Light House

It was ideally located and the surroundings were very peaceful. Also, it was well stocked. Most places have a little bit of coffee, some water and one or two rolls of toilet paper for example. this place had enough water, coffee, and toilet paper to last for months. The kitchen had all the utensils one needs for cooking.

Paikan omistaja Ahmed, loistava mies. Ensimmäisenä aamuna hän vei minut kaupunki kierrokselle, esitteli kaupungin ja palvelut. Ahmed tarjosi minulle paikallisen aamiaisen, järjesti minulle paikallisen sim-kortin puhelimeen, rahanvaihto ja pakolliset ostokset, mitä tarvitsin saavuttuani Egyptiin. Muiden kommenttien mukaan Ahmed tarjoaa tätä "lisäpalvelua" ja vielä ilmaiseksi. Opastukset rannoille ja snorklaukseen, veneretket, taksit, etc.....kaikki löytyy Ahmedilta. Olen matkustanut noin 50:ssä eri maassa ja joissakin maissa useamman kerran. Missään en ole tavannut henkilöä, joka olisi opastanut ja huolehtinut asiakkaista kuten Ahmed. Fate una statua ad Ahmed (proprietario del posto)!! Posto bellissimo e caratteristico, molto curato e ordinato. Fatto tutto da lui. Super accogliente. Poi Ahmed super disponibile e simpatico, fa rendere tutti più divertente. Appena arrivati, ci ha fatto fare un breve tour del paese in macchina, facendoci vedere i posti principali di cui potevamo aver bisogno (per fare la SIM del telefono, market ecc ) . Ci ha trovato lui la macchina da affittare ad un prezzo conveniente rispetto a quello che avevamo trovato sui siti. Volevamo fare un esperienza in quad nel deserto ed ha organizzato tutto lui e ad un prezzo super vantaggioso anche quello (confermato dai prezzi di altri turisti con cui ci è capitato di aver a che fare). L'ultimo giorno poi ci è capitato di rimanere impantanati con l'auto nella sabbia / fango in una spiaggia, abbiamo chiesto con lui se poteva darci una mano, ed in men che non si dica, è arrivato con funi e 4x4 e ci ha tirati fuori. Grazie Ahmed ! È stato uno spettacolo conoscerti e stare nei tuoi alloggi! 🙏🏻

Ahmed a construit un superbe lieu à Marsa Alam. Il y'a de belles choses à découvrir autour de Marsa Alam et j'espère que comme nous, vous pourrez nager avec un Dugong. Ahmed est vraiment génial. On a vraiment apprécié nos échanges et quelques moments partagés ensemble.

The apartment was perfect. It’s very comfortable and spacious. Achmed is very friendly and helpful. He showed us around in Marsa Alam. That was very nice. The apartment is very clean with a good bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, large living room and a balcony with seaview. The environment is not very inspiring. Most of the buildings aren’t finished. Besides that it’s a quiet area and we had a great time and recommend this accommodation.

The accomodation is amazing for anyone who looks for a quiet, nice and comfortable apartement in Marsa alam. Ahmed was very helpful with everything during our time there. We had an amazing stay at lighthouse apartements! 😊

L'host che ha saputo aiutarci e soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. L'appartamento comodo e completo di tutto quel che serve per un soggiorno piacevole. La posizione tranquilla ma a pochi passi dal centro della cittadina di Marsa Alam.

L'hôte est extrêmement sympathique et prêt à rendre service, dès notre arrivée. L'appartement est propre, et tout est au niveau attendu (matelas confortable, douche propre et fonctionnelle, idem pour la cuisine)... Il y a quelques restaurants de bonne qualité à proximité.

Le seul problème est la localisation, certes on se trouve en front de mer, mais il n'est pas très simple d'aller en centre ville (pas de route éclairée sur une partie et chiens errants, certes gentils mais quand même). Il y a de nombreux bâtiments en construction aux alentours, ce n'est pas bruyant mais ça donne parfois l'impression d'être sur un chantier. Ce n'est pas lié au logement mais il faut avoir conscience qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à voir / faire autour de Marsa Alam, et la ville elle même n'est pas très intéressante. Soit la plage vous suffit, soit vous devez faire des excursions (principalement du snorkeling/plongée).

