This was our favorite place in Portugal. The owner was so incredibly kind and shared recommendations for good food and activities that were great. Cannot say enough nice things about them.

Great location. Great host. Our third visit.

Bed frame is a real toe killer, watch out. Stairs are a bit uneven. Uphill, everything in Coimbra is. Parking is available but remote.

The layout of the apartment was very nicely designed. The apartment consists of two floors. The bedroom is upstairs with an attached bathroom. There is also a large terrace/balcony with patio loungers which are lovely for sitting and watching the people walking in the parks along the river.. There is a second bathroom downstairs. The location is superb as it is close to the active center and close to the buses.The host picked

The hosts were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. They picked us up from the train station and dropped us at the bus station all for free. The apartment is in a good position near to all the bars, restaurants, the river and other sightseeing options. Thankyou Carlos and Ismael.

The large patio off the bedroom with a fantastic river view and the complimentary moscatel that was provided.

Be aware that there are stairs. There were two flights of stairs to our top floor room that inside the room, the bedroom was up a flight of stairs.

Hemos estado como en casa, el apartamento esta totalmente equipado, es confortable y la terraza ideal para descansar después de un día de visitas. La comunicación con el administrador/a ha sido rápida y resolutiva. La localización es ideal ya que está a pocos minutos del barrio bajo y del alto. Estamos muy contentos de la estancia y si volvemos a Coimbra repetiremos seguro !

Son and Dad are super nice and help you get from train station to apartment. The apartment on the 3 floor was amazing, the terrace with view just incredible. King size bed and everything you need in apartment. Perfect location to historic town and to river.

La TV du haut ne fonctionne pas.

Servizi perfetti e puliti. Spazio estremamente organizzato. Zona su strada ma tranquilla e caratteristica molto vicina al centro. Rientrare era molto piacevole e accogliente. Ci sono servizi non dovuti come l'accompagnamento alla stazione ferroviaria, un bicchierino di porto come benvenuto e la possibilità di fare qualche caffè in cialda o una tisana. L'oste ama il suo lavoro e ama la sua città. Avere a che fare con persone oltre che con codici di accesso è un valore all'esperienza.

L'unico piccolo "problema"è che è difficile fare asciugare naturalmente i panni. Ma c'è anche una soluzione: al mattino prima di uscire avviate l'asciugatrice con gli asciugamani umidi dopo la doccia.

The property is a great location for visiting the city. I loved the balcony looking over the river. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Be sure to communicate with Carlos so you can meet him so he can show you to the place.

The location was perfect for the old town and the University, minutes from both. Two blocks from the Rover. The host was great, picking us up from the bus station and dropping us off at the train station when we left.

Excellent location, very clean; a/c was wonderful on the hot days.

The apartment is in a great location for getting around Coimbra. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The bed is comfy and the Aircon on both floors was really welcome as it was around 40 degrees. The balcony off the bedroom is fantastic with amazing views of the river and beyond. Thank you to the owner Carlos who picked us up at the station and dropped us back there after checkout. He was always available and responded really quickly. Overall, a great place to spend a few days in an interesting, historic city.

Foarte multe lucruri marunte incluse, de care nu sti ca ai nevoie pana nu te lovesti de lipsa lor. De asemenea, accesul este fara chei, ceea ce ajuta mult in lipsa grijilor la intrare si iesire.

Mobila este veche si nu tocmai sigura, sunt o persoana cu greutate peste medie, iar scaunele nu mi-ai oferit incredere. De asemenea lipsesc prizele la indemana si este greu sa ai lucruri conectate.

Everything about the accommodation is great but there's no real supermarket close by

Het appartement is verzorgd en voorzien van alle comfort. De gastheer was zeer behulpzaam en attent. Vanwege hitte heeft hij ons van parking naar appartement gebracht dat op zo'n 10 minuten wandelen lag.

Laatste week van mei zijn examens blijkbaar voorbij en is er 's nachts veel feestkabaal van de overkant van de rivier. Hebben we onze laatste nacht mogen ervaren.

