La décoration pleine de personnalité, les petites attentions, le calme et la vue (qui doit être sublime quand il ne pleut pas 😉). Pour une nuit hors du temps !!!

We loved the cabin, it was very cosy but easily spacious enough for two people. The kitchenette was tiny but adequate- we were able to make breakfast each morning and even lunch and dinner as the equipment is clearly listed and we came prepared. Our dog enjoyed sniffing around and chasing the cat. Many historical trails around and not too far from Sligo town or Benbulben either. Extremely quiet and dark at night, which was great. Overall, amazing value for money.

Lack of general waste bin was quite an inconvenience, we had to bring our rubbish across the country to dispose back at home.

The owners made it SO easy to find and were in constant contact. They were very welcoming and were genuine. The owner showed all the things in the cabin and how things worked and even left some morning snacks for the next day.

Michelle was an excellent host, helping solve a minor water issue even while she was away. The cabin is beautifully set up with incredible views, and I even got to enjoy the fresh strawberries growing jst outside it. Thank you💚

Kleines Waschbecken um Geschirr abzuwaschen wäre schön gewesen... aber wir sollten es einfach da stehen lassen und die Vermieter haben sich drum gekümmert. Also ergab es kein Problem

La idea romántica de estar perdido en medio de una montaña en una cabaña cómoda.

El campo era una carretera pegada, edificios en ruinas alrededor, una cabaña pequeña, dos camas incómodas, una cocina donde para cocinar tenías que pedir la vez estando dos personas. Es decir, muy romántico en las fotos. Mucha araña en la realidad y cierta sensación de que en las fotos pinta más grande que una furgoneta.

On arrival, we got to meet Michelle, very welcoming. Great heat if needed. The shower was great. The cabin was clean... Nice touch with croissant 😋. A Peaceful place. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy our morning coffee. . Plenty of blankets to wrap up if needed. There is a nice touch with lights over the beds. The location was good. Nice strawberry 🍓 bush out the front of the cabin.

Beautiful scenery

This is a lovely little cottage in the most beautiful rural, peaceful setting. The lovely, friendly owner came out to meet us and make sure we had everything we needed (and give us some great information about what to do in the area) but then respected our privacy. I wish we had more time here!

There was nothing to dislike unless you need lots of noise and action!

¡Qué alojamiento más mágico! La verdad es que se nota que la anfitriona le ha puesto mucho amor. Se trata de una casita de madera, alejada totalmente de la civilización, decorada con mucha fantasía. Tuvimos la suerte de llegar mientras anochecía y la verdad es que la puesta de sol desde allí fue espectacular.

Está un poquito alejado de la civilización, pero los anfitriones se encargan de que llegues al alojamiento una vez has realizado la reserva. Nosotras nos perdimos un poco, pero porque estábamos muy cansadas.

Ha sido una experiencia agradable para las personas que les gusta desconectar y rodearse de naturaleza. Estaba lloviendo y hizo eso la estancia más acogedora

Quizás que no tenga cocina pero de todas formas estaba muy bien equipado

The location was stunning, the cabin was quirky, comfortable, homely, had amazing windows and the hosts were excellent. They provided great information on getting there, local sights and activities and were very easy and friendly to communicate with.

Die Lage ist ganz gut! Man ist einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und hat eine schöne Aussicht nach draußen! Wanderungen kann man auch direkt von der Cabin aus unternehmen!

It was a really cute cabin with a relaxing view over some grass fields with the mountains in the distance. Felt like a piece of land hidden from the rest of the world with cows next to the property. The beds were so comfortable we had an amazing sleep.

It didn’t bother me at all, but my mum is a light sleeper and woke up twice because of trucks driving on the street near the cabin

I had to go home

This was a cozy little cabin in a lovely quiet rural area. Perfect for our one night stay. It had very good heating for a cool evening. Beds were comfortable. Enough supplies for us to have breakfast. We enjoyed the field view we woke up to. Would stay here again.

I loved the silence and the landscape.

Cute cabin. Feel secluded in your own area. A lovely place to enjoy the outdoor patio when the weather is good. A few goodies were provided which was a nice touch.

The cabin is very small. One night there was fine but would not have wanted to stay more than that. Now if I was a young couple or traveling on my own, this cabin would be perfect for a longer stay.

Very quaint location, the small space inside the cabin is very well organized, very comfortable and cosy and almost everything you might need is there.

There seemed to be a heating system that is supposed to radiate from the ceiling but we could not figure out how to make it work and did not find instructions. I have no doubt that if we had asked, our hosts would have explained it to us. However the soft duvet and multiple blankets at disposal kept us warm and snug.

