The place was quiet, clean, and very welcoming. We arrived late for check-in and everything was smooth and well arranged. The apartment has a beautiful garden and a balcony with a nice ocean view, which was a great bonus. Enjoying a chat or morning coffee there was absolutely amazing. There’s also a small walkway next to the property, and the beach is just across the road. The sunrise at Papamoa was stunning. In addition, it’s only a few minutes’ drive to a supermarket, making it very convenient.

Honestly, there’s not much to complain about. If anything could be improved, the tree on the right-hand side of the balcony could be trimmed slightly to allow a clearer view of the sunrise. The shower door seal could also be adjusted, as some water tends to leak out when the shower head is facing the door. In addition, there is a small mat on the kitchen tiles that can be quite slippery, so it’s something to be mindful of.

Owner was lovely , especially what time we had turned up for check in and last minute reservation, love that its pet friendly as im from gisborne travelled up for dog vet appointment.

This is a lovely apartment close to the beach, I would stay here again.

The listing did state it had three bedrooms, which was why I booked it. When we checked in, there were only two bedrooms. I questioned it with the host, she did say she only rents out 3 bedrooms to parties of 5 or more, and did offer to open the other room, but at an additional cost. So if you are wanting to book the three rooms, ensure you stipulate this with the host when you book.

I liked the space and the comfortable beds.

I didn't like that the water basin was near electric plugs especially because there is no tap which meant we had to use a water bottle to wash our hands, splashes are easily made, making it hard for kids to use safely.

The owner was very understanding of our situation because we booked last minute and I do mean last minute. She was very helpful, kind and understanding. Every question we asked she had replied straight away. This place was very clean and tidy and very cosy. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much

Very clean and spacious accomodation. Not easy finding something with a big family and this apartment was absolutely perfect. Very clean and everything we needed was there.

The only thing I had a question about was lack of a wash basin in the bathroom? Had a bowl and some water in fridge?

This house is beautiful with a stunningly decorated beach vibe charm. The location was perfect as it was close to the beach and to the township of Papamoa. The host was very kind.

Brilliant location with the beach just a stone throw away and supermarkets etc near by.

Very cluttered, particularly the kitchen. The master bedroom was cold and damp at night (I stayed in winter)

Convenient location to family

We like the cosines of the place and comfy beds. It was great to bring our dog on holiday with us and we all enjoyed the large TV when it was time to settle on the couch in the evenings. Lots of nice cushions and blankets to make for a comfortable winter holiday. Nice little garden. The treats left on the stairs each afternoon were met with great excitment from the children and our dog. Our host was lovely.

I did wish there was a vacuum we could of used for a quick clean also a washing machine and dryer would of actually been quite handy on our holiday.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean and well appointed. Close to beach and eateries. Happily stay there again with a group or as I was, with a work colleague.

Kitchen a wee bit cramped but most peopke won't be worried about that.

I had a fantastic stay! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was just right. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better. Highly recommend staying here!

It was easy to find & close to the beach & Papamoa plaza. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen area and also the bedrooms.

A minor thing was the lack of a smart TV. To cast sport or music to.

When booking it was advertised as an apartment so I assumed we would have our own entrance.

Very nice little place, close to everything. The beds are very comfy too, first tme my daughter enjoyed sleeping on a bed that's not hers.

It would be nice if there's a washing machine/dryer we can use with no extra charge. Luckily not a big deal for us as i only need to wash a couple of basketball uniforms so they dried quickly.

Well appointed clean, tidy, well appointed furnishings, very comfortable main bed.

This property had everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. 3 of us came for the Mt Maunganui half marathon. The location suited us perfectly. Papamoa beach is close by. Nearby supermarket. A short drive to the Mount and even to Tauranga. Quiet. Clean and so well furnished. Very well equipped, was just like being at home 😀. The host was courteous and friendly. Kept in touch for the check in check out process. Had a great weekend here!

They said it had sky tv and they didn’t. If I had of been told they didn’t have sky tv I wouldn’t have booked it until.

What a beautiful little gem this wonderful homely apartment is with such a lovley host ...we travelled with. My daughter my partner and two young grandkids to visit my ailing dad who lives close by in an retirement village. This place as I have told everyone since back home in Hastings is a delightful well catered for little gem perfect in every way I would highly recommend this awesome apartment ...the homely touches made it perfect ..thank you so much for having us stay ... definitely recommend and definitely will try to rebook to stay ...such a awesome place ...thank you so very ,much ❤️
