegal means you can head off to explore a completely different coastal and mountain area each day...including Northern Ireland, the border being only a few miles away.
I liked everything about it. I wish I could give it 11 stars...it was my idea of Perfection!
Hazel was very kind, ans she was there exactly when we agreed to be at the place to give us the keys. She was very welcoming and gave us a detailed summary of the place and the surrounding area to make our stay as comfortable and smooth as possible. She also brought us freshly baked scones which were delicious, thank you very much for everything Hazel!
Really lovely place, felt so homey. The host was absolutely amazing, so welcoming. We will definitely be coming back again.
loved the quiet relaxing accommodations-sheep in the field-our host brought us homemade scones fresh from the oven! and we got to see the baby lambs!!! excellent spot
Lovely place
Loved the location, only minutes from the town and easy walkable. The hosts were just excellent and the gift of home made scones a lovely little touch.
Internet not available, but perfect if you want to get away from it all.
Our host were there to meet us and the property was warm and welcoming.
Nothing I can think of.
Very well-kept home with everything that you could need.
The host is so kind! We arrived at so late time, and after I called her, she came to house so quick and opened the gate for us. The house is so clean and beautiful, the host even provided her homemade jelly and scone for us! It’s really nice and delicious! She even has a book to introduce the good spot around area. Highly recommend stay here for one more night!
The bungalow was very cosy. The kids liked looking at the sheep and cows from the window. The hosts were very helpful navigating us to the bungalow. And they brought us fresh scones when we arrived.
I loved the host and the easy communication. She went the extra mile for us and made it feel like home for the night! The scenery was beautiful with easy links to shops and things to do yet in a peaceful location
The fact we didn't stay longer!
Wonderful warm welcome I a gorgeous setting
Tranquil setting, had everything I needed and the host was very accommodating. Fresh scones on arrival were a welcome bonus.
We were greeted by the kind and friendly hosts. This lovely bungalow was the perfect base to explore beautiful Donegal.
In a peaceful location with access to shops, a 5 minute drive away. Hazel was there to greet us, and we had a great chat. 2 bedroom house with all the facilities that we required. Will definitely be back again. If staying in Donegal, it's in a very central location.

The Bungalow is just perfect it has everything you need. We stayed here as we had a family wedding in Ballybofey. Hazel is an exceptional host when we got there she had lovely fresh scones there for us which was a lovely touch. We decided we would leave our car at our accommodation before going to the hotel for the wedding and Hazel kindly offered to drive us into town. The house was clean, warm comfortable, towels provided lots of toiletries there to use. Also tea coffee milk biscuits cereal there also. House perfect and an incredibly kind and helpful host in Hazel
Absolutely nothing this accommodation was perfect and completely met our needs.
We loved it. Our host was so kind and it was everything we hoped it would be! The folder of tourist locations to visit was super helpful as well!
Calm and quiet environment.homely feeling
Hospitality was excellent
It was spacious and well equipped. Lovely and tranquil area. Hazel was a marvellous host.
Nothing
We chose this accommodation because the Donegal rally was nearby and we wanted to have peace and a good night's sleep in the evening, which was definitely not possible in Letterkenny last weekend.Thank you Hazel for welcoming us with homemade scones and showing us how we should, for example, if it was cold in the evening - heating and other things around the accommodation
Had everything I needed and some great views of the mountains!
Nothing
Perfect location for our need. Clean and good space. Lovely host always welcoming.
Spacious house, surrounded by rolling green hills and a working farm. Friendly, knowledgeable host, tasty scones and well-equipped kitchen. If we come back we’d love to stay here again. There’s so much to see and do in Donegal and this house is in an ideally central location.
Lovely place to stay greeted by Trevor on arrival and shown around the property. Loved the scones on arrival and he had the kettle on for us . Will highly recommend and will return again . Great scenery around the place
We thought the location was very nice, although the property itself was in need of a bit of decorating it was clean enough to be comfortable and the beds were excellent. We had the use of a washing machine and dryer! very much appreciated.
Spacious, lots of free facilities , nice staff customer service, neat and clean, with full kitchen facility , it was wao
Little about location without car you can make it well.
I booked this for my parents. They had a lovely few days away.
All was good, maybe a little updating wouldn't go a miss, but definitely would book again.
Peace and quite whilst the the lanscape shouted towards the gap
That we couldnt stay longer
Nice and quiet place to stay for a weekend while traveling around north of Ireland, close to Letterkenny and Londonderry. Thank you for warm welcome . Place was clean . Would definitely visit again if around that area.
This is a great little place. Very well situated and with an amazing view. The accommodation was really comfortable, clean and very cozy. Was travelling with my 2 teenage kids and they loved it. Owners were very welcoming and were great hosts. Great people to deal with. Will definitely book again and would gladly recommend it to anyone.
Everything
No internet in the property and it was difficult for the whole family.
Nice bungalow, 2 bedrooms 3 beds 1bath… well equipped kitchen, hot showers. The owner met us. She had some eggs & scones for us which was really nice. Coffee & tea available… and yes, a washing machine was available but we did not use it. Highly recommended ! Great for families 😀
Nothing
Great view over to the Barnesmore Gap. Wonderfully quiet and a lovely host. We will be back!
Quiet loation and comfort.

The scenery was amazing to wake up to every morning was so peaceful and serene. It was calming And relaxing could not have picked a better place
Loved it all there was nothing I did not like.
Peace and quiet
Price for 1 person little expensive
Classy vintage decor within the bungalow which is very peaceful with an excellent location and nearby the Main Street. Hazel and Trevor were very kind and helpful, me and my partner had an amazing time. Will definitely be back!
Warm welcome with homemade pancakes, milk, eggs from the farm. Hazel is very kind and helpful. Cottage in the middle of wild Donegal nature. We enjoyed.
The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal location and couldn’t ask for nicer hosts
Lovely Stay. Lovely scones and kettle boiled upon arrival. Met by host upon check out couldn't beany nicer
Set amongst fantastic views . Everything as described. Hazel the host more than helpful and pleasant. Lovely homemade scones on arrival.
Washing machine very useful Hosts very helpful
It's like a time- warp - much of furniture etc c1960 - I was around then so I know! Needs updating but we were comfortable & enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location. Excellent hosts. The scones were lovely. They must be tried.
Nothing to do with the property or the hosts. The weather could have been kinder, but it much as we expected. It didn't stop us doing anything.