AC was perfect, shower had a good temperature and pressure, Internet was fast, place was secure and quiet, big red bathroom sink was a nice touch, windows were easy to open and easy to close with wooden shutters on the inside to keep it dark when sleeping. Friendly people very accommodating with pick-up at train station, very responsive if anything needed. Everything important was provided and more including built-in washer and dryer.

Minor things could improve. Shower could use a shelf or rack for soap and shampoo. It's a traditional style home-like space so don't expect a modern sleek room. The hill to the place is steep but so is everything in Coimbra. It's about as close as you can get to the river while actually being in the ancient city. I thought the refrigerator was really tiny when I got there but it was more than sufficient for my needs.

We konden via de host in de parkeergarage onze auto kwijt, echt super! Op loopafstand van de leuke oude straatjes in het centrum. Nog een tip voor heel fijn restaurant: Sete

Locatie is een beetje met een dubbel gevoel: heel dicht bij het centrum, dus dat was fijn. Maar wij hadden appartement op de begane grond en hadden de indruk dat het klinkerstraatje onder ons raam een sluiproute was. Mega veel verkeer waar je 's nachts geen last van hebt mits je de dubbele ramen sluit.

Excellent place to stay very close to the college, and with an excellent balcony overlooking the river. Great view. Close to some great restaurants, too!

В квартире нас ждал приветственный портвейн, кофе, чай, вода в бутылках! Карлос и его дети безупречные хозяева, невероятно позитивные и гостеприимные, лично встретили нас на автобусной станции, привезли в квартиру, по дороге показали и объяснили основные достопримечательности города, также порекомендовали лучшие рестораны, кофейни, музеи и культурные места. Мы очень благодарны Карлосу и его семье!

Great location. Spacious and comfy apartment. Accommodating host (Carlos) picked us up and took us to the station.

No breakfast was provided but there were a few coffee pods and tea bags. The location was very central . Carlos was an exceptional host !!!

The padding on the kitchen chairs are not very comfortable but it’s not a deal breaker.

The apartment is well equipped. It's close to the main tourist section and restaurants. Carlos even arranged a ride to and from the bus station for us - a much appreciated extra.

Fantastic location. Stunning views from terrace. Beautiful apartment over two floors with two bathrooms. Very kind and helpful owner. As we parked our car on another side of river (10 minutes walk to house) he gave us a lift to our car when we were leaving.

The apartment was in a good location, and very clean. Kitchen, living area (with possible bed), along with full bath. Upstairs was bedroom and bat, with balcony. Everything needed was available, and the host graciously left bottled water, port sine and chocolates! He checked in frequently to make sure we had no problems.

This property has everything you need. It was very clean. It has a washing machine/dryer which is always a bonus when you’re travelling. Carlos is an excellent host. Great communication and he even picked us up and dropped us back to the train station. The property is in walking distance of most things you’d want to see

A perfect apartment for two. Kitchen had everything needed for simple meals, with toaster, coffee maker and induction stove top. Really excellent washer and stand alone dryer. Laundry loads were washed and dried in 2+ hours. Bathroom good with excellent water supply to shower. Bed was comfortable, and the heating/cooling very responsive. The host really went the extra mile to facilitate our stay, both meeting us at the bus station, and taking us to the train station for our onward journey. Location is perfect for seeing the old town and university in Coimbra. Highly recommend.

Great location, excellent staff and service, mostly well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and pillows (2 per person). A complimentary ride from the train station. Safe and secure.

Minor issues: only one small frying pan, and one small, dull knife. No big serving bowls. No fault of the apartment, but the noise Saturday night from a neighboring dance club, was very loud until about 0500. None of this affected our stay too much. We still had a very enjoyable time.

This was a well appointed property. Everything that we needed for a 4 day stay was provided. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent little studio apartment, very clean, very well equipped and in a very central “walk to everything” location. Has a view through the trees of the river and it’s iconic fountain. Wonderful, thoughtful and generous host. Loved Coimbra and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this city. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

Great location, very spacious, quiet and comfortable apartment. 3 bedrooms on 8th floor with laundry, kitchen and terrace. Uninterrupted river views. Lift and secure entry. Supermarkets and restaurants 5 min walk. Great for families or couples. It’s a yes from me.

