Maison Charme De L'ile

Excellent séjour malgré la pluie sur plusieurs jours. Nous étions dans une petite maison très confortable et spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Excellente literie, maison très propre et nettoyée tous les jours. Personnel très disponible et sympathique. Emplacement idéal car situé entre la Passe et Grande Anse, tout près de l'union estate. Jolie terrasse et jardin agréable. Petite piscine qui se révèle la bienvenue après une journée. Service de location de vélo proposé à un tarif avantageux. Merci beaucoup !!!

Klimat jest cudowny, kazdy szczegol, kazdy mebel i kazda roslinka idealnie dopasowana i przepiekna! Wygodne lozka, piekne tarasy, wyposazenie we wszystko czego potrzeba! Rowery do wypozyczenia, reczniki na plaze. Niespodzianka czekala w pokoju na nasza rocznice ❤️Cudowne miejsce!

Our absolute favourite apartment of all Apartments in the seychelles. It is an oasis in a beautiful Garden, with Pool and Outdoor shower, super helpful friendly staff and rooms that are so perfectly clean and created with love for Quality and every details. Renting a bike was easy too. Thank You for our fantastic stay, you made our time in La Digue truly unique!

Everything Perfect

Básicamente desayuno no había.

La ubicación de pena, lleno de obras todo el entorno, dentro del recinto todo el día de obras varias personas lo cual hacía la intimidad imposible. Bicicletas de verano azul. En mal estado. 2 botellas de agua a la llegada y se acabó en 4 días. Las mini piscina es para todos los huéspedes, poneos las fotos como si fuera una villa con piscina y no es así. Muy decepcionados. Nos cogieron el efectivo de la reserva y daba igual la tarjeta. Bastante lamentable por la expectativa que creáis.

Le lieu est magnifique. C’est très paisible. Petite piscine agréable. Tout est fait pour s’y sentir bien. Des vélos sont à disposition pour chaque chambre (payant) et c’est bien pratique. Pour notre départ, nous avons pu nous relaxer au bord de la piscine en attendant le taxi (lieu prévu pour bagages, douche et toilettes) même en ayant quitté la chambre. Accueil super !

Rien … sauf pour le petit déjeuner: sur les 3 que l’on a pris c’est arrivé un peu dans le désordre mais rien de grave !

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, ruhig gelegen, gute Lage, idyllisch und geschmackvoll! Toller Garten und hübsches Tauchbecken.

It was overall high quality. Big, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect. We ordered breakfast. It was fantastic. Very good value for the money. Really comprehensive and fully recommended. We also ordered dinner for one night! And loved it. Home cooked delicious food.

Only negative point were mosquitos! In the evening it was impossible to sit outside! But mosquitos are everywhere in the island! So ...

Отличный номер. Приветливый персонал. Ежедневная уборка. Приятный бассейн. Очень хорошие велосипеды на прокат. Белье и полотенца отличного качества. Есть пляжные полотенца. Ежедневная уборка номеров. Кухня полностью укомплектована. Дизайн с камешками нам очень понравился.

Кондиционер установлен так, что дует прямо на кровать.

À côté du parc

Très grande déception. À l’arrivée, 30 minutes d’attente sans aucun accueil. Impossible de joindre l’hôte malgré plusieurs appels. Les demandes faites en amont n’ont pas été respectées, aucune excuse, aucun suivi, zéro contact pendant tout le séjour. Nous avons traversé trois îles pour venir à La Digue, et malheureusement ce lieu a complètement gâché l’expérience. Maison Charme de L’ile… pour le coup porte très mal son nom. Un très mauvais souvenir.

Le jardin naturel privatif , la chambre , l’accueil , le calme du lieu , la propreté, la piscine. Les arbres fruitiers.

Чудесная чистая вилла, прекрасный двор-сад с фонтаном и бассейном, весь в зелени. Хозяйка большая молодец, корректная и отзывчивая, действительно хочет сделать пребывание гостей незабываемым. Место идеальное - в тишине и одинаковом отдалении от 2 лучших пляжей на острове.

Everything was excellent, Sylvette was absolutely wonderful. They even allowed us a slightly late check out. Kitchen has everything you need. Beautiful and comfortable apartment

This would be an 11 out 10 if two things were improved: 1- Make the bicycle rental a part of the rate or give them for free to guests. Everybody uses a bicycle anyways in the island and it feels off that you need to pay separately and extra for them. 2- The shower is obviously ran by solar energy, meaning you only get hot showers on sunny days. Otherwise, on cloudy days or rainy days(we had a few of those) you don’t get hot water. This could be improved. Or stay was still wonderful but these two things didn’t make it a perfect 10 out of 10. I still recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent breakfast served on the porch, excellent and super-friendly host, fantastically beautiful surroundings with amazing attention to details, very nice little pool. We immediately felt "at home" and could relax

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, es wurde jeden Tag das Zimmer gereinigt und hatte alles was man brauchte. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit eigenem Garten und zusätzlich einer Terrasse. Man konnte täglich Frühstück hinzubuchen, was sehr lecker, aber auch nicht günstig war (kleines Frühstück 150 / großes Frühstück 250 SCR). Fahrräder konnte man ebenfalls für 100 SCR p.Tag mieten.

