Kandyan Reach Hotel

This a lovely hotel. We stayed one night to break a long journey and doing so allowed us to visit the large Buddha statue on the hill and Silver Temple. The hotel is comfortable and we enjoyed using the swimming pool and the dinner buffet. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Struttura scelta perché vicino all’autostrada è comoda a metà strada tra sygiria e colombo dove avremmo preso il volo la mattina dopo, ci siamo trovati molto bene, camera ampia e dotata di tutti i comfort, possibilità di usufruire della piscina finì alle 20.30 di sera, servizio in camera per la cena buona ed economica.

We really loved staying here. We received the warmest welcome and throughout our stay, the entire staff team made a huge effort to ensure we did not want for anything - they were also so personable and we somehow felt part of the hotel family after only 2 nights here. The highlight was the effort made when I discreetly asked if they could somehow put on a birthday surprise for my partner: a cake with candle and birthday writing was produced at breakfast with 5 staff singing Happy Birthday and the bed then secretly being decorated beautifully and most artistically - it blew us away! I would like to particularly thank Nelum, Chandana, Hashini and Drishan for their attentiveness. The pool is also gorgeous, the food very good (best breakfast we have had here so far, esp. the local ‘porridge’ eaten by workers before they go on the fields) and the room extremely comfortable. Thank you!

Really a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, rooms very clean and quiet, the pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was good. Also we asked for a baby cot and it was waiting for us on arrival. Smooth communication.

Das Kandyan Reach war super für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp. Das Zimmer groß, alles sehr sauber. Gute Lage, man ist ruckzuck mitten in der Stadt. Es hat einen tollen Pool. Und das beste, wir waren zufällig am Valentinstag dort und haben das Valentines-Dinner mitgemacht. So liebevoll geschmückt, ein wunderbares Buffet und sogar eine Rose für jede Dame - ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.

A little too far to walk into town

Great big room with a beautiful view, nice hotel, big pool. A good place to stop as we crossed over the country on a big travel day. We'd stay here again.

The staff at Kandyan Reach went above and beyond for us! We were only staying for 1 night because the location was convenient for our day trip, but they decorated our bed with the most magnificent peacock display, and even gave us a celebration cake! The food at the restaurant was very tasty, and breakfast was huge! The swimming pool was also a huge bonus. We were so impressed with this Hotel

Es ist ein Provinzhotel, in das kaum Touristen kommen. Die Lage läßt sich am Besten mit verkehsgünstig bechreiben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und funktional eingrichtet. Der Pool zwischen den Gebäuden wir sauber gehalten und es gibt 2 Liegen. Für einen Fahrer gibt es Unterkunft ohne Zusatzkosten.

. Die Bettlaken waren bei Ankunft zerrissen, wurden aber auf Wunsch ausgetauscht! Das Personal gibt sich Mühe, tut sich aber bei Extrawünschen etwas schwer.

Die Größe des Zimmers ist sensationell, das Bett, die Matratze sehr komfortabel. Kaffee und Tee Zubereitung ist möglich.

Die Lage direkt an der Durchgangsstraße, dadurch ist es sehr laut

Our room didn’t look as new anf shiny as in the pictures. However it was alright for one night.

Okay…we are part of a tuk tuk tournament and stay in new places every night. Today we travelled through Yala, and came here. It’s brand new. I think we are the only guests staying here tonight and maybe the 3rd group who has been here since they opened. Sooooo accommodating, so nice, so pleasant! Prices are great. The pool is amazing. Had beers by the pool and then dinner and everything was just so good. Staff is awesome. I really only have nice things to say. Come stay here!!!

The staff were absolutely lovely. The food was beautiful and the hotel was a real surprise. Beautiful pool area as well as a tranquil casual sitting area with a pond full of large fish. There were several sitting areas. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. Very cold air conditioner, room service, and pleasant surroundings. Very close to the train station to Colombo.

It is located near Kurunegala town. Easy access via central expressway. Staff is very friendly. Clean and nice. Overall, stay is super satisfying.

From the moment we arrived, all the staff were extremely helpful and courteous in accommodating our needs. The room was large with a nice balcony and a comfy bed. The breakfasts were excellent. We tried the Sri Lankan and a western breakfast, and on the day we left, we had an "express" breakfast. All good. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was fine but there are also other options close by. The hotel is located a short walk from the railway station and a 20 min walk into town. The swimming pool was a real bonus as it was lovely, plus it was partly shaded in the afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Ordnung und Sauberkeit wird in diesem Hotel groß geschrieben. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut. War jetzt zum zweiten Mal in kürzester Zeit da hatte da nichts auszusetzen aber alles okay

Begeistert war ich nicht vom Frühstück und vom Abendbrot. Da müsste sich vor internationale Gäste eigentlich in diesem Hotel viel ändern.

Hotel staff and facilities were very good. We had a very late night check-in and early morning check-out so didn't check the hotel or use facilities much. Beds were comfortable so had a good night sleep with little kids. Hot water was available and good.

Staff had trouble finding the changes I made with occupancy through booking.com had to show proof on my phone of the communication and acceptance . Seems like some information is not flowing through from booking. Com to hotel I was advised by staff.