Amazing place to stay. I'd highly recommend it. Carlos, our host, was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. The apartment has everything anyone might need and is extremely comfortable and well-located. We'll stay there again next time we're back in Coimbra.

Clean - super clean. Felt like we were the first guest! Shower great, beds great. Location perfect for touring old town and quick uber (3.00€) up to university. Very attentive hosts. Welcomed us with small bottle of port, and dropped by next day with pastel da nata and a couple of bottles of water!

The apartment is ideally located in the center of town. We were able to easily stop by between activities and did this multiple times a day. The apartment is spacious with 2 floors and a nice view over the river. It was also quiet. We were able to wash a load of clothes and hang them on a drying rack on the balcony. Carlos picked us up at the bus station and also dropped us off there when we left. He told us about the city

Charming and spacious apartment close to most of the Coimbra attractions. Comfy beds and good shower. Do take up the owner's offer of parking as it is at a premium in old the city.

Carlos picked us up at the train station and drove us to the apartment, and then drove us back to the station at the end of our stay. Fantastic service! And apartment has a washing machine AND a dryer.

The location is good, Thats the only thing we liked

Contrary to most people we didn’t like the studio. It was dark, dated “red sink and bathroom tiling”. !!the bathroom had a damp feeling as other reviewers have said. The window was very high so room seemed dark and lots dark wood too . Trying to be everything and to us it was like sleeping in your kitchen and looking at washer machine and dryer . The location is good and size of studio fine it needs a make over to separate the areas. We extended our stay in Coimbra and stayed in another studio nearby before and the layout and decor so wonderful by comparison We moved as this was not available ongoing.

Great property, we stayed in family room, which had three very clean, comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and fantastic views. Close to everything, wonderful host, Carlos, who was nice enough to offer to pick us up at bus station when we arrived. Highly recommended!

The host Carlos was super kind, picked us up from the train station and then gave us a lift to the station the next day. (We stayed only one day in Coimbra.) He also sent us some pastel de nata as a welcome. The apt. was nice and big, on two floors, two bathrooms, everything fine. The location is superb, great view, close to everything.

O estúdio é uma graça, além de ser muito funcional e confortável. Limpeza impecável. Lá tem tudo que você pode precisar, até pilhas e adaptador de tomada, além ter sido recebida com vinho do porto. Tudo foi pensado para dar conforto ao hóspede. A simpatia do proprietário é um diferencial, muito atencioso e até me levou na estação de trem. Me hospedaria lá de novo com certeza.

Tem uma ladeira meio íngreme para chegar na hospedagem, mas Coimbra é assim, cheia de ladeiras. Mas não chega a comprometer, não para mim.

This apartment is a 2 minute walk from the centre of Coimbra. We were picked up from the bus station on the edge of town by our host Carlos - he also took us back when it was time to move on. The apartment is excellent, clean, spacious and comfortable with 2 bathrooms and a lovely terrace with a great view over the river. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!

Impeccably clean, comfortable, and with some amenities (like clothes washer) not typical of other lodgings of this type. The communication with Carlos was excellent, and he was very helpful and friendly. The location is good - close to shops, restaurants and the river, yet away from the noise. There was a nice view of the river through one of the windows.

There wasn’t anything we disliked. I would mention a couple of traveler tips though: (1) To ensure consistency with water temperature in the shower, the flow should be kept on the high side. (2) Coimbra is very hilly, and some streets are quite steep. Guests should plan on taking extra time to walk between places, or consider taking public transportation.

The location was perfect, easy access to every place you want to see in Coimbra. Just steps away from the City Center and all tourist sites are easily walkable from the apartment. The owner was wonderful and picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. Every little detail was consider to make my stay perfect. There is not only a washer but a dryer too, super helpful when traveling with small suitcase and needing to wash often.

Everything was perfect, nothing negative to say. Would definately recommend staying here to anyone visiting Coimbra.
