Das Appartement liegt sehr günstig in der Innenstadt und verfügt über eine sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Möbel, Badezimmer, Bilder, Pflanzen, etc. Der Parkplatz in einer überdachten Einfahrt ist optimal, sogar für zwei PKW hintereinander parkend geeignet. Auch der Kontakt zu Ernest war sehr freundlich.

Heel gezellig appartement voor een rustig verblijf in Doornik Heel licht en gezellig appartement met uitzicht op een gekanaliseerde Schelde. De boten varen letterlijk onder je neus voorbij. Al wat je nodig hebt is voorhanden. Heel gastvrije eigenaren die onmiddellijk reageren op berichten!

The spiral stairs were a bit of a challenge.

L'emplacement, la décoration. On se sent dans un appartement avec une histoire, les lithos, les livres, les belles plantes bien entrenues, la vaiselle, tout y contribue. C'était mon 3ème séjour et j'y retournerai, tant que je suis capable de monter les escaliers.

Comme dans tout immeuble non climatisé,, cette période de canicule extrême a été difficile. Mais l'appartement est traversant et dès que les nuits sont fraîches, on peut le rafraîchir en ouvrant les fenêtres la nuit. L'appartement vit et malheureusement certains locataires n'ont pas pris un soin total de la très belle vaisselle à disposition. Désormais (par rapport à mon premier séjour en 2022), pas mal d"ébréchés"et d'autres petits détails.

Il pavimento scricchiolare al passaggio, si vede che era un appartamento di lusso ma un po trascurato in particolare all'esterno, l'ingresso e le scale.

We hadden geen WiFi toen we aankwamen en konden de mail met de toegangscodes niet openen. Buurvrouw heeft gebeld. Eenmaal binnen : een groot, proper appartement met twee slaapkamers waarvan een met bad (vrij ruim) en de andere met douche (piepklein) . In de keuken is alles voorradig . Heel rustig gelegen bij de Schelde en dicht bij het centrum.

Eigenlijk het enige minpunt is een hard krakende vloer bij de slaapkamers en een piepende deur van het toilet.

Prachtig en ruim appartement aan de Schelde. Met eigen afgesloten parkeerplaats.

Het appartement is heel aangenaam, ruim en zalig is het zicht op het water; de avondzon die binnenscheen; de leuke lectuur; de smaakvolle inrichting; de goeie matrassen; de parkeergarage;

Het duurde een beetje voor er warm water uit de douche in het bad kwam; evt. een vergiet (maar dit zijn details)

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Familien Kurzurlaub, es war alles vorhanden, gepflegt und sehr angenehm. Es hat an nichts gemangelt, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.

Wenn es etwas zu bemängeln gibt, dann, dass sich so ein Altbau schlecht heizen lässt, wir waren im Winter da und es wurde zimmerweise warm. Die Treppe ist nur für Personen die gut zu Fuß sind.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete großzügige Wohnung in der zweiten Etage eines alten Hauses an der Schelde. Zwei Badezimmer (das zweite sehr klein) und separates WC. Schöne Küchenzeile. Zwei Schlafzimmer zur Hofseite. Vom Wohnzimmer aus Blick auf die Schelde und die Altstadt mit der Kathedrale. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig.

Es gibt nur sehr wenig Porzellan und nicht viele Gläser. Schön wäre es zudem gewesen, wenn es einen Toaster gäbe. Die Matratzen waren okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Eine Mappe mit Instruktionen und Informationen fehlte.

De stijlvolle inrichting en het comfort van het ruime appartement bevielen ons zeer. Alles was aanwezig om zelfs de meest druilerige dag aangenaam door te brengen. We hebben onze batterijen kunnen opladen zoals verhoopt!

