They accommodated an early check-in but getting access was tricky as I tried 3 times before someone answered. Cannot answer about the host as I did not meet a specific host and the keys were given to me by one of the cleaning staff. Overall the location was ideal and no issues encountered. One recommendation: Provide DTSV on the TV as Openview channels are very limited

The kitchen counters were a bit dusty upon arrival, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the Wi-Fi only worked once initially and wouldn't connect when we returned to the unit. Lastly, as someone who values safety, adding a burglar door would really help guests feel more secure.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Monica was such a friendly host and her staff were so accommodating and homely. We checked in here after a horrible stay at our previous place and I wish we’d found Melrose Place sooner. The lobby was a lovely place to work in during the day, and the braai facility is so inviting. We extended our stay with ease and had the pleasure of wishing our lovely host Monica a happy birthday on our departure. This place truly makes Potch feel like home!

There were other guests who made a lot of noise around 2am, there were shouting, and woke us up, this went on for a while.
