La tranquilidad y comodidad del lugar

La comunicación fue bastante poco fluida. Nadie estaba pendiente de confirmarnos si podíamos hacer el check-in a la hora que llegábamos, todo muy impersonal...Dejaron sin responder nuestros mensajes durante bastante tiempo, lo que nos generó sensación de incertidumbre. La tv no funcionaba, y el wifi a veces. Indicamos nuestra hora de checkout (10 am) para poder coincidir y efectuar pago, pero nos escribieron algo antes de las 6 de la mañana!, cuando estábamos descansando, para decir si podían venir a cobrarnos a las 8:30... Al final mandaron a un chico adolescente a cobrarnos...

There was a kitchen with all necessary equipment and all of them were very clean. They also had a good wifi connection.

The bathtub wasn't useful because there was a very slow water flow in the tap.

The location was really nice and calm, perfect for a relaxing stay. The place was very spacious, with a large room and a big, clean bathroom. The kitchen was also well-equipped and convenient. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience

Really enjoyed the stay here. It feels more like a private apartment than a typical hotel, which made the whole experience very comfortable and relaxed. The place was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The owner lives just across the road and is very friendly and helpful, but also respects guests’ privacy, so you can enjoy your stay without any disturbance. The environment is quiet and peaceful, perfect if you want a calm place to unwind. Overall, a great spot and I’d happily recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A generously sized apartment with air con and a modern bathroom. Complimentary water. Good eating places nearby. Okay for a short stay.

It was a little difficult to find, down a side street, but it worked out. Unfortunately, the complimentary tea was loose tea without filters or a tea pot. Worse still, the sugar jar was crawling with ants! And there was no toilet roll.

Apartamento muy funcional. Cuenta con un salon comedor y una habitación donde hay dos camas de matrimonio. El propietario es muy atento y te ayuda con cualquier cosa que necesitas. A destacar lo limpio que estaba todo.

クルネーガラの中心にあり、徒歩5分程度のところにスーパーマーケット（Keels）やコーヒーショップ、レストランが沢山あります。 お部屋は広く、清潔で、設備が充実していました。 温水シャワーやエアコン、洗濯機もついてこの価格はかなり安いです。 またクルネーガラに行くことがあれば必ずここに泊まりたいです。

We stayed at the apartment and it was very clean, exactly as described in the photos. The environment is peaceful and calm, and the owner is very friendly. There are supermarkets, vegetable shops, and everything needed for cooking located nearby. Highly recommended

There was no room cleaning and I had to message to get the trash taken away.

L'hôte a été très serviable et m'a donné des précieux conseils sur la suite de mon voyage (par WhatsApp) La chambre est grande et la petite cuisine bien pratique.

Great stay especially if you are staying for a couple of days as it has everything you might need. We only stayed one night, but it would be the type of house I would rent for a whole week.

Minor problem, nothing that would stop me from booking again: Needed to call to get the check in instruction and had to wait the departure morning for someone to collect the payment. Nothing longer than 30 min

Velice příjemné a naprosto dostačující ubytování, s vybavenou kuchyní a využili jsme i pračku. ,V docházkové vzdálenosti od autobusu. Bezproblémová komunikace s majitelem, který nám dal spoustu doporučení a tipů na další cesty. Určitě doporučuji při vaší cestě.

The host was very professional and followed up throughout the stay on our needs.

Very nice apartment with everything you need. We were there on Sinhala and Tamil New Year's Day. In the evening, we lit firecrackers with the host. Everyone had a great time. PS The Avukana Buddha statue is the prettier one.

Spacious, friendly owner, fully equipped (3 ceiling fans, 1 AC, full kitchen, washing machine). Surrounded by greenery despite being in the centre of town. Good value for money 👍

The little kitchen, the patio doors in the bedroom and the washing machine. It was near to shops.

The bedding was a bit rough to touch and not very good pillows.

