Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Perfect place for a weekend away. All as described online, and had everything we needed. Fantastic location close to the cafes, bars and shops. Bus stop not far away so you can explore the rest of the island. Checkin was easy with a lock box. Views to the ocean through the houses across the road.
On the main road, so if you don't like road noise you may wish to factor this in. Didn't bother us.

The only fault we found was the broken toilet seat hinge which appears to have corroded and ‘let go’ making lifting the lid problematic.

The road noise was not good, but you can't do anything about that as Waiheke is so popular these days.

1. Unit small given amount charged. 2. Request to leave bags in unit for 2 hours after checkout wasn't considered. 3. VERY IMPORTANT. To exit the unit, one needs to use a key. This is very dangerous, and I am sure that it would contravene fire safety regulations.

The fridge bordered on being a freezer! But only a minor quandary. Everything else was great.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Clean, tidy, quiet, perfect position, easy to access, 2 minute walk to everything you need and a bus stop across the road to access the whole island.
This is not a criticism of the property, be aware if you arrive after 8.30pm, like we did, you'll struggle to find anywhere to eat. Anywhere that was open the kitchens closed at 9pm. It's a quiet, delightful little town.

No air conditioning or ceiling fan. The floor standing fan provided was not really sufficient and we found it difficult to sleep. The noise from the traffic and main road was very loud and continuous during the day. We had to close the balcony doors as the traffic noise was too loud.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Appartment. Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was es braucht, wie zum Beispiel Waschmaschine. Shops und Möglichkeiten für Speisen sind in Gehdistanz wie auch der Steand. Busstation ist nur wenige Meter entfernt.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2025It was bright and airy and the bed was super comfortable. The sea view from the balcony was lovely while having morning coffee and a sundowner later. It was so close to all restaurants and shops and the bus stops were close by, if you wanted to venture out round the Island.
Everything was good for us in our trip.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Outstanding location with beautiful views and glimpses of the sea in both directions! Literally only steps to town, restaurants and cafes and we even walked the easy 2kms to the ferry terminal to pick up our ebikes for the day. This villa had all that you could possibly need, bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Couldn't fault it - we will be back one day!
It was quite warm while we were there, even at night, so maybe air conditioning. Having said that there was a fan supplied and it was so strong and thus very effective.

Bed too soft for me, and no choice of pillows - just very bulky ones- most places offer one thin and one thick Mosquitoes - the repellant had run out - tried to contact the host but didn’t get a response until after we left

Reviewed Apr 7, 2025A spacious place that has everything you need! Conformable sitting and sleeping areas and well equipped kitchen. Outside space is great to have although on the road, it has a view of the sea. Bus stops right outside into the island as well as to/from the ferry (Matiatia). This is just minutes from Oneroa with shops, supermarket, restaurants, ice cream and pie shops etc which we found really useful. Must a short walk to Oneroa beach. And access to the Te Ara Hura trail too (we walked to Onetangi and Matiatia).
We stayed at the beginning of April so a bit cooler but it was warm in the apartment - plenty of fans which was really useful, they worked well. Its a busy road but it's fairly quiet and constant noise (not accelerations) so didn't bother us.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2025Lovely apartment with everything you need. Very comfortable. Convenient location just past the last bus stop in Oneroa village and handy to all the shops and cafes. You can pay for the bus with a contactless credit or debit card. Tracy, the manager, was very helpful though we didn’t meet in person.
Being on the main road you could hear a bit of passing traffic during the day but at night it was quiet.

We liked the way it was laid out, with the bedroom area made to feel separate even though it was essentially in the same room. Very near cafes and restaurants too but it was still quite quiet. Loved the path down to little Oneroa beach.
