Reviewed Apr 21, 2025good value for money, fairly luxurious decorated property with good air conditioning. the water from the kitchen tap was drinking water as they filtered it under the sink which is a huge bonus in this area. The kitchen even had a dish washer, but you need to bring your own dishwasher tabs. they would like to have the money in cash at the property on arrival, we were not prepared for that but it was not a problem to pay the caretaker a few hours later after we located an ATM. the property is on the outskirts of New Alula, you should have a car if you want to book it. But restaurants and shops are within 10 min drive or even less depending on what you prefer.
the cutlery and crockery of the kitchen was sparse: e.g. 2 knifes for 4 people is not enough. I though did not request more as we brought our own cutlery as we had similar experiences in other holiday apartments. I am pretty sure they would have brought us the requested cutlery quickly as the caretaker lived on the property. the sandwich maker did not work. Also the blankets/duvets were weird, they were most likely made out of polyester, when you just rub it between your finger in a dark room you could see the electrostatic lights! the hair was always standing up when sleeping in those blankets. I would recommend to exchange at least the linen to one made of a natural fiber.

Not very soundproof. Noisy neighbors kept me awake. Mattresses are very thin.

The kitchen is well equipped and we have two good night in the house. Google map is not showing the right route however the host is really helpful.

The location is not too convenient if you don't have your own car. You have to use Uber, Kiyan, Careem, but they are not always available.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2023The house is very near the AlUla Airport. The owner of the house sent us the GPS location of the apartment prior to our arrival and met us personally to give us our key and showed us around. The apartment is very big in size, perfect for our family of 5. The linens were fresh and clean, as were the towels. The curtains are extremely blackout which lets you sleep very well. The AC and TV work perfectly. All in all, a great place to stay with a family.
It wasn´t a negative for us, but the location is approximately a 20 minute drive from AlUla old town, which is not very uncomfortable if you rent a car. It would've been nice to have some basic cooking condiments (oil, salt, pepper). Other than this, all good.

Perfect for long stay with family. - There is drink water from the special tap. - Mr. Abdalu Rahman is the best host and very kind person. His hospitality is far beyond the expectation. He helped us a lot with the car rental and also with a taxi to Madinah at the end of our stay. He makes your stay fell like at home. - My family spent with him beautiful time on his farm. - Communication via the Booking app and later via the Whatsapp. - We are looking forward to be back in Al Ula at this beautiful house.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2022Very clean, and very nice host that was easy to communicate with. Very large apartment and everything was spotless clean! Parking available just outside. Around 15 mins drive from Old Town and 30 mins from Winter Park (where most tours start from).
One of the toilets was a squat toilet only, which we felt could be upgraded for an even better experience (for tourists who are not used to that). Place is good for spending the night comfortably, but as no pool or other facilities you would not want to spend the day here. But you wouldn't want to do that anyway, as you are in Al Ula to explore.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2022Absolutely great place - huge rooms, extremely clean, the host was there when we arrived to show us around. The place was well set up for a longer stay - lots of appliances (gas hob, microwave, kettle, electric oven, milk frother, everything you could imagine and more) in the kitchen - including various ways of making tea and coffee - so we were happy! All the rooms had split AC units which worked great - not too noisy and cooled the rooms really well. Blackout curtains on the windows helped keep the rooms cool as well as providing a dark sleeping environment. Wifi was good and consistent and reasonably fast - no issues there. We were advised by our host not to drink the water from the tap - but there was a potable water tap in the kitchen which provided filtered water. The fridge worked great and kept our water cold for our daily trips out. Two bathrooms one with "english" sit down toilet, and both with a squat toilet. Each one had a shower in it as well. Choice of 3 sitting rooms! One arabic seating, one with couches and one that we used which was next to the kitchen, and dining area. Easy to find off the highway - a small portion (100m) of it was not on tarmac, but the ground was hard packed so our 2 wheel drive had no problems at all. Parking was available under a canopy, so the car stayed in the shade which makes a huge amount of difference when getting back in to it. If you are hoping to be right in the middle of town, then this is not the place for you - but as the drive was only 15 mins to get there, it wasn't a big issue. Our host communicated beforehand via the Booking App - and via Whatsapp - he was very quick to respond and friendly at the property as well.
The beds were on the hard side. Other than that - I really can't find fault with the place.
