Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Alles perfect aan deze accommodatie. We konden er al in voor de incheck tijd. We moesten naar een huwelijk, dus het was perfect dat we de spullen al konden afzetten en de fiets konden pakken. Ook fijn dat je gewoon in het huisje komt door een sleutel kluisje. Vooraf kregen we een app van de eigenaar met de instructies en dat verliep heel soepel Heel prettig het contact. Ontbijt was heel goed verzorgd en lekker. Huisje van alle gemakken voorzien.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Ein sehr süsses kleines Haus ,für 2 Personen ideal. Man muss allerdings noch beweglich sein, da die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer etwas steil ist. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und mit vielen kleinen netten Accecoires ausgestattet. Ebenfalls sehr liebevoll ist der Kaffee-/Teeservice im Zimmer auf der Anrichte gestaltet. Unsere Gastgeber wohnen nebenan und sind sehr sympatisch, die hinzugebuchte Frühstücksbox ist der Hammer! Es reichte auch noch für den nächsten Tag, der leider wieder unser Abreisetag war. An der Unterkunft kann man gut parken, für unsere mitgebrachten Fahrräder war auch eine Abstellmöglichkeit vorhanden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, alles ist schnell erreichbar.
Da fällt mir so gar nichts ein.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026The location of the house is good and the host was helpful. The house was clean. There were bicycles available.
We felt that the property description was misleading and did not accurately reflect the accommodation. The "kitchenette" consists only of a countertop with a bathroom sink, some plates, cutlery, mugs, a minibar, and a microwave. There is no stovetop or oven, making it impossible to cook meals. There isn't a proper refrigerator to store cold food. The TV was not functioning properly, as it stopped working when we tried to change channels. The bedroom has no blackout curtains, so the room becomes bright from the early hours of the morning. Finally, the hot water supply in the shower is limited. We would not recommend two people showering one after the other, as the hot water runs out quickly. Usually a B&B includes breakfast on the overnight accommodation. This wasn't the case as this requires an extra cost.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos—comfortable, clean, and perfect for two people. It's also conveniently located within a short walking distance of the center of Giethoorn. One of the biggest highlights was having bicycles available. The area is fantastic to explore by bike, and this made our stay even more enjoyable. Another great advantage is the boat rental right next to the house. It offers much better value than renting a boat from the more touristy spots, making it an excellent option for exploring the canals. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem und das Frühstück einfach hervorragend. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön gilt den Gastgebern. Sie waren unglaublich herzlich, großzügig und gastfreundlich. Ein Highlight war das Boot, das uns von den Gastgebern empfohlen wurde. Es ist nur etwa 50 Meter. Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu den Bootsvermietungen in der Stadt wirklich unschlagbar. Der größte Vorteil: Wir konnten das Boot jederzeit nutzen und sogar am Abend noch auf den See fahren, um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen – ein echtes Luxus-Erlebnis! Bei den üblichen Vermietungen müssen die Boote oft schon am späten Nachmittag zurückgegeben werden. Wir können diese Bootsempfehlung nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder – in genau dieses Häuschen und mit demselben Boot!
Der Kühlschrank ist etwas klein.

The entire property is decorated with immense care, boundless love and exquisite aesthetic taste. The room is spotlessly clean, and every detail reflects the owner’s thoughtfulness. The host is incredibly warm and always ready to offer any help we need. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and immersed ourselves in the unique peace and tranquility of Giethoorn. We love this place deeply, and we wish every guest who stays here a wonderful experience just like ours.

Es gab so viele nette Aufmerksamkeiten von einer herzlichen Empfangskarte über Selter im Kühlschrank und Süßigkeiten! Bei jeder Frage wurde sofort Hilfe und Ratschläge für Ausflüge angeboten! Mehr geht nicht! Vielen vielen Dank an Murielle und Henk!

L’impossibilità di regolare la temperatura degli ambienti è un handicap. Capiamo la logica del proprietario ma purtroppo le temperature sono soggettive e non possono essere imposte.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Eu adorei ficar neta casinha maravilhosa. super aconchegante, uma delicia. mesmo o banheiro sendo embaixo e o quarto em cima eu apesar dos meus 77 anos consegui descer a noite sem problema. o casal proprietários Henry e Marielle são super gentis, e facilitaram em tudo minha estadia de 3 dias, que achei muito pouca. queria ficar mais. Vale demais ficar hospedados lá. e giethoorn e lindo demais.

Our hosts Henk & Marielle were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Definately a must stay for anyone visiting Giethoorn.

Nu am avut baie in camera si trebuia sa cobor scarile noaptea la toaleta dar pentru o noapte a fost ok.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Vriendelijke en zorgzame gastvrouw. Ze dacht bij alles mee. Fietsen mochten na uitchecken nog de hele dag geleend. Huur een bootje bij de buren en bestel een picknickmand bij de gastvrouw en je hebt een geweldige dag in Giethoorn.

Love the level of quality of the amenities provided, and many selection of complimentary teas and cookies. 2 bicycles are also provided for the guests to use for free. For non driving travellers, bus stop is very walkable distance