Wir hätten uns mehr Unterstützung bei der Buchung eines Ausflugs gewünscht. Hier gab es lediglich ein Handout, wo wir hätten anrufen können. Der einmalige Stromausfall nachts bereitete uns große Angst, da hätten wir gerne vorher Bescheid gewusst (dieser war wohl geplant und die Bürger wurden vorab informiert).

Absolument tout ! La bien nommée maison charme de l’île est un lieu reposant, bien entretenu et vraiment charmant. Le personnel est chaleureux. Les logements sont mitoyens mais chacun garde son intimité. La chambre est spacieuse et bien aménagé. La petite piscine aux allures de jacuzzi est suffisamment grande pour se relaxer après une bonne journée.

Het appartement was smaakvol ingericht en heerlijk schoon. De gastvrouw tevens kamermeisje mag je zuinig op zijn. Hele charmante nette dame die de klasse heeft voor een gastvrouw en tevens de kamers tiptop verzorgd.

Too short stay

Sehr ruhige Lage. Wunderbares Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Mit dem Rad ist man in 20 Minuten am Grand Anse. Sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Service.

Sur une île ou tout se fait à vélo la situation de la maison était parfaite car au calme (2,5km du centre). Rien ne nous a manqué. Nous avons donc profité des vélos pour un prix modique, la maison était très propre. Il s'agit en fait de 4 logements mitoyens avec terrasse à l'avant et jardinet à l'arrière. Literie parfaite. Nous nous y sommes sentis extrêmement bien!

Fantastic room, Bed, kichen, shower and loo. We loved everything about this place. It was truely faultless. Beautifully maintained tropical gardens with a lovely plunge pool. The staff always had a smile and were helpful. I promise you will not be disappointed staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Charme de L’Île! The location is a little away from the busy center, but still very convenient. The beautiful garden with only four apartments creates a peaceful and private atmosphere. Our apartment was cozy, stylishly furnished, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely attentive and made us feel truly at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

The Apartment was spacious and everything looked like on the pictures. The pillows were a bit hard and too big for us. The kitchen equipment was basic, but no standards such as oil, salt or pepper were provided. The staff on side was really friendly and helpful and we were also able to check out late. The little pool is also a nice place to relax. A big plus: each apartment has two bikes at the backyard and the price of 100 Rupees per day per bike is really good offer and value. We can recommend staying here.

Very complete and good value for money

Very good place to stay, the location was perfect. There was always someone for our call. She answered all the question we had and ever gave us a ride from ferry to hotel. There was also a bicycle, the room was extrellmely good. You can find every need in this small island. Thank you again for the stay

The property is amazing with very well organized and you could find hell lot of details designing the apartment with roughly all the amenities that one could think of.

Very spacious apartment with a front patio and a private backyard. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had very nice toiletries. The check in and check out process was very smooth. The kitchen is very well stocked and you can easily cook if you have the supplies The staff were very helpful and nice

It’s a little far from the main part of the island. So if you do not ride a bike, you have to walk to call for a taxi. The road outside is not cemented. So if it rains, your shows will get muddy. It’s also completely dark in the evenings. So please carry the torch provided by the maison

Nice property with nice rooms.

Just look elsewhere on La Digue. While the staff on site are great, the management is laughably bad. They are not onsite and purposefully impossible to contact (staff claim their contact information is available, it is not). Management clearly does not care about the wellbeing of guests, just that they extract money from you with minimal effort on their part. We had a basic issue (no hot water during our stay) that went unresolved for two days, despite contacting management and staff several times. Our request to management to fix the issue conveniently went unanswered until after we left (look at other reviews for this same issue). Then the management lied and gaslit us, making it seem like a non-issue, attributed to a few hours of rain (so if it rains, don’t expect to have hot water? Absurd.). They then said we had already checked out, so there wasn’t anything they could do to help at that point. We had to pursue a refund through Booking.com due to their lack of care and attention to the issue.

