The view of the river was so relaxing and beautiful. Although restaurants/cafes were not walking distance, they were only a short and easy drive.

Not about the property but Google maps is incorrect in locating the property. The fridge freezer seems to be running almost constantly and is noisy.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2025A lovely place with a beautiful view over the river inlet. The property had the bonus of a washing machine which is handy for longer stays. Very friendly hosts.
Some sugar would have been nice to use for a cup of tea or coffee, and perhaps a torch in the property for extended power cut situations, which unfortunately occurred during our stay.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025I received a warm welcome from Frederika and her two dogs. The wow factor of the view and the beautiful apartment. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and spotlessly clean. Milk and orange juice in the fridge and coffee pods for the machine. Wonderful views.

The location was quiet, but still only a short drive to the town centre, with an amazing view out the front door. I rarely give 10/10 ratings, but this is a place I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return to one day.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2024We stayed a whole week and could have stayed longer. A modern house that’s solid and has double glazing. The apartment is the size of a small house and is on the ground floor level with the owners living upstairs but as it’s a solid built house, there is no noise from upstairs. The temperature inside the house was perfect but there is reverse cycle heating/air conditioning if needed. There are extensive views from every room and they are fantastic. In addition there is outside seating and a large patio. Beautifully manicured gardens with a lot of Birdlife. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, very large shower, large TV with Netflix etc. very useable kitchen, Good WiFi. You can walk around the neighbourhood (actual pavements) and there is a walking loop close by. Views everywhere. Ten minutes into town. We did most of the waterfall walks from the Stone House and all are excellent and clearly marked. Many good eateries in town and the supermarket is open 7 days a week from 7-10pm. You definitely need a car.

The Hosts, Fredi and Brian are very welcoming, available if needed and respect your privacy which is great. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and you have all that you need. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evenings, so peaceful and as l said a lovely view. There was a mini starter pack of breakfast items which was welcome too. There is also a folder with a lot of local information which was useful.

Love enjoying my afternoon cuppa under the shade and the glass of CabSav over the stunning and peaceful view of KeriKeri inlet. The garden is beautifully landscaped and maintained; the accommodation is so quiet with only bird chirping sound. And, its location is handily close to town.
