I contacted the team clarifying that I need an earl checkin, as I had no place to stay in gouna and I booked for one night even though my flight was scheduled at 10 pm and I have to leave the house after few hours of checking in.. and that I’m only checking-in my belongings and I have a lot of business errands to do in my last day in gouna, they rejected my early check in even though the house was empty as they informed me. But their thing was it wasn’t clean. I waited till 3pm.. they never sent the building number and I had to wait for another 40 mins. Until someone from their gouna team showed up to guide me to the house. Also he said that the house was clean in the morning when I requested the early checkin and the phone agents didn’t even inform him with my request. So I ended up paying $100+ to only use the house for few hours and I had to cut my business errands do more than an hour just to checkin. If I knew that I wouldn’t have booked it from the beginning The location the house everything about it was good. But the phone agents for the renting company were a disaster.

The only reason we wouldn’t give a 10 rating was that the lift was out of service for the duration of our stay. Which meant lugging suitcases up 6 flights of stairs.

Horrible directions to the apartment. Withheld information that the apartment was in the 3rd floor with no working elevators. Imagine more elderly couples or people not able to make the 3 floor ascent several times everyday often with groceries. Imagine carrying the bags up and down for 3 floors even if you are able.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2024The apartment is generally okay and neat. Location is excellent and very convenient. Parking is very convenient.
Mainly the host. They didn't do the needed permits and we stayed at Gouna Gate for half an hour. We sent all the needed documents on time. He didn't give accurate description of apartment location (floor level or how to find the apartment) only apartment number was given. The other problem is the smell of the Guest Toilet is impossible. I don't know whether it's the cleaning equipment they left at the toilet or not. The apartment needs some maintenance.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2024The place was clean, and everything was as described, which made for a pleasant stay. However, there were some issues with the Wi-Fi, which wasn't working initially. I contacted the management, and while they did send someone to fix it, it was an inconvenience. Another concern was the insurance fee. They charged me 3,000 EGP as a security deposit before my stay, which they promised to return within 48 hours after checkout. Unfortunately, I had to wait over a week and had difficulty reaching them to get my deposit back. It was only after persistent attempts that I finally received the refund.While the apartment itself was good, the delay in communication and refund process left me a bit disappointed

The lift would occasionally not be functional, but that is a building maintenance issue, not really to do with the listing.
