De host was erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en zeer attent. We hadden ruim voor aankomst al alle benodigde gegevens ontvangen. Alles was zeer duidelijk. Het appartement was erg schoon en netjes en er was meer dan voldoende servies, bestek en pannen. Er was een duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzing van de sauna aanwezig en hier hebben we dan ook elke dag gebruik van gemaakt. Er was aan schoonmaakmiddelen en toiletpapier geen gebrek. Het appartement ligt op zo'n 10-15 minuten wandelen van het centrum. Het ligt vlakbij een doorgaande weg waar je totaal geen last van hebt. En het is fijn dat de auto onder een overkapping geparkeerd kan worden. Mochten we weer naar Rovaniemi gaan dan gaan we zeker kijken of we dit appartement weer kunnen boeken.

Very spacious apartment on the way from the airport to Rovaniemi. Convenient way to Santa Claus village. Parking place under the roof near the apartment. Very good equipment, everything like new. Perfect for family stay.

We knew about the distance to the city centre, so it was not a surprise for us, that You have to drive to the store, restaurant or pub.

Fantastic location, really clean and good facilities like kitchen and sauna. Kids loved having sledges to use too !

Nice and quiet location, good amenities and although the building itself was on the slightly older side, it was more than sufficient and well kept to negate the age of the building.

It was a lovely clean accommodation to stay in. The location was amazing and it was close by to everything including the santa claus village just 8min drive and city center was close too. Great place to stay in very friendly people enjoyed it !

The whole stay was fantastic, the house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed and more (from kitchen essentials and toiletries over cleaning supplies and logs for the fire to the cosiest bedding (the beds don't look it but they are incredibly comfortable!)). The sauna was great but we used it only once as we were warm enough already the whole time (stayed in January, I'd bring lighter clothes for indoors next time). The location is great as well, everything is within a couple minutes drive (supermarkets, Santa Claus Village, airport) but at the same time it's quiet and there's plenty of opportunity to go for a nice walk or sledding. Even though I was initially concerned about getting the check-in instructions on the day of arrival only, the communication with Hanne-Mari (who is also super nice) was great from start to finish; there's nothing she could have done any better. Would go again in an instant :)

It is a very comfortable and spacious accommodation and has almost everything one needs. One should not forget that during winter, given the temperatures, a lot of time is spent indoors. Especially with a small child, it would have been unbearable for us to be confined to a small, fancy accommodation. The location is a major advantage. It is centrally located between all key places. We booked activities with three different providers, all of whom agreed to pick us up directly from the accommodation. General tip: skip the local taxis and use Uber instead. From the accommodation, we paid 21 € to Santa Claus Village, 11 € to the city center, and 28 € to the airport.

We really enjoyed spending the evenings by the fireplace and in the sauna. In addition, there were excellent opportunities for our child to go sledding right in front of the house and around the holiday resort, as well as to have snowball fights and build snowmen.

Sauna, was very important after cold days outside. We enjoyed having it. Fireplace was nice also, everything was nice and clean at the property. A Christmas present from the owner could make the stay magic but not necessary.

No complains. One thing about sauna,could be great to have a wood bucket attached with cold water autofilling, when getting out from sauna to be able to pull the rope and get splashed with cold water. Not critical.

Location was wonderful! So nice not to be in the middle of the Christmas village area but able to access everything. All the facilities were wonderful and communication was really easy and thorough.

Kids loved being able to play outside and was just really nice to have our own space.

It was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a magical stay with our kids. The sauna was great after long days out in the cold. When we arrived it was -25 which was one of coldest days of the winter. Other days it was around around -10.

Bardzo ładny apartament wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne, Wygodne łóżka, super sauna, zadaszone miejsce parkingowe. Bardzo pomocni właściciele. Polecam zarówno na krótki, jak i dłuższy pobyt.

The flat was amazing for our family, the facilities great, the communication with the host within minutes which is amazing, the host recommended places to go and things to do. Very clean place. Something important I just realised there, they got a roofed garage which you can place your car and keep it protected of the enviroment (especially if it snowing).

There were nothing we didn't like, the flat is just perfect.

Great size with sleeping and sitting areas. Also washing machine and drying cupboard which is very handy with little kids.

