The lockbox with the key was hard to find. Once located, it was very difficult to use, especially in the dark. It was a bit difficult to find

The musty smell on our arriva, just to start. Looked very tired environment. Took 1 hr to air and 1/2 can of eucalyptus spray, for unit to smell reasonable. Food/drink marked furnishings, stuffed cupboards/drawers with cleaning equipment, sheets, blankets, food consumables. No room anywhere to put yr belongings. Full stick vacuum in the bedroom on arrival. Dusty artificial plants and shelves. Dirty cooking utensils and BBQ. We felt we had to wash all plates etc we were going to use, just in csse. I could go on. And then a msg sent at 0800 the day after our arrival from ? Owner, to inform us to strip our bed on departure and informed of the additional fee if we left later than 1000. 1. Are you kidding me !!! Not our job to strip bed. And be assured we left well and truly before 1000!.. 2. Get a new cleaner 3. The 'Exceptional/Superb reviews [and the reason we booked] on this property we find extremely hard to believe. Photos not posted but available if requested. Do better or close. Wont be returning or recommending.

It was easy to reach Dunedin centre and easy to find parking outside on the road as the adjoining rental property used the provided car space. A basic breakfast was provided and most welcome. Host communicated well and was very accommodating as we arrived late.

Next to the road, it can be quite noisy at times with cars passing especially when sitting outside.

When other guests parked across our entry gate so we had to go to the main house to ask them to move their vehicle. Not having a covered entry when it was raining. Having to in the rain, go down a pathway across the main house outdoor area to use the laundry.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025完全に独立した建物で、リビングとキッチン、ベッドルームが分かれていた Wi-Fiも結構早くて、問題はなかった エアコンの暖房能力が弱く肌寒く感じた
オーナーからの指示やルールが厳しくて、理解し対応するのが大変だった。 慣れない人には苦痛以外何物でもないと思う ・チェックアウトの際にベッドシーツと掛け布団の下のシーツを剥がし、枕ケースも外す必要があった ・ゴミ捨ても建物外に捨てなければならない ・エアコンの使用は、冷房・暖房共に「温度指定」があり、今回は暖房を使ったが、上限23度と指示され、広いリビング、ベッドルームを1台の小型エアコンではなかなか暖かくならなかった ・朝食付との触れ込みだったが、到着したら「コンチネンタルブレックファースト」と自称するシリアル、牛乳、食パン、ジャム・バター、コーヒー・紅茶程度で、一般的なスライスハムやスライスチーズは全くなし 簡単にいうと、建物を賃貸するだけでホテルサービス的なものは全く期待できません ダニーデンの街中のホテルは満杯だったのでやむなく予約したが、中心部から車で10分ていど走った住宅街にあるので、スーパーやお店は徒歩圏には全くなく、レンタカーのない人は何もできないと思います

Very handy to a ORBus stop across the road in Mitchell avenue for access to CBD (park car and forget), A Shopping complex with great “Alto cafe” under 2km away.
Would be nice for a small table for two in the living room to enjoy breakfast and any other take aways instead of the lounge. Only current option is an outdoor setting but not suitable in cold or rain.

Minor issues, was a restless sleep so I can't even tell if it was me away from my bed or the bed there. But I'm an insomniac soooo 🤣 Pictures could do with an update/ panoramic or 3d view as some people may want more. I know I love as much info going in prior as possible 🤷🏼♂️

The house was well spaced, and who woke up earlier could go to the living room or even the patio and close the door to not bother the other person. We were left just the right amount of food for breakfast for the days we were there, the bathroom had everything needed and we really enjoyed the free netflix. The washing machine & dryer in the nearby house, also came in quite usefull.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2025Great place with great amenities. I appreciated the breakfast and even the wee bowl of mints. Good supply of information about local attractions. Loved having access to Netflix. Being able to use the laundry facilities was very handy. Clear communication from the owners at check in and check out meant there were no issues. Loved the place and will try and plan future visits to Dunedin around being able to stay here. Thankyou
The days are longer in Dunedin and the light coming in the bedroom was a bit of an issue in regards to being able to sleep. But managed by popping a towel over the blind. (A Dunedin issue, nothing the sunday school can really change)

Limited or no natural light in the bedroom and bathroom and despite the elevation no great outlook. Breakfast provided was basic.

It was handy to all the places we wanted to visit and there is a bus stop just up the road - perfect. We enjoyed it so much we were lucky enough to stay an extra day. Communication was easy.

The plug in cooking element works but we couldn't cook anything on it. I boiled water in the cattle first and shifted it into a pot on it to cook noodles, but it didn't come to boil after waiting for 10 minutes. It's quite an old element so needs updating.