The location is close to the best beaches, supermarket around the corner and take away close. Outside area is nicely decorated. The apartment is spacious. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast was good. We were concerned about swimming pool size but it’s good enough for two to relax a bit. Safe box in the apartment, air conditioning worked well. Private terrace in front and at the back

Cozy and beautiful and hygienic property

Staff, only 1 in number, leaves at 2pm. Katina, the staff, is helpful and she could do as much as possible. After that, no one is there to help us. We slept with three lizards in the room with no repellant spray provided. Moreover, a lot of cats in the compound who were trying to come in the room. Also, Bathroom door was not closing. Rest all was good. Nice quality of beds, hygienic rooms and, a beautiful place to stay. It was 5 min away from the beach.

The villas has all you need. It’s very clean and very pretty! Location wise you have to cycle to go to the restaurants but they provide bikes at an extra fee, so the location is ideal as it’s on a quiet little lane, but you can be in the restaurants within 10 mins. It’s close to the l’union too! Overall lovely stay! We had breakfast on the terrace each morning

The rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and super clean. The maintenance and cleaning is on a daily basis, even though it feels like you rent an apartment, the staff always make sure it is tidy and organized. The place offers bikes for rental (cheaper than in the city) which are also getting maintenance regularly.

The place had 2 cats that were very needy, tried to get in the rooms and were occasionally laying on the chairs outside.

I very clean an comfortable place. The rooms are bid and have a great shower and kitchen which is really nice. We bought some stuff at the near by grocery for breakfast and really enjoy it! The location is good but not sea front or in the middle of the city and a bike rent is a must.

When it’s running the route can be a little flooded with big puddles (not in a way you can’t get to the room but may get really wet)

It’s a lovely place with a beautiful garden! And so many details in the garden decor on the territory. Comfortable apartment, includes beach towels. A very high level of hospitality, staff is very friendly and helpful, we were in love with this accommodation. Nice bikes, it’s a cruiser model, maybe not for every gradient of the road, but for us, it was enough and comfortable. Not bad at all :)

It was good, nothing complain)

Our host was lovely! We requested to help us have dinner on our front terrace, and if she could, cook us some local dishes with fresh fish. The result was the perfect and delicious dinners that I had with my wife after some long days doing snorkeling and sight seeing. Our host was so nice that she cooked some delicious dishes, and also brought fresh fruits that we enjoyed so much. She also helped us planned all the trips to La Digue, told us about the history of the island, where we should go, what to visit, helped us with transportation and also we found out that all of the islands inhabitants were kind and always prepared to help with directions if we got lost. To everyone that wants to visit La Digue, we encourage you to stay at least 3 days on the island, and defiantly at Maison Charme de L'ile! <3

Very high standard in everything including garden, exterior, interior. Everything looks brand new. The room was large and had absolutely everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and let us use our rental bikes and shower facilities even after check-out, also helped us with laundry for a small cost.

This place is just great! The room is very convenient and beautiful, the kitchen is functional (and we cooked there everyday) and there are bicycles that you can rent at the place. Maybe the most significant part of the stay was the housekeeper Johnete. She is very kind and helpful. When we had special requests, she solved them pretty immediately. For example, since we are vegan, she has prepared especially for us the traditional desert in Seychelles named Ladob. Was delicious!

We are still looking for something and couldn't find :)

The owner's choice of designing the house, each and everything in the house was probably handpicked and unique.Wish to stay in their Villa next time.

The approach road to the property was pitch dark after sunset.

Look no further than the lovely Maison Charme De L'ile, a perfect blend of bliss and tranquility, where the island's most famous beaches are just a stone's throw away (or 5 minutes on a bike). With caring owners and a lovely garden (you won't need the pool really), it's a top pick for a serene escape on La Digue.

Jeannette was a great host! She was always there for us! Perfect communication also via whatsapp. The room was huge and more facilities than we even needed (microwave, kitchen overall) AC worked also fine Lovely garden, even on both sides! Paradise!!!

amazing hospitality, everything very clean. a nice and quiet place as the Maison has only 4 rooms. the Garden and the pool are amazing. I also liked the location, with the bike you get anywhere .

We had a wonderful stay at Madison Charme De L'ile! The room/apartment ist very spacious and spotlessly clean. Each room comes with a nice terrace and a small private backyard where you can also park your bikes. The staff was super friendly, very welcoming and helpful. L'union estate is pretty much right next door and it's a 10 minute bicycle ride to the jetty. There are a variety of shops, supermarkets as well as restaurants and take-aways close by.

We love everything about this accommodation and feel regretful for not staying more days. The location may not be best as it is half an hour (by walk) from port, but with bike it’s easy to go anywhere

Nothing- the only thing I did not like is that we waited 20 mins to check in but maybe we could communicate arrival time better
