The view

Not what I booked. I booked for 2rooms, bedroom, lounge. Not 1room with double bed. Host very helpful, moved to unit with single beds. But still not ideal. Under different circumstances a great place to stay and relax.

Location , easy access, great hosts, nice cosy units. Good view.

The surrounds of the pond could have been nicer, was such a nice this would have made it really nice. (not a major at all, but a comment) Two comfy chairs would have been good

Room was very well equipped, even thoughtfully including binoculars to view the lovely countryside and also to try to look for the recent comet.

Not a lot of storage

The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. It was very spacious with all necessary amenities. The location was incredibly peaceful with spectacular views. It was the only place we stayed 2 nights at instead of the usual 1 and we couldn't have found a more ideal one to wind down in. Fran and Russ are lovely, interesting hosts and made us feel very welcome. It's our number one accommodation so far on our trip.

Can't fault anything about this property and its hosts.

Friendly owner. Small but comfortable and well provisioned accommodation. Very stylish furnishings. Very affordable. Beautiful garden setting.

We could hear road noise but not so much that it disturbed our sleep and the views were away from the road.

Great experience ! Amazing hosts - very accommodating! also since the Cromwell doesn't have a taxi service the owner offered a drop off to the town center for us to enjoy a late dinner.

We love the private rural area, the view from our sliding door was amazing! Fran met us as we arrived told us how to find our way to the River thru a small path near by! The shower was lovely. Milk in the fridge was great! Thank you

Perfect stay ! Hard to fault, lovely cozy set-up, ultra clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable, shower with great hot water and pressure; kitchenette enough to get basics done; nice views that one can enjoy from the small outdoor patio or from the comfort of the unit . Both sets of chairs ( indoor and outdoor) are nice. Just outside of Cromwell on way to ZQN, it’s a great option.

Super cosy, very clean and comfortable little unit. The view is fantastic. The host was very welcoming! The bed (and the bed linen) was 10 out of 10!

I was planning on having time away from distractions so I loved the view. Fran was so helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. It was a short drive to the main area of Cromwell and the lovely heritage precinct by the lake. It's an ideal stopover if exploring Otago.

I made the mistake of not realising that I couldn't walk there from the town centre.

Location, scene from room was like a postcard. Very clean and fresh. Great extras eg ground coffee. Good quality teas/soap etc. I would recommend this space to others.

It was manageable for 2 people for 1 nite. No space for 2 bags, no wardrobe. Would have preferred no flyers or books as they took up table space. Thats is fine but would be a hassle for a few nights. In saying this I still think the negatives are minor compared to the positives.

Great location, just off the highway. Beautiful views. Can sit outside for hours admiring the views.

It was private, cozy without being small, and had a great ambiance. The hosts clearly put thought into how comfortable the unit is and make you feel welcome and at home without being in your face.

The studio has everything you need. It was clean, and the location was nice. The host Fran is lovely. Thanks, Fran, for your advice about the walk, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Absolutely lovely accommodation, with beautiful views. Unit was meticulously clean and the bed very comfortable. Fran popped in to say hello and we had home made cookies to welcome us. Will definitely be back.

A lovely little unit which was perfectly comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony enjoying a nice evening breeze and views to the hills. So close to Cromwell and the start of our bike ride. Private and peaceful.

Fantastic rural view from the property. Warm bedding and comfy bed. The host provided a plunger, fresh coffee and homemade chocolate ginger slice which was delicious.

Really lovely host who made us feel so welcome. We loved sitting on our porch looking over the cherry orchard and countryside after a busy day sight seeing. The lodge is immaculately clean with good quality bedding and fluffy towels. Book it you won’t regret it. Thank you Fran for a great stay.

Gorgeous self contained studio. Lovely view over orchards and hills. Host even left a cute supper slice.

Cromwell is a good central loaction for a number of activities. There was ac good choice of (under utilised) resaurants in town

The location out of the hussell and bussell, lovely Outlook over looking the cherry trees.

We had an excellent stay at Lodges on Pearson (Unit 1). Our host, Fran, was super friendly; she brought us an extra blanket because it would be exceptionally cold that night. The room was warm and well laid out. The bed was comfortable, and the room was so well-presented and set up.

Everything was great. The host was congenial and helpful. It was obvious that she takes pride in her units. Facilities and supplies went above and beyond what one normally gets. The unit is nicer than shown in the pictures. The view from the patio window was excellent (orchards, river valley, mountains). One could sit outside and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Parking was good. Location was outside Cromwell, close walking trails and fruit stands. However, it was still quick and easy to get to the town center. If we were to stay again in Cromwell, we'd choose this accommodation again.