Big, beautiful and detailed apartment! Very comfortable bed, great bathroom and clean kitchen with anything you would need (towels, soap, dishwashing supplies, sponge, salt, pepper, oil, etc). Attentive, thoughtful host who anticipates needs, makes guests feel welcome, comfortable, and at home, focusing on connection over perfection. Our recommendation: you are better off with a car as its around 20min walk from the center.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet, hat einen schönen Innenhof und ist nah am Meer. Man kann gut auch mit frisch eingekauften Sachen kochen. Das Haus ist wirklich das Schönste in Marsa Alam und man spürt die Liebe zum Detail und zum Land. Der Betreiber Ahmed ist unglaublich hilfsbereit. Er hat uns in allen Dingen beraten und geholfen, Taxis fair ausgehandelt (sogar noch während der Fahrt mit den Fahrern alles großartig telefonisch geklärt) und gleich zu Beginn eine kleine Stadttour gemacht, so dass wir danach super klar kamen. Die von ihm organisierte Tour (nur wir mit einem Beduinen) traumhaft, da wir jederzeit Stops machen könnten, mit weiteren Beduinen vor Ort in Kontakt kamen und tolles Essen in der Wüste bekamen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt verlängert und würden jederzeit wieder bei ihm buchen.

I literally loved everything from the moment I arrived, unfortunately i discovered on my last day that right in front of the lighthouse one of the best diving and snorkelling spots, you just have to keep going until the shallow water ends, also Ahmed the owner is such an incredible character, my friends and I loved chatting with him every morning, will definitely be back again.

It was a very nice trip. When I arrived at the apartment, the owner welcomed me with some fruit and even gave me a free ride to show me around the area and introduce some local restaurants and market. He was so friendly and warm!!! During my stay, I contacted him several times through WhatsApp, and he always replied quickly. He also helped me by calling a restaurant to order delivery food for me. The place was clean, comfortable, and of good quality. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable grâce à l’accueil chaleureux d’Ahmed. Dès notre arrivée, ils nous a fait visiter Marsa Alam, nous a accompagné faire nos courses et nous a donné des contacts pour le bon déroulement de notre séjour. Le logement est très confortable et agréable, situé à proximité des restaurants, magasins et des routes principales pour se rendre aux différentes plages. Un grand merci pour ce fabuleux séjour !

住到了很干净，很温馨的民宿。外观很特别，房间内非常干净整洁，设施齐全，厨房的工具特别全，可以做饭，包括防蚊喷雾还有防晒喷雾！！民宿老板很热情，我们找不到卖啤酒的地方，民宿老板开车带我们去，帮我们预定追海豚和儒艮的一日游并且价格也很便宜，民宿的小院子很干净，晚上坐在院子里吹吹风很惬意。民宿的位置在马萨小镇，去镇上买东西特别方便，非常推荐！下次来一定还会选择这里！！

The owner was super nice and even showed us the city and brought us to the bus when we left.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Lighthouse. The apartment itself was simply perfect: Clean, with all facilities and a very nice terrace for breakfast. Ahmed, the owner, is an incredibly friendly, helpful and honest guy with an easy-going and pragmatic attitude. Marsa Alam itself was a bit strange for us, because of the street dogs but with good planning and the help of Ahmed you will have a great stay. We can recommend planning day trips for example to Abu Dabbab or Sataya. Thanks again for everything, we wish you the best Ahmed!

My host, Ahmed was the highlight. He is friendly, welcoming, and a very interesting person. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything required (including a fully stocked kitchen, and a fruit and goodies basket). The Wifi worked well and I could see the sea from my apartment. I had the most relaxing stay. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again on my next Marsa Alam visit.

We had a GREAT Stay! Starting by the Booking: communication was authentic, clear and fast. The house we stayed in was clean, tidy and it has a very nice flair. We received a good orientation Tour (city, beaches and diving Spots) !Free of Charge! The owner Mr. Ahmed is very professional, reliable and very friendly. His network and recommendations (Taxi, Restaurants, etc…) were very reliable. Top place & service!!! NOTE: Marsa Alam in total is still developing construction. Still the lively underwater world and pristine beaches did compensate it.

The apartment is beautifully made very good taste and all new. There is everything you could need and you can feel the attention to the details that Ahmed, the owner, had for making your staying easy and beautiful. The owner is such a kind and friendly soul, he was so helpful for everything and gave us a tour to buy things the first day. We totally loved him!

A wonderful stay! The apartment is modern, clean, spacious and fully equipped - it’s even better than the photos! Ahmed the host is friendly and accommodating and is happy to help with any questions or problems (like accidentally leaving the key in the apartment at 10pm!) He also offered a welcome tour of the city for supermarket, ATM and restaurant recommendations. Everything was perfect and the local scuba diving is wonderful. Hope to come back again soon!

Clean, new apartments, unique and very appealing design

The house is situated on a very silent spot. If you looking for a silence place, you will find it here. The atmosphere in the house is great. All.the small details make it very lovely. The shower was always hot and with good pressure. The kitchen was good equipment. The bed was very good quality. Achmed also showed me one of the best beach on earth and also nice restaurant. Thank you so much💕
