The Penn Room Tagaytay at Cool Suites

The Host is so accommodating, kind and very responsive to all our inquiries. The room is neat, clean and comforatble. Over all we are satisfied with our stay. Will probably book again.

The location was nice because it was quiet but still accessible, with SM Hypermarket within walking distance. Some notable restaurants, such as Mahogany Bulalohan and Chicks ni Otit, are also along the same road, so they are easy to reach if you have a car. Thank you to the owner!

Waiting for the parking slot was a bit challenging. Since parking in front of the building is not allowed while waiting, I had to park at the commercial area, which was quite far. I also suggest adding hangers or hooks in the room for clothes and towels. Everything else was okay.

The unit is so clean and place is really safe to much friendly security and staff.

I like their clubhouse, where there are 4 swimming pools and also 4 badminton court and 2 billiard table for tenants/renters. I also like the location as its just at the center of the main shops and views in tagaytay.

though they have a great clubhouse its just too far but still not a big concern. my main concern was the parking as it needs to be reserved in advance as well if not you will park at the clubhouse which is far atleast from tower a. it also has a fee for basement parking hope that they can include that but overall no concerns

It’s peaceful, accessible, clean and staff was very accommodating.

The toilet doesn’t have an exhaust fan, but it’s just a minimal concern.

The location is very convenient—close to the supermarket, restaurants, Sky Ranch, and Picnic Grove. The caretaker is also easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Overall, our stay was hassle-free and enjoyable.

The lady guard at the Reception Desk needs to be more congenital and polite. She needs further training on Customer Care.

Location was very convenient as it is near the event area, as well as the top tourist spot. Grocery was very accessible too. The staff who assisted us were helpful and communicated well. Thank you!!!

We are very delighted with the room, very cozy and affordable, the place is very relaxing, my kids enjoy the huge field with grass they keep running and playing, the pool area is quite instagramable, the day was not enough for us to dip. It is too far from the parking lot. Though there is a shuttle but it would be better if they allow us to park since there are vacant slots around the area.

They are responsive and willing to assist with our requests. They are friendly, respectful and courteous. They allowed us to check in earlier than the specified time without extra charge. No hassles in the process of booking, checking in and out. They have even available vouchers for the swimming pool which is my favorite specially the heated pool. The building has great amenities. A lot of restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

The inconveniences for the parking, I pay 450 so i can park on the basement for the same building, but i advised to transfer my car to different building, bec. The caretaker made mistake for double book. Take note that we arrived first. The caretake message us that night informing us to transfer the car

The property is nice, but it looks old from the outside. Need renovation.

The Male Securities weren’t helpful, even they saw you struggling they wont offer a helping hand ( well I know that’s not their job but as a guest it is noticeable) I noticed as well that they are so strict, the way they look at you on the time you enter its like you’re not welcome. They should be more welcoming as they are the front before entering the building.

The microwave is not good when i open it to reheat my food It doesn't smell good it's like an old microwave with the smell of old food sticking to it, netflix is available but you have to login to your own account,

I like the location of the room we stayed in bec we were able to see the taal lake from where we are and view around us, plus the sunrise and sunset.

One thing that i didn't like are the pillows. We were able to sleep comfortably eventhough the pillows are not so good. 2 of the pillows seems to be old, manipis and parang bukol bukol n, not like those pillows that are provided in some other hotels and condos. Another thing that i didn't like is the sofa and the dining table and chair, plastic chair and plastic foldable table n sobrang liit. Pwd xa gamitin s balcony lng kung mgkakape but not when eating lunch or dinner.

The property caretaker did do her utmost to rescue our stay by moving us on the second day into a different room that actually matched what we had booked and paid for.

On arrival we were told that payment by card was not accepted despite card payment being clearly advertised by the host (see 1st picture). The following items were listed as part of the Penn Room’s online description, but sadly they were all MISSING from the room: - hand sanitiser - tea/coffee maker/coffee machine - bathrobe and slippers - conditioner, instead there was a used, empty conditioner sachet left by the previous guest in the shower cubicle - enough body soap for a 3 nights stay, - kitchen trash can - alarm clock - toaster What we found impossible to accept was that the advertised “well-equipped kitchenette” contained virtually nothing to cook with, not even a single knife, no cutting board, and no cooking utensils and that we were told that we were NOT ALLOWED to cook inside the Penn Room. Why does the owner advise a "well-equipped kitchenette" if guests are not allowed to cook? The bed’s mattress was heavily sagging in the middle and should have been replaced years ago, a child’s camping table served as dinner table and a super-soft folding mattress as dinner chairs. To show how much care was taken in making us feel welcome, please take a look at the last 2 attached pictures, showing the dust on the shelves and the used conditioner sachet left for us to find in the bathroom which smelled of sweaty feet. The owner of the Penn Room clearly fails to maintain the room in a suitable condition and blatantly MISLEADs guests with the room’s UNTRUE online description.

Location, unit, view are very good. Will definitely choose Wind Residences again the next time I visit Tagaytay
