Lovely well-equiped top floor(s) apartment, with stunning views of the Eiger and surrounding area, in a quiet location (though on the Trottibike route in the day). We got used to the steep 5min walk up the road from the bus stop (they mostly run half-hourly), with heavy shopping, but the views made it all worth it. Washing machine was useful.

With no car or bike and it being a 35min walk to the centre we relied on the buses and were surprised to learn that they finished by 7pm, making dinner in the town tricky with either a long uphill walk walk or a taxi (which needs to be pre-booked in advance) to get back afterwards. If you have a car or (e)bikes then this won't be worry.

Stunning views! Great layout and beautiful space.

No AC which would be fine to leave the windows open but there are no screens so there were bugs everywhere so we couldn’t sleep well. A fan to help with stagnant air would make a significant difference in the summer.

The place was clean and beautiful!

You do have to walk up the hill, but it's a pleasant view as you go.

Spectacular view off the balcony, great for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Spacious, well thought out floor plan. Shower has fabulous water pressure and plenty of hot water.

It wasn't a problem, but the house is a steep uphill climb from the village. There is one parking spot and limited street parking (just FYI).

Alles war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Aussicht ist super! Ist auch sehr ruhig in der Unterkunft. Parkplatz befindet sich direlt vor der Haustür.

Während des Sommerbetriebs fährt der Bus leider nur bis ca. 19 Uhr. Hatte mich leider nicht gut genug informiert über den ÖV Betrieb.

Gemütlich renoviert im Alpine Chalet Stil an fantastischer Lage, mit wunderbar gemütlichen Betten und allem was eine Ferienwoche sonst bequem macht.

We had a very comfortable and simply lovely stay! The apartment is super clean, beautifully decorated, cozy and has everything you need for your stay (including a hair dryer with diffuser - a rare treat out of home for my curls!). The view of the valley and the mountains is amazing! You can’t get enough with the morning coffee or the evening aperitif. Great place for a mountain escape!

Spectacular views over grindelwald. Easy access to bus stop for bus 121 which is free and takes you to the key spots. Parking provided 50m prior to the property. Laundry and washing machine available in the basement. Good base to explore Jungfrau region from.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The chalet is beautiful, spotless, and extremely well maintained. It is very cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a family needs. The location is excellent, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, while still being convenient. We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The property is amazing! So cosy and warm. The view is second to none and the amenities are great, everything you need. Also the hosts are exceptional, great communication and directions. I would 100% stay here again.

Can’t really fault the place other than the pillows could be bigger/firmer. But that’s nothing really.

Beautiful chalet with breathtaking views The moment you walk through the door, you’re stunned by the amazing view from the windows and balcony—it’s truly unforgettable. The chalet is in a quiet, peaceful area, so we slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. The upstairs bathroom is newly renovated, and there were more than enough towels for every guest, which we really appreciated. The whole place is spotless, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking. A variety of board games are provided, though we were lucky to have such perfect weather that we spent most of our time outdoors. The chalet is about a 10-minute drive from Grindelwald center. At the time of our visit, a section of the road was under construction, making the last stretch a bit tricky to navigate, but it looked like the work was nearly finished. Overall, a beautiful and comfortable place to stay—we’d love to return!

If we could suggest one improvement, it would be adding insect screens to the living-room windows (there are already screens upstairs). That way, guests could enjoy dinner in the dining area with the mountain breeze and no bugs.

從火車站過來需要搭乘公車，要留意最後一班的公車時間，洗衣機在地下室，不是在自己的房間裡，需要與其他住客共用，有時大家洗衣服的時間會重複，需要等其他住客洗完衣服才能洗，這點不太方便。

Es una casa absolutamente acogedora y preciosa, con todo lo necesario para una estancia espectacular. Queda al lado de un riachuelo y es maravilloso levantarse al sonido del rio y a las impactantes vistas de los Alpes suizos. Incluso se puede ver parte del glaciar desde la casa.

Beautifully decorated and well-equipped apartment with convenient parking and a tremendous view. Great kitchen (it even had oil and spices). Laundry access. Thick, fluffy towels. The hosts have provided a comfortable and thoughtful environment with many nice touches. We would gladly rent it again.

Detour due to road construction was difficult, but that was unavoidable. Excessive noise from the upper apartment was a negative (running children), but that's a case of inconsiderate renters.

