Skyline View

Jerry is an absolutely amazing host! We booked a chalet which included a second floor with beautiful panoramic view on the Silhouette island. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, two balconies, parking spot, washing machine - everything you can imagine. Jerry welcomed us with fresh fruits and all necessary basic things + assisted with all requests. Chalet is spacious enough to accommodate 4+ people and has everything you need for cooking. Our rooms were regularly cleaned too. There is a fruit garden with exotic fruits such as carambola, bilimbi, water apple, papaya and more. Incredible birds and nature around. During the wind season it can get a bit noisy at night on the roof, but we got more or less used to it. Property is located very close to the scenic Beau vallon beach, but we always used a rental car (for people without private car things can get more complicated). There are a few shops/markets for necessities, but we usually stocked everything in bulk from STC supermarket (in Victoria, close to the SEZ airport). Chalet is located on 1st/2nd floors of the 3-storey house (first floor has entrance with bathroom/laundry and kitchen + balcony, second floor contains two bedrooms, bathroom, spacious lounge/reading zone and shaded balcony with chairs and sun loungers). Building is shared with few more units for other guests (one studio on the first floor, and ground floor). We really enjoyed our stay on Mahe, and Skyline View was a big part of it!

As a solo traveller has everything that I needed. The host is kind and friendly and I was welcomed by fresh fruits and all basic cooking needs. The property has a lot of plants and trees and the apartment a homely feel. Short walk to get to the beaches and plenty of options for shopping and restaurants. 10/10, would stay again.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer schönen grünen Siedlung. Sie ist ruhig mit tollen Pflanzen und man kann Flughunde beobachten. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf das Meer war sehr charmant im kreolischen Stil, sehr sauber, mit gut funktionierender Klimaanlage und auch sonst mit allem ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gastgeber Jerry, der immer zur Stelle ist, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt oder wegfährt. Er hat jedes Mal einen tollen Tipp, ist furchtbar nett und extrem hilfsbereit. Sei es beim Helfen, eine Kokosnuss zu öffnen, Vorschläge für Ausflüge zu machen oder uns sogar einen Adapter hinterherzuschicken. Danke von Herzen, lieber Jerry.

With a rented car the location is excellent. For those without it, the bus station is 5 min walk. One of the best beaches in Seychelles is within walking distance. A couple of grocery stores are nearby. But he main advantage of the place is the host, Jerry. What a gem of a guy. You will see it when you meet him.

The regular cleaning with change of bedsheets and towels every 2 days seemed to be a bit excessive and unnecessary for us. I know that some people would rate it as a big advantage of the property, but we are sort of ecologically minded travellers.

Excellent apartment. The room was tastefully furnished and provided everything we needed. The host, Jerry, was incredibly welcoming and treated us to coconuts and garden fruits, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the large balcony with its beautiful view.

The room was a bit cramped than I expected, my suitcase could only be opened in the passageway leading to the balcony.

Great self-catering place if you are looking for something unique. Jerry, the owner lives adjacent building and very welcoming and helpful with guidance on the area. The decks and the views make this place standout along with the roomy A-frame look. We had the apartment, two levels with plenty of space and privacy, quiet neighborhood.

Not a negative, but a car would be wise to have to get to property, Next small settlement to Vallon, so ~1.5-2km east drive to get to the main beach/restaurants. Denzil and end of the road hike to the beach is ~5-10 minute leisure drive.

This is an absolutely lovely place: our room had a balcony that was perfect for having a drink whilst watching the stars, with gorgeous views during the day too. Location wise, you can walk to Beau Valone and Anse Major, but you need to rent a car to really appreciate Mahe properly. All the reviews mention how great Jerry is, but it bears repeating: he's one of the loveliest and most informative people I've met. You won't do better in terms of value for money: the Skyline View is amazing.

Jerry is a very friendly, committed host and pampered us with fresh fruit , bottled water and a garden full of tropical fruit. The view is really exquisite with the blue sea on the skyline and exceptional sunsets . This was a real island holiday and the accomodation is highly recommended. The public transport is reliable near the accomodation and takes you over the whole island.

Nice view from the balcony. Super helpful host. We get a coconut drink when we arrived and a fruit plate was always full :)

The best welcome and best host ever - Jerry provided us with coconuts,fruits and some basic breakfast when we arrived, some bread tree what he was preparing for his family as well. The cleaning and change iof sheets.towels,etc. was done every other day. The chalet has all necessary equipment There were a couple of good groceries near by. Let's not forget the most spectacular sunsets! We will highly recommend the place!

The apartment was really nice and spacious. Great views from the hillside. Close to the beach and little supermarket. Jerry was a wonderful and helpful host and we also could do the check-in earlier. The amenities were good, the washing machine was a big plus.

The neighborhood was a bit noisy, dogs were barking all night and because of open windows it was too easy to hear. The shower drain didn't work so well.

Super Accommodation. Jerry the Host was the best. Right from the beginning he provided for a very nice welcome. So we really got into the Feeling "Holiday begins now". Any questions we had, he was happy to help us out. The Accommodation itself had nothing to complain about. Super Clean, Kitchen well equipped (even with a welcome fruit basked), nice view and very comfy longchairs on the balcony to relax. We also can recommend the Delivery Service he recommended.

Fantastic interior and view, very close to the Beau Vallon beach, which has plenty of restaurants to go to or mini market to cook your dinner at home. Jerry, the host, was really nice and helpful and made you feel at home. Really great choice and money well spent!

It was such a great stay on Mahé! Jerry is a very friendly and helpful guy (helped us with organizing a transport from the Jetty). It was nice and interesting talking to him and to learn more about the Seychelles. The view from our apartment (Chalet) was stunning, we just sat there in the morning and evening and watched the ocean. The area was quiet and it was easy to get to a closer beach as well as to the Beau Vallon beach. Furthermore there were supermarkets close by. All in all we had a very good time!
