Chalet Pfyffer - Mountain view

The host was lovely and welcoming, the location was fantastic and it was brilliant value for money. The chalet has everything you could need for self catering. It was just perfect and really made our trip. My mum and I really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here. It was clean, spacious and well equipped to cook. Had breakfast out in the front on one of the days too. It’s a short walk to the bus stop and close to town. Would stay here again if we could

We loved our stay at the chalet! We spent 1 week, and we immediately felt like home! You are right in the mountains, with a magnificent view to the mountains The chalet has plenty of space, super clean, the beds are heaven, and ideally located 5mn by car to the city center. When you register, you receive the Guest card from the Grindewald city,that gives you free access to the bus. There is a bus stop almost right in front of the chalet, that will take you up to Gross Scheidegg, or down to the city center of Grindelwald. And last: our host Marianne: what to say except she is the sweetest woman I've ever met! She helps you out to whatever you need, gives you great tips of the Jungfrau area, and she truly is a wonderful person! I strongly recommend this place, trust me, you will love it!'

Groot, mooi appartement, met volledig uitgeruste keuken, lekker bed en een buitenruimte met uitzicht op de prachtige bergen. De hosts zijn hardstikke lief en behulpzaam. Er is een fondue pan aanwezig (ga dit doen!!). Je kan je auto parkeren bij het huis. Alles was perfect. Grindelwald is ook een prachtige plek om te verblijven, elke keer rijden naar de accommodatie was je ogen uitkijken.

Outside of the crowded tourist area, but an easy walk or free bus ride into town for activities and shopping. Trees and mountains and quiet, with a burbling brook as a background. Apartment in a home but with a separate entrance. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Warm and cozy. Marienne, the hostess, was super-friendly and helpful. Very Swiss vibe.

A little hard to find after dark.

호스트분도 친절하시고 모든 것이 만족스러웠습니다. 숙소가 높은 위치에 있어서 더더욱 전망도 좋고 조용해서 편하게 잘 쉬었습니다. 숙소도 깨끗하고 1층을 전체 다 사용하기 때문에 매우 큽니다. 식기류도 모두 갖춰져있습니다.(숟가락 포크 칼 도마 컵 와인잔 접시 냄비 후라이팬 기타등등 엄청 많아요) 전자레인지 있고 냉장고 있습니다. 침구도 푹신하고 온수, 수압, 배수상태도 좋습니다. 욕실엔 핸드워시만 있습니다 세면용품 챙겨가세용 아래 후기중에 욕실에서 코드가 없다고 말씀하셨는데 거울 뒤 수납장 열면 우측 상단에 있습니다:) 사실 제가 제일 걱정했던 부분은 중앙역에서, 중앙역으로의 이동이었습니다. 매일 탔던 121번 버스는 항상 제시간에 오고 기사님들 모두 친절하십니다 아쉬웠던 점에 시간 만 참고해주세용 정말정말 만족스러웠습니다!

높은 위치라 그린델 발트 반홉에서 버스 막차가 6시 44분이고 그 직전 시간이 1시간 전입니다 아침엔 7시 2분자 다음이 1시간 뒤인 8시 2분차라 1시간 간격이 아니라 일정관리에 참고하세용 일반적으로 30분 간격으로 운행하구요. 그래서 들어갈때, 나올때 시간은 신경쓰시는게 좋습니다.

De locatie is heerlijk buiten het dorp, maar net te ver om te voet te gaan. De prijs van het appartement vinden wij veel te hoog, maar alle prijzen in Zwitserland liggen hoog en in Grindelwald nog hoger dan elders. Deze accommodatie zit nog aan de onderkant van de prijsrange. Maar dat weet je als je in deze omgeving wil verblijven.

We had a lovely stay at this 10 out of 10 chalet. Marianne and Erwin were kind and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped - we had everything we needed. The location worked well for us too, with easy bus access to town (just a few minutes ride). We particularly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views - perfect for relaxing after a day out. A great base for exploring the area - we'd happily stay here again! Highly recommended!!

Marianne is a warm hearted person who is willing to share her view and also know how to protect the privacy of her guests. Thanks for her hard work and accomdation!

Perfect place when you want to visit Grindelwald, you can take the bus, from bus stop nearby the apartment, or you can just walk around 20/30 minutes, with amazing views. The room was very big, we had our own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, so you can also prepare your meals here, and you don't have so you don't have to buy all in restaurants 😉 and sometimes prices are pretty high. There is place, where you can sit outside and just listen the nature. Private parking is big enough. Perfect place! And very nice people!

I was on a 12 day trip across Switzerland, Austria and Italy and stayed at 6 different locations including 5-star hotels such as Hyatt and Marriott. However, this incredible Chalet was easily the best accommodation in the entire trip. It is located in a quiet corner of Grindelwald but super easily accessible via the local bus, which runs every 30 minutes. The house is located in such a scenic location, right next to the Eiger and other incredible mountains, with green rolling fields. The host is the most amazing, friendly and warm person you'll ever meet. The location is great as it's a little further away from the main Grindelwald center. But this is perfect as. you enjoy the absolutely spectacular views from here and the bus takes you straight to Grindelwald and Grindelwald Terminal (for the Eiger Express) and other locations, so it's super convenient to get anywhere. There is a restaurant 5 minutes away (though I wouldn't recommend it), but if you walk a little bit more (around 15 mins), there are other options. I would recommend getting some food from the grocery store as the kitchen is perfect! I am so glad that I ended up selecting this incredible charming place since it was absolutely perfect!

Amazing mountain view at any time, cozy and spacious home, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. It is further away from town (Grindelwald Bahnhof), but if you plan your time wisely (catch the local bus’ timings), it is very accessible!

The bed frame creaks but it’s not a big issue

This is an amazing property nestled in beautifully village with Mountain View. The host Marianne really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The accommodation is clean and got all the amenities for comfortable stay. It’s I think over a 1 km from center but got good bus Connectivity to all attractions and ski centres. I would definitely stay here on my next visit.

We loved our stay here! Marianne was very warm, welcoming and friendly. She advised us on some local walks we could do as that's what we enjoyed doing. The property was clean and had all the ammenities we needed as we cooked our own dinners in the chalet. The beds were comfortable and the room very dark in the evening to aid with sleeping. No noises at all. This place is located very near to a bus stop that takes you all the way into Grindelwald.

Marianne is so through.The chalet is close to the bus station .You can go to the main road easily.It's a nice place to stay.

The view was amazing, and the covered patio is a great way to enjoy the mountain view.The hosts were very helpful, assisting us with a complimentary local travel pass for our stay and printing train tickets for us.. The kitchen was very functional, with tea, coffee, spices, and oils included. The local bus drops off/picks up very close to the property, runs twice per hour, and the ride is only about 10 minutes. The unit is modern, clean, and very inviting.

We did not have a rental car and relied on public transportation. The last local bus runs at 6 44pm, so we could not go on long excursions for fear of being stranded. Also, there was no access to laundry facilities, which is so helpful when travelling. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Marianne was lovely, very helpful. Right next to an excellent long red piste, and a cool bar (closes when sun goes down so doesn’t cause any noise). Easy bus to First Bahn. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine, fondue kit and dishwasher.

Extremely nice and helpful landlord. Very clean. Right next to a bus station that brings you to the train station and all the ski facilities. A bit out of town, very good to escape the hustle of the center.