Location was fabulous - quiet with an absolutely amazing view. Too far to walk into town though. Chalet was lovely, and very well equipped.

The size of the chalet, attention to detail, amenities, decor and basically everything! It’s a lodge furnished with a lot of love and it shows in every corner. We cooked, ate and laughed together as a family in the perfect mountain getaway

Location from grindlewald town centre - made worse (longer) due to the road construction. Had to come home via taxi every night as the last local bus route ends at 6:30pm

Nice, clean and spacious apartment with an amazing view. Location was excellent. Very calm neighbourhood, but only 4 minute walk to bus stop, or easy 30min to the town center. There was really everything we could have needed in the apartment.

The only downside we could think of, was that the TV doesn't have cable or antenna and screen mirroring outdated. Can really only be used as a dvd-player. Really didn't matter, because we spent all of our time on hiking trails.

Level 1 toilet lighting very dim bathtub infested with ants. Bed too hard and pillow uncomfortable During our 3 night's stay, Living room and bedroom infested with houseflies (after killing more than a dozen) even closing all doors and windows, flies kept coming. No peace in taking meals or even sitting there. when open the windows, moths will fly into the room. Level 2 room ceiling beam too low and got to bend our bodies when moving around. place is stuffy even during the night, as we couldn't open the windows or doors. No air-conditioning. As the result causing all 5 of us sick and we got to drive my 14 years old boy, 2 hours to Bern Inselspital University hospital as the clinic there don't accept children below 15 years old. The laundry room is dirty. Rubbish in the bin not cleared for 3 days till I left the place still no see any housekeeping. only thing available is the Kitchen tissue and only left with less than 1/3 and no one replenished when we arrived till we left. The direction and map to the apartment is blurred, cannot read the road names. Wasted more than 1 hour of our time to find the place. Iron has a dark patch, not usable. when arrival, the wifi router not working, the host sent me a messaging that claiming that we switch off the router. I do not understand why place with 6 apartments only rely on 1 wifi Router. during the 3 days stay, we only use our own wifi which we rented from airport.

The location is fantastic. Up on the slope of a hillock with an unobstructed view of the Eiger all the way to Kleine Scheidegg. One can spend leisurely moments soaking in the charm of the gorgeous montains. The apartment is large and has all the things one might need for a short or medium term stay. It has a washing machine shared by other apartments in the same chalet, adequate cutlery and kitchen ware, coffee machine and coffee pods. It lacks a microwave which would make it easier for guests to heat up premade meals, Being located some distance from the city centre and on the slope of a hillock, there are no shops nearby but has a bus-stop a few hundred metres downhill. In summary, a great apartment to relax and rejuvenate.

Nothing that I did not like. However, my suggestions would be to make sure that the bathrooms have functional locks (with keys) for privacy. One of the bathrooms had the keys missing so the bathroom could not be locked while in use. Secondly, a microwave would come handy. It was already getting warm in the middle of June so would expectedly get a lot warmer during the summer. So, I would also suggest fans for the rooms during the summer time. The windows can be opened but all of them do not have nets so insects and bugs come inside from time to time. My suggestion would be to fix nets on the windows to keep off bugs and insects so that they can be kept open during the warm summer season.

This place is absolutely stunning! The apartment is beautiful, cozy, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The views are breathtaking, and the location is ideal for exploring Grindelwald. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — their hospitality made us feel right at home. Staying here was truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The road access to the apartment was block due to roadworks. It would have been nice if the booking agent would have updated this information on their website. It was terrifying driving around the diversion.

The chalet is clean and have 2 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers. Clean place and super nice view from all 3 sides. Self check in with clear instructions. Easy to communicate with the host through booking messages with fast responses. Washing machine and dryer available in the lower floor. Several attractions near by and all brochures available in the chalet. Super nice message been left for 🌹

Fantastic view of Eiger and Grindelwald. Quiet and with parking. Rustic/cosy interior. Ski piste is actually only 50 meters away.

The view was amazing, the chalet was nice and the owner was very friendly. We had a lot of fun and we will come back

The location and the view from the balcony was breathtaking !