I really liked Kotareitti Apartments because it was comfortable, clean, and located in a peaceful area. The apartment had everything I needed—well-equipped kitchen, good heating, and a cozy atmosphere. I also appreciated the easy check-in process and the friendly communication from the host. Overall, it felt like a perfect base for relaxing and exploring the surrounding area.

Apartanent byl wyposazony we wszystko co potrzeba. Od wyposazonej kuchni po pralke i suszarke proszek do prania zele pod prysznic, posciel i reczniki. Tv z netflixem kominek. Super dla rodzin z dziecmi. Na zyczenie lozeczko dzieciece czy fitelik do karmienia. Kontakt z wlascicielem bezproblemowy i szybki.

Enjoyed our stay here, great communication from host who checked to see if everything was ok. Warm cosy home away from home feel to it. Had everything you'd need, kids loved it too. Plenty of room would stay here again. Great location& i would recommend to anyone.

The property itself was amazing, very spacious with a lovely sauna and fireplace. The location was private and the property had sleds to use for free. The apartment was about 30 mins walk into town centre but Ubers were super easy to use! I couldn’t fault it at all and would love to come back here! The host was very helpful and left clear instructions how to use the sauna etc and also messaged to check everything was okay!

The perfect chalet for our stay! Close to the city and close to the river, if you want to see the northern lights. Very well equiped, you have everything you need.

Really spacious. Good facilities. There were sledges you could borrow. Plenty of dishwashers tables and washing powder. It was nice and warm. I hired a car. It is situated between the main bit of town and the ski slopes. It’s easy to find and drive around.

Everything! It is spacious for 6 people. The kitchen is well equipped and the sauna worked excellent! The host is very responsive, quick with reply, excellent service and friendly! It is also close to the city, but still need to grab an uber during winter season. There’s no problem with finding uber.

Sometimes it gets too cold, maybe because we are not used to the cold temperature, but the host helped us with the heater.

Everything... Described as apartments but found the most beautiful cabin with everything one could need. Perfect for our family of 5, loads of space. Fully equiped. Late check in no problem. Log fire sauna. Safe,quite area. Car parking. Magical,Loved it all.

location was good, about a 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest supermarkets and the nearby city centre. check-in was seamless too and sufficient extra linen was provided as well. balcony view from the apartment was pretty superb too especially at night! kitchen was very well equipped with salt & pepper, oil, coffee etc. it had everything you need for basic cooking.

Home away from home. Had the most lovely time in this quaint and beautiful house. It was like living in a treasure chest, with all the interesting art work and furniture. It is also very spacious. For our family of 5 adults, it was perfect, as everyone had a room to themselves and also have large living spaces. The kitchen was exciting too, fully equipped and stocked with basic cooking ingredients, tea and cofee which we were free to use. The amazing location, right in the center of the town, made us feel comfortable and welcomed as we could easily walk around to the activities and the markets. It was a blessing to have found this apartment. Thanks to the owners for opening such a heartwarming space for us. It made our trip to Finland memorable.

Very cosy and spacious living space. Staff was nice, friendly and communicated promptly with us.

The location is not far from town centre of rovaniemi. Easily accessible if you drive a car. Without a car things might get a bit tricky. For large family, this property really represents great value. You get enough beds for 7 people. Sauna is a nice added feature to heat up and sweat after a long freezing day.

We loved that there was a sauna available and the apartment was spacious enough for our family to relax. It was nice that sleds were available for playing in the snow. A grocery store was about a kilometer away and that was great for grabbing some things to cook in the apartment.

The location is great. We just thought we'd have busses that were closer to the apartment to get to where we wanted to go. So, we walked more than we thought we would, but we didn't mind.

As a group of people without experience up in the north, we were pleasantly surprised by the apartments, as they were much better equipped than we expected. There's enough room to cook & have a dinner with more than 10 people, and the probably most useful thing we didn't even know about was an electrical closet that quickly dries wet clothes - pretty handy with all the snow!

The one and only thing to keep in mind is the distance the apartments are located from the train station. The public transport service is pretty bad, the bus runs only several times each day. On Sunday, there is no service at all - so you end up paying for a taxi or walking the stretch, which is an exhausting experience with a lot of baggage :))
