Cooper Cottage

Let me share my experience from my recent visit to Cooper Cottage, which was my second time there. I must say, the place continues to impress me with its ongoing improvements! The ambiance, amenities, and overall atmosphere have all contributed to making my stay truly amazing. Thank you for maintaining such high standards and for continually enhancing the experience for your guests.

We've stayed at Cooper Cottage a couple of times, and we really enjoy it - it's simple, peaceful, private, comfortable and convenient. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Cooper Cottage - it's simple, comfortable, very private and quiet, bright and has everything we need for a short stay. We particularly love the cottage's own little private sunny garden. We'll always return!

The location and a parking at the front door

Loved the linen and garden. We also loved the homely feel of the cottage. Parking conveniently was also fantastic.

Could consider putting a cooking top in or supply microwave cookware.

Quiet, private room with everything needed.

It is within a home, as a woman travelling alone, that gives extra sense of safety. Has a kitchenette, a braai area and a garden.

I am generally scared of dogs, they had a little friendly pup, who really wanted to get inside and probably snuggle in the cottage.

I really loved that despite the accommodation being on the owners property, they gave so much privacy. There is a wall around, offering a separate space. The room is beautiful and full of the basic necessities! There are beautiful opportunities to sit and connect. I love it! We also had the cutest visitors!!

Maybe a bigger cutting board for braais and maybe a knife for the meat.. the braai area is an amazing feature

It was very cosy and everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our lovely, private courtyard. It was also close to the Wedding Venue at Haycroft Farm, and to the shops. A bonus was having the garage leading into the cottage, with the rain. We loved having Bella & Trixie (hope I remembered the names correctly) coming to visit us every day 😄❤️🐾🐾

The little garden area is super cute. The parking was covered and made it easy to enter the accommodation. The host was super friendly and helpful.

The wifi stopped working the second night and morning we were staying here which was a little unfortunate.

The location is perfect, the room is well appointed and comfortable and attractively decorated. Full marks for the shower - lots of high pressure very hot water. There's a lovely private garden as well. The location is ideal as it provides quick and easy access to main roads, and there is reasonable shopping opportunity within a few minutes.

Cooper Cottage was a cosy, comfortable and clean cottage. Communication was good from Josh and Emily. The cottage was private and excellent value for money. Thank you for our short stay guys.

When we looked on booking.com for somewhere to spend the night on our journey through to CT, we decided on Howick and thought Cooper Cottage would be fine for a simple 1 night stay. What a surprise when we got there - it's lovely! Simple yet modern, bright, clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous little landscaped garden that's fully private, a garage to park in, and secure. A great find!

For the second year in a row - my daughter & I stayed at Cooper Cottage for 2 nights. A lovely modern clean and comfortable stay - just what we needed over the 2 days. Lovely covered outdoor area to relax - and a beautiful tranquil private garden. Will definitely book here again.

Everything was so beautiful, clean and neat. Even the outside setup was so well thought of. We will definitely be returning. Loved it! 😍

We did self catering. Lovely big shower with hot water. Watching TV from the bed. Sitting out on the spacious. private patio surrounded by beautiful plants. Sleeping in a long and big comfortable bed. Having drive in parking.

Needed a few more hooks to hang clothes/jackets. Found the bedside rugs slippery so put them under the bed. I would have liked a utility knife for cutting vegetables/salad. One of the bathroom blinds needs a small repair.

No aircon or heater for the room, but the blankets are warm enough.

Such a great spot for an overnight stay. Really appreciated the attention to detail- hot water bottles especially!!!

Friendly hosts and easily accessible via wattsapp. Easy is find, and it was private, quiet and relaxing. Garage being attached was great. Lovely to sit outside on the verander and have the extra private space. Did have little dogs and a chicken pop in for a visit but they were "polite" and well behaved so did not worry us. Excellent value for money and will definitely come again if I need to sleep over in the area.

Pillows were abit too hard for me, but otherwise no real issues.

The carpets were full of dog's hair. My wife is allergic to this. The freezer compartment was fully frozen up, unusable. The showerhead was stripped and came off. Water spurted all over.

Garage fitted our bakkie which is unusual. We were in the process of moving and was nice to have the vehicle out of the rain and managed to get our stuff organised. Lovely garden outside. Friendly little dogs, love them. Relaxed spot, was just what we needed.

La habitación tiene mucha privacidad, es limpia cómoda y cuidada. Tiene una pequeña zona self-catering con nevera. Tiene bonitos detalles. El proceso de entrada y salida también es autónomo y fácil.

Hizo MUCHO frío. Era un día de lluvia y frío en el exterior y pasamos bastante frío dentro durante la tarde y noche. Los anfitriones dejan mantas y bolsas de agua caliente pero aún así no era agradable estar.