The listing indicated that there was a washer and dryer in unit we were renting , this was not the case. The washer and dryer is in the basement of the facility shared by other occupants and is also coin operated . This was cumbersome as we did not feel comfortable leaving clothes in dryer or washer while we left for activities that were already planned each day we were there . We felt misled when booking and probably wouldn’t have chosen this place because we REALLY needed a washer and dryer after traveling for 10 days without one , we had run out of clothing and were depending on this important feature . One of us had to stay behind during our trip just to do laundry and miss out on a beautiful hike and lunch . Please list washer and dryer location is not in apartment and is also coin operated for full transparency to future guests . Otherwise this home was amazing and the location was beautiful !

Fabulous view of the mountains! Clean and very functional kitchen, had everything we needed. Close to bus stop hence we didn’t feel that we needed a car.

Pillows were very flat, despite stacking 2 pillows together. Crumpled sheets, would be great to have irons sheets instead.

Location was great for us as we had rented a car, parking was convenient. The hosts super helpful and were able to allow us to leave our suitcases etc in before check in and also provided us with recommended restaurants. Very easy to get to the ski lifts from the property and had everything you could need within the chalet. Views were incredible, arguably the best location in the town for this. Thanks very much!

Located in high hills overlooking Grindelwald with breathtaking view, very well equipped apartment with all what family might need. The chalet has direct access to the skiing slope Definitely i will come back again in summer.

There is washing machine in the basement but if it is fitted within the apartment it would be better. The parking assigned for the apartment is 50 m away from the apartment, if it is in front of the chalet it will be better.

Amazing view over Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains, the balcony was just perfect. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with nice furniture, very spacious would fit 6 people easily. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also some cleaning supplies. There were some games and puzzles for us to enjoy.

The stairs going up to the upper floor was a bit confusing, and a bit dangerous, we almost had an accident 😅 you have to be mindful going up or down the stairs. The location is perfect for people with cars, but for us it was a bit far from the town center, and the buses stop working after 7 pm so after that you have to order a taxi which costs between 25-35 francs. The washer/dryer is not inside the apartment, it was in the basement, and also you have to pay with coins so it works ( not very expensive but we had to find coins to use it). Also the garbage bin is not outside the apartment, it was at the nearest bus station which was about 300 meters from the apartment ( but this is everywhere in Grindelwald) The TV in the apartment was very very small, and didn’t work, but I didn’t ask the landlord about it, if I did I’m sure they would have told me how. But with everything said, it was still a beautiful apartment and I would love to visit it again.

The location, especially the view, was incredible. The chalet was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was also near a bus stop which was very handy to get in to Grindelwald and connect to trains and cable cars - we only used the car once all week. The owners were really responsive to any queries we had. It couldn’t be faulted.

Nothing! It would be helpful to be warned in advance that a nightly tourist tax is required to be left in cash, this was an additional CHF200 for a week.

The view over the Grindelwald valley and the Jungfrau mountain range is spectacular. The chalet is very well equipped, in a secluded, very quiet location. The interior smells of wood, which adds to the charm of the site. The master bedroom is very comfortable and spacious. The bedroom with 3 beds, 2 of which are bunk beds, is better suited to young children than teenagers. We had to use the kitchen several times and it's very well equipped: nothing is missing. The on-site speaker makes it easy to connect and listen to your playlists. The wifi works well. Plenty of brochures to help us choose what to see.

Clean, fully equipped, and good base to explore the local area. Lovely views from the chalet. Had a lovely time and would love to return in future.

No faults with the accommodation, but being my first time in Switzerland, I wasn't aware we would have to pay tourist tax, in cash, which was quite expensive on top of everything else. Perhaps guests could be made aware in advance of exactly how much it costs to ensure they bring sufficient currency?

The apartment is big and the view of the mountains was great. The three rooms were very suitable for our family of four. The bathrooms were clean and functional and the kitchen was also very good. The location is very good but I think having a car is essential as the walk from the bus station is not that easy, especially after a long day of activities and also as the bus service ends at 7:00 pm. The parking location is convenient.

A couple of inconveniences are using the laundry facilities; we needed to have 8 CHF in coins to be able to use the washing machine and dryer, but this is not practical. The other thing is the tourist tax which has to be left in a safe box in the apartment in cash. I don't understand why this is not included in the price to avoid the hassle of getting this cash. Occasionally there were some noises from the neighbors in the below apartment and in the apartment on the same floor as well.

The attic ceiling is quite low on the second floor and the apartment does not provide any shampoo and body foam.
