It’s perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed. Clean, tidy, warm and felt spacious. We would have liked to stay longer. Good to have parking as well.

Proximity to Dundalk town centre is just a 6 minute drive in morning traffic. Location is quiet. A little pub underneath for an evening pint. There is a shop and chippy also right beside it. Room is spacious and comfortable as is the kitchen and dining area with a comfortable sofa and TV. Breakfast cereals/ toast / orange juice being readily available is an added bonus. Very good shower.

It was clean cozy and comfy the pub downstairs has excellent guiness and warm friendly staff. a pretty little village and excellent value for money host was quick to answer communications everything you need is there shower gel towels and the bits available for breakfast toast ceral orange juice milk butter jam tea and coffee were great we only spent one night but I would definitely return again if ever staying in dundalk very happy customers the little shop off the pub has bits you might like . Bed was warm and comfy and the little book explaing the history of the building was nice to read 5 stars all round

Nothing negative to say I noted other reviews mentioned noise from the pub we didn't notice it but we had a few drinks and games of pool in the pub before bed so wasn't an issue for us

Lovely compact upstairs 1 bedroom apartment, clean, nicely furnished/decorated with full cooking facilities & accessories & TV /WiFi Bed very comfortable with ensuite. Staff very helpful & friendly. Notified us that we left a kindle behind and were very helpful.in helping arrange it's collection the following day . We used as a base prior to attending a wedding in Carlingford approx 25 mins away. Disappointed not to be able to visit the local Knocbridge Vintage show - it looked well organised & attended with a wide variety of things to do/see. Local people were extremely friendly & helpful to us Would recommend.

It was great overall! One of us was gluten-free and as breakfast was provided, they kindly bought a gluten-free loaf and were very accommodating. The location was very handy for Darver Castle, where we were attending a wedding. The owner was lovely and very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We would definitely stay again!

We have stayed here before so we knew how charming it was. Paddy is very friendly and welcoming and the property is spotless and extremely comfortable.

The takeaway next door was closed for summer holidays and we were starving, not having eaten since breakfast on the ferry, but that just meant a 4km drive to the next village for a takeaway.

Beautiful apartment it has ever thing you need. Was attending a wedding in Darver Castle so it was easy to get a taxi, the host was very helpful. Would definitely recommend 👌

Fantastic spacious and well appointed apartment next to a very good pub (Guinness was top notch) and very friendly and helpful host. The village also had a good shop. Special thanks to the owner for accommodating my changing schedule and letting me take my bike into the apartment. Hope to come back. Recommended!!

So convenient as we were at a wedding at Darver Castle. Only 9 mins away. Easy to get taxi back Great breakfast foods left in rooms . Staff very helpful. All queries an d needs met.

Great host, lovely big apartment which was well equipped and having the bar downstairs was a real bonus. It was such a friendly place to spend an evening

Mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable. It is situated at quite a busy crossroads so there's a fair amount of traffic noise

Host very helpful we were attending wedding in Riverbank guesthouse and Con gave us phone numbers for taxi and bus - Appartment very clean and comfortable

Breakfast was basic but adequate- there was a Deli near by where hor food available. Fire escape light on at night in both rooms prefer no lights 6 J

The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. Warm and friendly greeting and everything we were looking for. Kitchen was well equipped and breakfast items were simple but of good quality.

The apartment is above a bar. We were told there may be a little noise but it would quieten down after 10pm. However, this was not the case and the voices and chair scraping continued until 2am. Our main issue was the bed. It was a thin, cheap mattress which made comfortable sleep impossible. I had cramp all night and slept fitfully off and on, having to keep turning over to relieve pressure on my limbs. My husband gave up and slept on the sofa. Thankfully there was a quilt he was able to use.

Network was a bit challenging

El apartamento estaba muy limpio, fácilmente accesible en coche y con la posibilidad de aparcarlo junto a aquél. Además, tenía comida para el desayuno -leche, cereales, pen, mermelada, ...-.

Por poner un inconveniente, sería que se escucha el ruido del pub que está justo debajo, pero hay que decir que la clientela no era nada escandalosa.

Apartamento muy limpio y amplio,con todo lo necesario. Con aparcamiento al lado .A diez minutos de Dundalk.

Our second time visiting , love the location as we hired a car so the location was perfect , had a perfect stay again , the appartment has everything you need , the bed is comfortable.

