Me encanta todo. Se ha convertido en el sitio al que volveré cada vez que regrese al país. Está literalmente a 2 minutos de la preciosa playa de Punta Rucia, en la acera de enfrente. Hay detalles preciosos en cada rincón que enamoran, todo está pensado y realizado por su maravilloso dueño, Robert. Las casitas están totalmente equipadas con todo lo que uno pueda necesitar, la atención es excepcional, el desayuno es buenísimo y te sientes como en casa desde el primer momento. Sin duda, un lugar especial al que volveré con mucho gusto 💝

Quería hacerles llegar mis comentarios sobre la estancia. Aunque agradecemos enormemente la amabilidad del personal (un 10/10) y la excelente ubicación junto a la playa, nos encontramos con varios inconvenientes que afectaron nuestra experiencia.

​En primer lugar, la limpieza al entrar fue deficiente: encontramos arena en el suelo y en las camas, así como residuos en las esquinas del apartamento. Por otro lado, al estar en la vía principal, el ruido nocturno de la calle es muy elevado, por lo que sugerimos considerar la insonorización de las ventanas. El apartamento tiene un toque rústico pero se siente algo anticuado; una actualización general y un equipamiento de cocina más completo harían una gran diferencia para futuros huéspedes.

Localização, A receptividade

Robert es un gran anfitrión, te hace sentir como en casa, su lema es "hacer que vuelvas". El desayuno es delicioso, un típico dominicano muy completo. El pueblito es tranquilo, hay zonas muy turísticas y otras más tranquilas, para todos los gustos. Cayo arena es preciosooooo!

Las fotos puedes ser más explicitas sobre la ubicación del alojamiento respecto a la playa, la cual es al frente del alojamiento, pero no se logra ver porque hay otras construcciones.

Ecological style, is outstanding.

It has a restaurant on its premises. Very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the beach.

Parking is on the street (right in front of the hotel).

El agua caliente iba y venía… y estaba fría para bañarse.

L'originalité de l'hôtel, l'accueil de Robert sa disponibilité et son personnel. La région, la balade en petit bateau jusqu'au Cayo. Et surtout, le final dans les mengroves où le conducteur nous a fait vivre un moment à la Rambo! Bravo et merci à tous.

El lugar, Punta Rucia.

Pero este hospedaje no lo recomiendo. Con la factura de Booking sin problemas, pero te quieren vender tours al cayo de arena, que fue mi caso, y nos estafaron. Nos enviaron en una barca con un adolescente y un niño, que estaban aprendiendo a llevar una lancha, y que mal rato de viaje... luego cayo arena es precioso. A la vuelta, le comentamos que nuestro tour incluía los manglares, y dicen, "ah sí, ahora vamos". Y nos pasearon por los mangales como si fuera una carrera de F1... no lo disfrutamos nada...

Let me start by saying that this house is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable with hot water and working AC, we reserved the 2 houses and one of them was more than enough for the 2 families. There’s 2 rooms on the first floor and 2 double beds rooms upstairs It had a kitchen that we didn’t use because we ate out One thing that I didn’t know was that every single thing from that rustic house 1 and rustics house 2 the owner (Roberto) was the one who constructed just like the restaurant tables and chairs Our breakfast was served by the owner It was such a pleasure meeting him and can not wait to go back to his new rustic house #3 that is in his plans of start construction on We were there only one day and were heartbroken that couldn’t extend our stay because our days were counted to go to other places which we had reservations already

There’s nothing not to like

Robert and his staff are great hosts. Robert made sure we got the avocado we asked for and shared his delicious mangos with us. We also loved hearing about how the structure was made. Great location and the food was excellent!

The whole apartment is located on top of the restaurant. An excellent Dominican or Continental breakfast is served at the restaurant. The apartment is enormous and fits big groups. The AC works pretty well, so you are never feeling the extreme heat, especially at night. They offer a tour to Cayo Arena which I recommend because it is for your group only, making it a private experience. Overall, our whole group was more than satisfied with Robert and his team's service during our stay.

The place is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. I felt at home because they made me feel at home. Easy to communicate with the owner and staff. I will be returning and recommending!

The apartment is super comfortable, clean and has everything you need, the staff is very kind, friendly, helpful and happy.

Robert and the whole crew were incredible! They booked all of our excursions and cooked us up some delicious meals. I even got sick one night and they made me a delicious chicken soup on the spot. So grateful for them! And the house itself wow Robert built the entire thing himself and is a very talented carpenter!

It wasn’t about the property or the staff but we did all unfortunately get sick, probably from uncooked vegetables washed in tap water. Just be extra careful.

Robert and his whole staff provided service out of this world. We really felt at home . We will deffinately be visiting again soon !

Awesome hotel - I will definitely stay here again, the host and everyone were great, felt like family.

The house is beautiful and unique. Very clean and the staff is incredible.

It was unique, fun and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and gave great advice about how to best enjoy the area.

Roberto place was very clean and have everything I need and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable .would totally stay egain recommended 100%.

Pictures do no justice to this property. It’s even more stunning in person. If you’re looking for a cozy and relaxing vacation this is the place to stay!! The hosts are absolutely amazing and make you feel right at home.

Rustic House is located in the centre of Punta Rucia. Very large living areas with bathroom and kitchen. in our apartment could stay at least 8 to 12 people. Nothing was missing. Everything was very clean and also very quiet. The staff was always very helpful and hardworking. The kindness of everyone working there was amazing. Breakfast was prepared every day with love. The owner, Robert, is a real buddy type. Very helpful, with very good English. We spent 5 days there, and would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone. If we should come back to Punta rucia at some point, then there is only one choice. At robert you can also book a boat trip to the small Cayo Arena, which we can highly recommend. The price performance ratio is absolutely in line here. Many greetings go to Robert, Nori, Kathrin, Tito (El Capitano) Alexander, and the whole team from the Rustic House. Finally, a small recommendation from us for dinner. A little a minute from the hotel is the cozy restaurant with the names,,damaris,, there you can eat very cheap and very good.

Love everything about it from the rustic house design of the place down to the workers and it being just a few steps away from the beach couldn't ask for more will definitely be going back also roberto was an amazing host took care of me and my family anything we needed he was there and always on call great hospitality..thank you roberto.

Everything was great the only thing is it needs an extra restroom for the amount of people staying and a wall fan in the Living room area to keep it cool even though you are going to want to spend most of your time at the beach i loved Everything about this place..

Food was good - both breakfasts and special meal ordered after their arranged boat trip out to Cayo Arena and then the mangroves for the morning - memorable day - great staff. Centralized location - short walk to store and food/drink. Nearby sound of local music great ambience. Highly recommend them over alternatives in Punta Rucia.

there isn’t anything my family and I didn’t like. treated very well by the owner and staff. comfortable sleeping arrangements, breakfast was great, near local eateries shops, and specially boat rentals for excursions out on the water.
