Cutlery really needs an upgrade as there was hardly any. Wine bottel opner bended and broken. Knives are not sharp, and the rinking glases / cups are not enough.

No tupper wear available. Bed cushions are too hard. The cupboards were full of cockroaches. There are not enough towels for cleaning. No proper dish washing liquid. No one was there to welcome us.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2024Ballito is absolutely awesome! The view of the beach from this place is unbeatable—perfect for watching the sunrise, which was magical every morning. It's close to Thompson's Beach and the famous Hole in the Wall, and Willard's Beach is nearby, offering great swimming. We were lucky to catch the annual surf competition in July, which added to the excitement. Chaka's Cove was another highlight—we even spotted whales and dolphins right from the balcony! The place is comfy for a maximum of 4 people, and I actually preferred sleeping on the couch, as the single beds were rather small and not as comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean at night was an incredible experience. There’s so much to do in Ballito—bring a snorkel, and you can explore the rock pools or enjoy swimming at some of the best beaches on the coast. Just be sure to check the tide times to plan your activities. Dolphin and whale watching tours are also offered in Ballito, adding to the overall experience. This was an unforgettable holiday—10/10, highly recommend!
The single beds and the second bathroom were slightly smaller than expected.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2024The view from the balcony is amazing. There is no loadshedding. A very short walk to the beach. Loved that it overlooks a small family beach. The beds and linen very clean. The wifi worked so well. There is a pool accross the road.
The dishes and kitchen utensils were quite dirty on arrival. A bit of maintenance needs to be done on the sliding door of patio and outside gas braai.

As we were travelling by Uber to the airport ,it was not convenient to go and drop the keys off at an office in town, a suggestion would be a lock box on site for arrival &. collection.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2023Amazing property that is well kept. Great host who communicates everything. The views from the property and the proximity to the beach is amazing. The light from light from Chakas Cove towards the beach made it wonderful to be on the balcony and enjoy extended views of the ocean into the night. Went for an early morning swim when it was still dark and the light helped a lot. Fantastic stay we had and can't wait to return.