Grand et spacieux

This is a lovely very well furnished, very clean, tidy and comfortable good value apartment with superb parking (lockable garage adjoining the building) overlooking the river in Tournai. We only came to Tournai because the accommodation ticked all our boxes while we searching for somewhere to stay: secure parking, views, two bedrooms with bathrooms, large living area, lovely kitchen, very reasonably priced, bars, restaurants in walking distance. The apartment is on the second floor & accessed by a traditional spiral staircase so care needs to be taken with children & those not having full mobility. Also although the two bedrooms have their own bathrooms there is only one WC to share which is located in the hall way. The hosts were very quick to respond to our few questions; we had no problems locating the apartment & accessing the keys. Tournai is a lovely town, lots of restaurants & bars all within walking distance.

Pour nous le logement est idéalement situé, la rue en sens unique n'est pas trop passante et permet de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes. nous avons profité du spectacle qu'offre le canal de l'Escaut. L'appartement à un excellent potentiel dès l'entrée nous avons l'impression d'accéder à un musée la verrière est magnifique. Le logement offre de grands espaces bien desservis. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain. Les jeux laissés à disposition ont été très appréciés. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles, accueillants et répondent très rapidement à nos sollicitations. Un grand merci à eux

Le parquet en bois grinçait beaucoup à certains endroits dès que nous marchions.

Prachtig groot appartement met hele goede bedden. Locatie was ook perfect. In het centrum nabij de Grote Markt. Parkeerplek onder het appartement was ook perfect.

Een puntje van aandacht: badhanddoeken roken een beetje muffig en ik miste een prullenbak in elke kamer en een afdruiprek voor vaat.

The location was amazing, just opposite the canal with a beautiful view and sunset. The apartment was spacious and yet cosy. It had all the nicest appliances, including a top notch coffee machine. I travelled with my teenage son only. I would like to go back with the rest of the family. It was our final stop after a two-week road trip around Europe and it was just perfect!

Wonderful apartment with a fantastic view over the river Scheldt towards the cathedral. Lots of barges on the river which made it even more interesting! Large two bedroom apartment with big main bathroom and smaller ensuite shower room. Massive kitchen, well equipped. Large dining / living room. Easy to walk into Tournai from the apartment. Bed comfortable.

The only thing I found a challenge was the spiral staircase to get to the apartment on the second floor. It was perfectly safe, but I prefer 'normal' stairs! There was a small carrefour supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, not very big. although we managed to get by for our 4 night stay. No large grocery shops nearby. Not a problem if you have a car, but not so easy if not.

The apartment is bright and clean, the bed was great, the sheets very crisp and wonderful. Located 10 minutes from the main square, with a large number of restaurants to choose from. Would stay again. The on-site parking was the real bonus.

Excellent location, a walk away from the centre. Nice and quiet. Kitchen fully equipped although we didn't need to use it. Good to have somewhere safe to park the car too.

Very comfy living and dining room, nicely decorated, totally equiped kitchen with tasty coffee made by deLonghi, very good beds and quiet bedrooms, good showers with hot water and soft towels.

Quiet location a few minutes walk to bakery and the city centre. Beautiful and spacious apartment. Great showers. Views of river and cathedral. Enormous garage. A useful location as a basis for day trips to Lille, Roubaix and Ghent as well as wandering around Tournai.

The stairs are quite steep and were fine for our 5 year old but might be something to be aware of for very young children. Other than that, no concerns at all with recommending this apartment very highly.

Wonderful place, Lovely facilities, and a great location by the river and a short walk into the centre of Tournai.

One one of the coffee cups broke when I poured hot water to make a coffee in it, and it took a while to work how to drain the sink in the smaller en-suite. Also the staircase is pretty "rustic" - I'm not sure if elderly guests or small children would be 100% safe climbing it..

A superbly equiped apartment in an excellent location. The entrance and staircase to the apartment is beautiful (some with a fear of heights may struggle with the staircase). This really was one of the nicest apartments I have stayed in with the added benefit of off street parking. Strongly recommended.

Beautiful decor, well equipped, great location. Owners left lots of food/cooking items for use. Great coffee machine and beans! Luxurious.

Some places have it all. This is one of them. Owners very accommodating with earlier check-in and later check-out but also by supplying us with some fans as we experienced some hot days in summer.
