Reviewed Aug 2, 2026The size of the place!!! Cleaningness. The garage was just right as parking elsewhere would have been kaos. Using the garage to enter and exit the building was way easier than using key entrance/exit.

Heating in the main living area was a struggle but the rest of the apartment was toasty as.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2025Fantastic location, living areas are comfortable and so spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. Downstairs private garage is great.
The master bed needs an upgrade as the mattress has no support whatsoever. It's fairly noisy due to workers downstairs late at night and early morning rubbish trucks. The heating isn't great. We had the heat pump blasting the whole time we were there as it was down the hall from the bedroom. It didn't worry us, but the lift is still broken.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025Location was excellent. The apartment was massive and everything you could possibly need. Every kitchen utensil, appliance, laundry, loved the ironing board, huge table and chairs, lounge suite you could sleep on and then the annex with even more seating. It was lovely being able to open the front up and enjoy the sunshine. The garage comes right off the street and can prob fit 2 smaller cars and back stairs to go to the apartment with instead of having to come back out. Great air conditioning also.
no shampoo and conditioner. For the 1st time ever neither myself or my friend had taken any with us. Good excuse for a salon visit though.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2025The living area exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fabulous. The location was fabulous. however the air-conditioning did not reach any of the bedrooms. There were no windows in 2 of the bedrooms, just skylights which made the room so bright during the day, impossible to dim. The master bed and pillows were uncomfortable and we all didn't sleep very well.

The kids loved the cinema room. having our own garage space downstairs was amazing making it easy to come and go as we please. The central location makes it easy to walk around Taupo with access to everything we needed, very close to the lake (5mins) and shops. Everything was very comfortable and clean.
Shower pressure is a little low and the garbage truck is loud in the master bedroom early in the morning.

No windows in two of the rooms. Once of the single beds felt like it was about to fall apart. Skylight in bedrooms was very bright first thing in the morning.

Although it was huge it could have done with a refurbishment to the bathrooms and toilets as they were not of good quality and certainly not luxury fittings. The lack of windows in the second and third bedrooms, even with a skylight, made them very gloomy with a need to turn the light on every time you entered the room.

Beds were ok. Queen size - super king especially in the enormous bedroom studio would make sense. And some spot heating down that end of the house. Lovely warm bedding 🙂

The master is so big and the closets are over the top. We lived using the glasses in veranda AND the wall of windows opened! The home theatre room was the bonus-even over the incredible kitchen.

The weather was very hot during our stay and unfortunately the air conditioning couldn’t keep up in the living area. The bedrooms/cinema and outdoor area were extremely hot with only a couple of fans available to cool/move the hot air around.
