Great location, quiet area within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, supermarket, beaches etc. The place felt more spacious than what's shown in the pictures. Very comfortable and so appreciated that they let us bring our dog :) nice and welcoming hosts!

Die Wohnung sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Sie ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Alles ist vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Küche ist besonders gut ausgestattet. Der Willkommensgruß mit Wein, Kaffee und frischem Obst war auch sehr nett. Der Balkon ist ein Highlight. Man kann dort sitzen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Der Blick auf den Garten und den Pool ist wunderbar. Es ist ein perfekter Platz, um zu entspannen. Das Schlafzimmer hat eine sehr gute, offensichtlich neue Matratze (Härtegrad 3), die nicht durchgelegen ist. Auch die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer ist mehr als nur eine Notlösung: Sie hat einen richtigen Lattenrost und zusätzlich gibt es eine weitere Couch, die ebenfalls zum Sitzen oder Schlafen genutzt werden kann. Damit ist die Wohnung auch für bis zu 6 Personen gut geeignet. Der Garten und der Pool sind ausgesprochen gepflegt. Für Familien gibt es sogar einen kleinen Babypool. Beim großen Pool sollte man mit kleinen Kindern allerdings aufmerksam sein, da die Wassertiefe von etwa 50 cm bis auf 2,50 m abfällt. Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig. Es wohnen viele Einheimische hier, aber nicht so viele Touristen. Wir hatten den Pool fast immer für uns allein. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zur Anlage gehört ebenfalls ein Tenniscourt zur sportlichen Betätigung. Ein großes Plus ist außerdem die unkomplizierte und freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Er hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt. Die Ankunft und Abreise waren problemlos.

Eigentlich gibt es nur einen kleinen Punkt: Die Wohnung hat keine Klimaanlage. Allerdings haben wir sie nicht vermisst. Trotz Außentemperaturen von etwa 35 °C blieb es in der Wohnung durch die dicken Wände, die richtigen Rollläden und vernünftiges Lüften bei angenehmen ca. 23 °C kühl. Daher ist das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage für uns letztlich kein wirklicher Nachteil.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we need for a 2 week stay. It is located away from the main road, so it is very quiet, and the bed is very comfortable.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L’hôte est très gentille. L’appartement est suffisamment grand et propre. La plage est à moins de 10 minutes à pied. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine.

L’accès de la piscine n’est pas possible par le balcon. L’insonorisation de l’immeuble, malheureusement on entend les voisins qui étaient bruyants.

This is the second time we stay here during our surf trips. One of the best apartments in the area in terms of value for money. Great location - close to surf schools and shop. Apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped comparing to what you usually may get in Peniche/Baleal for this price. Building area is well-mainteined, including pool. Ricardo is amazing host, very welcoming, always available to solve any problem you might encounter. It might be a bit chill during spring time due to apartment facing north - make sure to take some warm clothes with you - but there was dehumidifier and 2 heaters to help us with this, so everything is thought through :) The building itself has not great soundproofing, so earplugs might come handy.

Spacious apartment, really comfortable and cosy. Nice little balcony with a view on a swimming pool. Quiet area with a grocery store and restaurants nearby. Surf spot is also in a walking distance from the flat. Helpful and friendly hosts.
