EL Gouna Abu tig marina studio- economy stay

Very disappointing experience. I specifically booked a unit in Abu Tig Marina because of its location and the fact that everything is within walking distance. After arriving, I was told the unit had plumbing problems and was moved to a unit in Sabina, which is far from the area I originally chose. The replacement unit also had several problems: one bathroom had a sink that wouldn’t drain and a broken shower door, making it difficult to shower without water splashing everywhere. The other bathroom’s heater was not working, and the stove was also not working properly. What made the experience worse was the way the situation was handled. I was asked to pay EGP 3,500 for an additional night despite all these inconveniences. I tried to reach a reasonable compromise and offered EGP 1,500, then EGP 2,000, but the response I received was simply “same no,” which I found extremely rude and dismissive. I would not recommend this property. If you book here, make sure you get exactly the unit and location you paid for, because the alternative accommodation may be very different.

Prime location nex to Abu Tig Marina, very close to HSBC bank. Bestway supermarket is very near, which has all goods are regular prices. The view on the fourth floor was amazing, overlooking the open sea, the lagoon and Sheraton resort. The area is very calm and relaxing. The keys collection was super easy, like any airbnb abroad. Microwave, small kettle, plates, forks, spoons, a big knife and many cups and mygs were all handy. Soap and good water pressure hot and cold. The iron was very useful for our clothes. The fridge was working well. The complimentary tea was a nice touch. AC was working although we didn't need it at all, weather was very nice mid November.

The eleveator was not working as always, so little sports everyday is good. Cleaning the floor could be done a bit better and thorough, especially under the beds every now and then. There was a safe box but it was locked. TV had some noise at first, and sometimes it would be disconnected altogether, which was frustrating while following an interesting movie :) At the end it was fixed all alone.

The apparemment was at the forth stage and the escalators wasn't working , they told us before arriving but i assumed that they will repair it during our stay .

The flat is very clean, its location is perfect, pleasant stay , and fully equipped with appliances.

Lift is not working and the flat in the 4th floor.

Great location and good value for money! The room doesn’t have a full kitchen, just a microwave and basic utensils, but it has everything you’d need for a short stay—just no stovetop. The manager is very responsive and quick to help with anything you might need. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot to enjoy the city. Amazing view !!

A small note: the curtains don’t fully block the light, so it can be bright in the morning. Not a problem for me, but just something to keep in mind!

There is no access for a beach

The location, size of the studio, the shower water pressure, mini bar, kettle, microwave and internet.

The curtain was not hung properly which made it very hard to sleep, there were broken and bumpy tiles, and when there was a plumbing issue it took house keeping a very long time to come.

The room needs maintenance. In the room description it’s mentioned that there’s a stove and washing machine which is not true and they charge extra fees for cleaning
