Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Die Unterkunft ist wirklich unfassbar modern und hervorragend ausgestattet. Besonders schön ist die Lage, denn von hier aus kann man direkt zu tollen Wanderungen aufbrechen, ohne dafür das Auto nutzen zu müssen. Auch bei der Ausstattung bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen, vielleicht bietet die Unterkunft sogar schon fast ein bisschen zu viel. Aber genau das macht den Aufenthalt so angenehm und komfortabel! Der Gastgeber war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt kann ich die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The apartment was very well designed and furnished - high quality appliances and comfortable furniture. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with controls to raise the mattress so you could read in bed. The black marble floors were attractive and had heating (though we did not use it as it was not cold when we stayed). Although it was sub-basement level, everything was so slick and modern well-lit with nice scenery visible from the kitchen and bedroom windows that it did not feel dungeon-like. It was a very quiet location with very little noticeable sound from the house upstairs. It was walking distance from the centre of Åndalsnes, which was handy as we caught a bus to take a long hike.
It was a bit confusing to find but the host sent a link to make it easier.

There was floor heating and ample lighting (important for basement stay). Host provided explanations for everything, was accommodating and resolved issues promptly.
The journey from the train station is a bit far with ups and downs, can be annoying if you have a lot of luggage.

A la televisió (molt granper cert) hio havia Netflix (tot i que no el vaig usar donada la brevedat de la meva estada). Elropietari estava esper<nt la meva arribada i em va explicar tots els detalls de l'apartament amb gran amabilitat.
EL navegador m'enviava a un lloc equivocat (el carrer del cantó). El propietari estava esperant-me allà. probablement deu ssaber que això passa... No sé si hi ha alguna manera d'arreglar-ho...

Loved having a W/D although the washer did not spin enough causing more time in the dryer. Could have been operator error on our part. Communication with the host was timely and sufficient.
There was nothing about the property to not like. Could be a bit tight for tall people to enter the unit but we had no issues.

Arredato con grande classe, in perfetto stile scandinavo: elegante, essenziale ma allo stesso tempo lussuoso e ricercato. La cucina è completa di tutto il necessario, curata nei minimi dettagli. Il letto è tra i più comodi in cui abbia mai dormito. Il bagno è ampio, modernissimo e super accessoriato, con una sorpresa davvero apprezzata: un phon Dyson. Sono presenti macchina per il caffè con capsule, tè e bollitore, dettagli che fanno sentire subito a casa. Tutto era impeccabile: profumato, lucido e perfettamente pulito. Si percepisce una grande attenzione all’ospitalità e alla qualità. Un’esperienza davvero incredibile, una delle strutture più belle in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Consigliatissima.

The address is a little confusing. It’s a little away from main centre which didn’t bother us as we enjoy walking but those who don’t might find it too far away. Also we like sheets not doonas as doonas get too hot. Extra pillows for the bed.

We really loved the interior, the kitchen appliances, the electronic gadgets incl. washer &dryer as well as the high-quality bed – nothing was missing. My tip: it’s well worth staying for a few days to explore the region’s various highlights.

המקום נמצא במרתף הבית- חלונות כמעט סגורים ואין דיי אויר. צ'ק אין משעה 17:00 בלבד, תיקרה נמוכה מאוד שלאנשים גבוהים היא יכולה להיות בעייה.

L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario ed è dotato di più comfort di quanto ci aspettassimo, è pulito, arioso, caldo e Il letto è comodo e abbastanza largo per due persone, quindi abbiamo riposato e dormito benissimo. Le strutture sono moderne e tutto funziona perfettamente. Aspirapolvere e phon Dyson! Shampoo, balsamo. Elettrodomestici da cucina Smeg Grazie al padrone di casa, si è davvero impegnato. Tutto fantastico.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Die Wohnung ist in neuwertigem Zustand und hochwertig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Jedes Zimmer hat separat regelbare Fußbodenheizungen und auch funktioniell ist alles da. Zudem ist die Wohnung makellos sauber.
Hier gibt es nichts zu erwähnen. ;)

Reviewed May 6, 2026What an exceptional place to stay. We loved the apartment with plenty of room. The heated floors were great and we loved the bed that you could raise up to watch TV. Lighting was sufficient ever though it was underground. We only had 1 night but wished we had stayed more.
Needed to supply maybe a baking dish for oven, some food tongs, and oven mits as we had to use a teatowel to get the tray out if oven. But this is only minor as we only had 1 night.

Hosts are really lovely and very helpful. The flat is decorated to a very high standard, the kitchen is perfectly kitted out for simple catering. Bed is very comfortable and there is a small table and chairs if you eat in. Highly recommend would stay again.
This is a great flat, nothing negative to report.

Prestige equipment, including a great Bosh washing machine and dryer. Having the best bed ever besides my bed. Quiet and quirky. Perfectly clean. Spacious. Happy and welcoming vibe. Having free Netflix (which should be a no-brainer in many places, but hosts do not always think intelligently). The location is great too, easy to find and to park, less than five minutes from everything, including supermarkets and the town centre.
We only stayed two nights, should have stayed longer.

Reviewed May 30, 2025It was exceptional, the attention to detail is obvious, the comfort of the guests is first and foremost. The washer and dryer were a godsend after many days on the road, there is a full size fridge freezer and cooking equipment. The walk to town is 5 minutes for the cable car and Golden train and there are walking trails. Our hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and very kind helping with the washing machine.

Reviewed Oct 22, 2024Well host was amazing. Explained most things for how everything operated in apartment. We've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's around the world but this is one of the most modern and best equipped we've ever stayed in. Very spacious with everything you could need. Didn't need any adjustments on the super comfortable bed and pillows (which apparently was adjustable) because we were so tired after a long day. Sadly we were only there for about 14 hours but I would highly recommend. Make sure to follow host's GPS instructions. Entrance is on the main street not around the back where google maps sends you.
So as I said we were super tired. Host explained how to work the washing machine and dryer. Saw the signs above the machines after we'd started our load. What he forgot to mention was the extra fees for both. Understandable but wish he'd mentioned that as the payment system was too hard for us to work out being dinosaurs. Ended up leaving euros over and above because that was the only cash we had and their machines were very new and clean. Just had to clean the lint filter in dryer which I do routinely.