Everything in the apartment was high quality, comfortable beds, cosy duvets, lovely towels and kitchen facilties. We were at a wedding in Darver, when we got home the heat was on for us so we really cosy. Slept great. Con is such a lovely host.

We liked absolutely everything. All the cosy touches the Christmas tree was amazing. Staff Niamh so welcoming. Facilities available next to none. Beds very cosy and apartment so warm. Thank you for an amazing stay. Will definitely revisit

It is an amazing place with a lovely Con he is so friendly and helpful we didn't need anything to buy There was bread, milk, jam, corn flakes,oat, butter,tea and coffee It was a lovely and very clean place I asked for an extra bed as I thought it would not fit us 2 adults and 2 kids But the bed and the sofa bed was really enough he didn't charge me for the extra bed It is very big with everything you need toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, hair spray and hair gel It is very big and comfortable and anytime I am coming to Dundulk I will stay there Thanks so much for everything Con

A little noisy at times with the road and pub. We turned down all the rads as it was very warm and couldn't really open the windows for air as the noise was too load from traffic.

The apartment was so well equipped and every detail had been thought about. Beds were extremely comfy and the apartment was very spacious.

It was large, clean and inviting. There was a nice selection of breakfast foods and the fridge was stocked with juice milk and butter.

I did not know how to use the coffee machine.

Dieser Urlaub war genau dass, was wir uns für eine Familie mit Kindern vorgestellt hatten.Ein kleines Apartment und kein Zimmer in einem Hotel mit straffen Essenzeiten. Hier komnten wir uns selbstversorgen und jedes der Kinder isagt, dass irgendwann, dass sie Hunger haben und da kann man schnell was zubreiten. Die Ausstattung hatte alles was ein Haushalt benötigt. Die Einrichtung war klassich ländlich und besonders bequeme Betten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundiich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Zimmers war perfekt an der Kreuzung, denn dies war immer der Ausgangspunkt für diverse Trips. Im grossen und ganzen ein perfekter Urlaub für unsere Familie.

Der Backofen war leider überhaupt nicht sauber. Hier hätten wir nichts kochen wollen. Es gibt in beiden Räumen ein grünes Notausgangschild, welches die ganze Nacht leuchtet. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Very clean appartment, very comfy beds and couch. Wi Fi was patchy. No issues at all contacting host. Washing machine was not in the appartment itself but accessible. Quiet. Great to have OJ, milk, butter in fridge, cereals, jam. tea and coffee supplied. No difficulties, nice break.

With a family we had room to relax and all the cooking facilities. Shop nearby. Beds very comfortable. We loved the seating area with table outside for the family to play board games in the evening sun.

The green fire exit light was very bright at night, but I know this can't be helped as it was a fire exit.

One of the best stays I've had. The photos on Booking.com don't do the place justice, it's a lot nicer. All the kitchen facilities you need including an Airfryer! We booked just as a place to rest our heads but will be sure to come visit again.

The only thing I could fault was the bed. It was comfortable but a bit noisy if you made any movement.

Spotlessly clean, well stocked with everything we needed

Unfortunately the bed in apartment 2 wasn’t very comfortable and every time we moved it made a noise so I’m afraid we didn’t get much sleep

Our first stop bikepacking from Dublin to Edinburgh. We were surprised at how large the place was, nice little backyard where we could relax after the day riding. Great to be able to get a beer from next door as well. We cooked up a delicious meal using the kitchen.

We cooked pasta, would have loved a to drain the pasta in a colander. This was such a minor thing, otherwise a perfect kitchen to cook food in.

Lovely and homely got everything you need, for cleaning and cooking. Bar with entertainment if you like a little drink. The owner Con great gentleman. Would stay again.

Room 3 is beautifully decorated and comfortable.

We booked two apartments and the two apartments were absolutely beautiful and clean. We had everything we could ask for and could need. They were both very very spacious and well maintained. It was almost perfect.

The only thing we did not like was that it was above a bar and we could hear the noise from our room very easily. Now I must say that we go to bed early and rise early so if you don't go to bed early this should not be a problem. This was only a very small problem but maybe on a weekend it could be worse

Die Wohnung war stilvoll eingerichtet und verfügte über alle notwendigen Dinge, die man bei einem Aufenthalt benötigt.

Das Außengelände sowie der Ausblick aus den Fenstern war nicht schön. Es sah ungepflegt und schmutzig aus. Teilweise ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig - beispielsweise im der Dusche oder in der Küche.