Esperienza molto caratteristica, cabina ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario! L’host è stato molto accogliente, disponibile e gentile. Il paese vicino, Castlebaldwin una vera chicca!

Es hat uns wirklich alles gefallen. Die Lage war zwar etwas entfernt von allem aber das war es wert. Super schöne Umgebung und es war einfach eine richtig nette kleine Hütte. Wir hatten alles was man braucht (Kaffee, Teekocher, Kühlschrank) Wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Staying at the cabin for a night was a wonderful experience. The location is set in a beautiful natural area, close to the host’s accommodation, which made check-in very easy. The host was hospitable, welcoming us warmly and providing helpful information about the area and places worth visiting. The cabin itself is clean, cozy and warm - perfect for a restful night. We truly enjoyed waking up surrounded by nature before continuing our journey around the country. We would be happy to return one day and stay for longer.

Beautiful cosy cabin, with everything you need for your stay. No TV which added to the lovely relaxing atmosphere of the cabin. Hosts were very friendly and the location was private and quiet. Everything you need for a relaxing rest away from the hustle and bustle.

Close to N4. Cute cats and pigs. Cabin is very cosy and beds are too. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Michelle and Mark are lovely hosts, great to chat to and they have a lovely book full of recommendations for the area. Would stay again.

It was a beautiful cabin, and the manager Michele was lovely! The beds were comfortable and she even left us a little breakfast station with coffee. Would definitely recommend 🙃

Lovely secluded cabin near the Carrowkeel passage tombs (a must see). Michelle was lovely. Everything was perfect for our stay. Thank you very much. No tv or Internet; which was great to switch off for an evening (there is good phone signal for your mobile)

Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere, small but well equipped and comfortable

We’d have liked a larger space to prepare food but it added to the quirkiness and was fine for a short stay.

This place was ADORABLE! Even cuter and much more beautifully situated than I'd expected! The location was idyllic--both my mother and I would have loved to stay longer!! And Michelle was extremely kind. Yay piggies!

Gorgeous little cabin in the hills outside Sligo. Perfect if you're looking to get away and relax. We had a lovely couple of nights with our dog.

An exceptional place to stay. Magnificent views and lovely walks close by. Excellent restuarant closeby.

I didn't fine anything to complain about.

We had a lovely night's stay at the cabin. The accommodation was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. Very cosy! Michelle and Mark have the place done up fabulously. The beds are very comfortable. Lovely shower and good facilities. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed our evening watching the sunset on the beautiful veranda. It's also a great area for walking. You can see rolling countryside for miles and miles.

We loved the view from the window, the overall coziness of the whole cabin, the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts but especially loved the animals!

If I have to think of something I didn't like, I only wish that the bathroom door had something like paint over the glass as you can see the silhouette of someone sitting on the toilet/changing.

What a sweet surprise Gorgeous views and a spotless comfortable cabin Michelle was lovely and recommended for us to hike to the Carrowkeel Megalithic Tombs This has been a highlight of our whole trip to Ireland it was spectacular an easy hike, just us and the cutest sheep, the 360deg view was beyond spectacular! And the sense of ancient history was my dream come true Thank You Michelle a treasure of a spot……..

So so cute! Tea in the morning was so appreciated. Nice warm shower was awesome. And the directions to find the place were great.

Had to navigate the no WiFi but no big worry - it was our fault for not having cell service / a plan for the morning. But we used the binder to find a cafe and WiFi at the tourist office to find where that cafe was!

We arrived and were met by the host and settled our luggage in before setting off on a couple of suggested sites to look at.

Incredibly cosy and comfortable stay at Carrowkeel Cabin. Mark and Michelle were wonderful and very friendly hosts. The cabin is very welcoming and we would definitely stay here again, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Lovely quiet area, well equipped cabin, cleanliness, parking space included. Refreshing to get a hot shower after hikes and a cup of tea. The night was chilly and we found it best to set the heater on a low volume running for the night, otherwise the air cools down too much.

This has become our new happy place. What a beautiful place to stay. The best night sleep we have ever had. Very cosy and welcoming. Beautiful views in the morning. We wish we had booked for longer, we will return definitely. Thank you.

The host was lovely and the place was comfy, cosy and in a gorgeous location. Couldn't have been better.

I stayed over for work. Fantastic location in a lovely area, great setup with a few extras thrown in which was lovely. A worry I had from looking at the pictures was whether it would be cold overnight - not a worry, the heater on the ceiling was more than enough to keep me toasty! I'd love to go back another time when I have more time to spend in the area. (I also made a little cat friend!)
