Reviewed Aug 29, 2026A flat with spectacular views of the canal. The flat is very spacious and cosy. The host was very kind, explaining how everything worked in detail and very courteously. Lots of thoughtful touches included (a fridge with water and soft drinks for us), bath slippers, bathrobes... A magnificent experience and 100% recommended. We felt right at home.
If I were to find one fault... it was the lack of a lift. But then again, it was only two floors.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026De locatie is helemaal leuk, uitkijkend over het water én in het centrum! Relaxte bank om 's avonds op te zitten. Grote nette badkamer met douche, toilet en wastafel. De eigenaren wonen boven het appartement, maar geen last van.
De slaapkamer zit achterin het appartement en heeft geen ramen, de badkamer ook niet. De douchekraan bleef wat druppelen, maar verder geen last van gehad.

It may be difficult to find a parking spot on a street next to the house.

Helaas de trap naar de bovenste verdieping, maar dat lag meer aan mijn conditie.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026The apartment is a lovely studio with the best view of the city, that can be enjoyed from a gorgeous terrace. Hosts are very nice.
Very minor point was that the curtains are shadowing the light only partially, thus the wake up time gets synchronised with the dawn. We were unlucky with the extremely hot weather which makes an airco very much appreciated. But we have enjoyed the rest which went much beyond any expectations!

We stayed in the top floor apartment and ate our evening meal outside on the roof terrace overlooking the canal. We had a splendid view looking down on a lifting bridge and watching boats arrive. Our bicycles were stored in a locked room on the ground floor. This was an outstanding place to stay.

Man darf in der Küche nichts braten oder kochen was Rauch erzeugt. Wir hätten gern Fisch oder Fleisch gebraten. Das geht nicht weil der Rauchmelder sofort auslöst.

Im Sommer kann es heiß werden da keine Fest installierte Klimaanlage vorhanden. Die Küche ist schon etwas älter.

Het uitzicht over de rivier met de varende schepen is spectaculair. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Koffie en thee zijn voorzien. Inkopen doen kan vlakbij in Leuke winkels en restaurants op een steenworp
Ik kan niets bedenken.

De kamer zelf is groot, uitgerust met alles wat je wil en vol historie. Aan alles is gedacht, en het is echt een plek waar je zeker meerdere nachten zou moeten blijven. En dan heb ik over het uitzicht nog niks gezegd ;) Perfect!

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Host begroette mij bij aankomst. Kreeg gelijk info over het appartement, de omgeving, waar ik boodschappen kon doen. Samen vanaf het dakterras hebben we het uitzicht bewonderd. Wat ik heel erg waardeerde is dat de host mij direct extra flesjes water aanbood na de melding om het mogelijk besmette drinkwater niet te gebruiken (op 13 juni).
Niks viel tegen en overal kunnen dingen beter. Ook bij mij thuis. Dus, geen tegenvallers; gewoon lekker genieten in een leuke stad; in een appartement met een prachtig uitzicht over de rivieren.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral und man hat einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die vorbeifahrenden Schiffe. Die Betten sind bequem und das Bad ist sehr schön. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die einzigen Fenster sind im Wohnzimmer. Damit die Menschen von der Straße nicht reinschauen können, muss man die Jalousien herunterlassen. Auch vom Treppenhaus aus kann man ins Wohnzimmer schauen. Das Schlafzimmer ist auch bei Nutzung der vorhandenen Beleuchtung sehr dunkel.

Ein wenig komisches Gefühl, da das Schlafzimmer keine Fenster hat.

Reviewed May 26, 2026My husband and I stayed at this property two years ago. We were delighted to return and be met by the host. The property was very comfortable and clean, as before. There is a mesmerizing view over the rivers with the never ending barge traffic and bird life. There is an excellent Spar grocery store nearby. The church is very much worth a visit; surrounding streets are interesting and a trip on the waterbus worthwhile to the Kinderdijk and/or the Erasmusbrug.

Une vraie hôte qui à le souci du bien être de ses invités Nous avons pu garer nos 3 vélos dans le couloir d'entrer de la résidence ce qui était super bien pour nous. Il n'y aurait pas eu la place pour d'autres vélos donc 3 c'est le maximum L'emplacement est très bien pour visiter toute la vieille ville Je recommande et serais heureux de revenir

The loft is like an eagle’s nest which is amazing but the stairway requires a bit of balance/dexterity to manage especially if you have substantial luggage. For us, the view and the warm vibe were totally worth it.
