a really minor niggle, but there were rather too many reminders about the expectations of me as a customer. Having said that, the communication about the booking was very good.

An extra sentence in the instructions for the lock box about pressing the bottom button would have been helpful. we were waiting a few minutes for a response to our call when we couldn't open the box

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The lodge was exceptionally lovely! Perfect in every way. It had every facility one would need away from home. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and EXTREMELY spacious! Bed was very comfortable. Zero noise from the property or outside, so very peaceful and relaxing to stay at. Excellent location, close to Trim, but also very accessible to other amazing sights in the county. Shower was perfect temperature and pressure, and the cubicle was roomy. Bathroom was very clean and looked beautifully maintained. The living room/kitchen area was extremely well kitted out, and relaxing to sit in. All modern conveniences were available and in perfect working order. I can't find anything negative to say about the lodge. Ian, the host, communicated well in advance to give us the property codes and was very friendly and helpful. Sadly we didn't get to meet him in person, but he replied to messages very quickly. Parking area was spacious and secure.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location was great, with easy access into Trim and a lovely little pub just a short walk up the road. The apartment itself was lovely and had all the facilities we needed. There was also a charming little courtyard where we could sit outside and enjoy breakfast. We had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay, and will definitely recommend and go back.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Lovely clean property, warm spacious and well presented. Location was quiet and tranquil. We enjoyed the large amount of starlings every morning on the cables above. We haven’t seen that many in such a long time. It’s good to have an allocated parking spot so no worry’s in parking. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We even enjoyed the chats with the other people staying. No complaints from us at all.
There really wasn’t anything to dislike.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026The apartments were great - really good spaces, and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of appliances included for your own cooking. Showers were excellent with hot water and good water pressure. We were visiting Trim so it was ideal as it was only a ten minute drive down the road, and there was plenty of parking, including dedicated spots for each lodge.
Nothing stood out, we were a group of seven staying across four lodges and everyone was delighted with the quality of the accommodation, particularly for the very reasonable price.

The bathroom and shower were spotlessly clean and the bedroom was very comfortable with additional storage. I will definitely stay again 5 star's.

Totally safe. Every single box was ticked here. I was doing 4th year Veterinary Placement at Lisadell Equine Hospital and Location for my Lodgings was spot on. A total chill out after busy days.