A nice apartment comprising a kitchen, a bedroom (with two large beds, air con, and ceiling fans), and a bathroom. Quiet location. Very nice family own the place. We were able to leave our bags before checking in.

It would be nice to have an area to sit comfortably (like a sofa). There is not much to do in the area.

Apartment was big with separate rooms for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. AC is in the bedroom only. The two double beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook simple meals. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Location is very peaceful with groceries just a 2 minute walk to the right on Buddalauka road. Strongly recommend and I will be back.

Very basic facilities, not value for money

We found the address quickly and easily. The family were very welcoming and kind. The apartment was big, clean, perfect for a family. What we liked most was that we had a fully equipped kitchen to cook in and a washing machine so we could wash our clothes for free. There are shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend!

While the kitchen has most of the tools you may need to prepare food I arrived to a kitchen without a single spice, oil, tea bag, anything that every person cooks with. Which is unusual considering people stay here often. So having a black hole of stuff like this is not a good reflection, I certainly left almost a full bottle of oil and some spices and tea behind and would be surprised if the next person receives it. Also, mosquitoes were free to feed so this out a net not plug in the wall. The communication is also very distanced, not friendly and all about the money - I was asked to pay before even seeing the room or putting my bags down.

Room was very comfortable and clean as well as the host was very friendly and helpful.

Overall stay was good. However the bathroom had a bad odour.

Located in a side lane (cul-de-sac), a two level house with our room on the top floor. Good access to shops and eateries in the neighbourhood. Comfortable beds, clean toilet, minimalistic kitchenette.

Access to the top floor is by a steep external staircase, a little bit difficult when carrying heavy luggage.

Well equipped apartments with washing machine. First I was downstairs, then could move upstairs, which offers nicer balcony and garden view. The owner was not there, when I arrived, although I texted the exact arrival time before, he told me later I should have called when I arrive. So better also call for checkin. A barista coffee place is 5 min to walk and also a supermarket, local fruit and vegetable shops close by.

The owner asks to give 10 marks after checking out, it is “very good” but not unique. So I like to keep ratings honest. Construction site behind the apartment and it was a bit to walk to the town centre.

Onwer being very helpful person to arrange my transport. Fast respond to my request and very helpful during my stay. Suppose can accommodate 4 persons in the room.

Very friendly and helpful indeed. Eventhough we arrived way later than what we thought we would, he made sure to stay up and check on us and made sure that we got access to the apartment with no hassle at all. I would definitely recommend and book it again

Few yards off the main road so it was lovely and quiet but the convenience of everything you need on your doorstep. Pleasant space. Enjoyed having a couple of window mosquito nets because we could have the windows open all day and night. There was ac in the large bedroom. Well kitted out kitchen. Nice to have a place that is correctly advertised.

Accommodation had all, what is need for pleasant stay. Full equipment kitchen and other rooms either. For longer stay is useful the washing machine located in bathroom. Also high review for the location. Restaurants, supermarkets and other shops, all near by.

Warm watter for shower almost didn’t flow.

The personal service of the manager and the staff. They were really good and had the best qualities of the hoteliers.

Very well equipped cottage in a lovely quiet location and we have had a great time. Done several all-day long walks and it was a comfy place to return to each evening and rest aching legs! One of the best cottages we have stayed in and we've already recommended it to friends.

Cottage 23 is placed in heart of the town. even though its in the middle of the town once you get in to the property you feel like living in a village. so calm, surrounded with greenery. Trees are there every where. I got up in the morning and had a look around. herd the sound of little birds, which made the morning so live. friendly Host, excellent location. closer to all the super markets and food stalls. Very clean kitchen, equipment's and specially very clean Toilets made me so attractive. The service offered by the host is excellent. all the amenities were there , felt like living at my own Home. highly secured and privacy was excellent. I recommend Cottage 23 to all the local and foreign travelers to have a stop, Once of the excellent places I stayed...!!!!!
