Great location, facilities and very clean. Made to feel very welcome.

The place was fabulous. Clean and comfy. Nice they had a few items in the frig for our breakfast.

The house and its location was perfect, great scenery, and views from all the windows The home was immaculate, and all attention to detail was provided, including rations for a breakfast. Owner was very friendly and a great communicator We loved staying here. It was excellent.

We had a fabulous stay at Doolin Heights Apartment. Joan was an incredibly kind and helpful host, and she even stocked the fridge with some basic essentials to get us started, which was such a thoughtful touch. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and overall exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer, ample parking, and was just a 10–15 minute walk into the town. I would highly recommend Doolin Heights Apartment to anyone planning a visit to Doolin. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Loved this place with its extra reading nook, great views, proximity to main Doolin and convenient amenities. Was very comfortable and spacious for my family of 4. Recommend and would return!

The house is located in an amazing spot with fabulous views of the Cliffs of Moher. The house is spotless and Joan provides all the essentials to make your arrival easy. This was our second time staying and we will definitely be back.

The location was perfect, close enough to the town center, but far enough away to feel like you were out in the country. Beautiful views included rolling farmland, cows, and in the distance, the Cliffs of Moher and a lighthouse on one of the islands. Absolutely beautiful! The home was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. We were able to do our laundry and we used the delightful detached sun room one evening. Joan (our host) greeted us warmly, told us how to reach her if needed, then left us to our own devices. Perfect! We will definitely come back here (some day!!)

Beautiful accommodation! Well appointed. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Connemara ponies with foals to entertain and the Cliffs of Moher in the distance from the bonus room. 10 minute stroll to the village. Easy drive to the Doolin pier. Amazing!

Our family of 3 were very comfortable during our 2-night stay in Joan's spacious, immaculate apartment just a short drive from Doolin's main street, amidst peaceful countryside, with a view of the Cliffs of Moher. Joan was very responsive in communications prior to our arrival (we learned how to navigate using postcodes instead of addresses), and when we arrived, we were so pleased with the amenities of the accommodation--including Joan's thoughtful provision of some breakfast provisions. After our initial time spent in Dublin and Galway hotels, it was such a pleasure to be able to spread out in a countryside house. Our young adult/teen daughter was ecstatic with the ocean view from her window and the proximity to the mare and 10-day-old foal in the paddock alongside the property. (The Joan's son raises horses to sell, and he also gave us a helpful tip about seeing the Cliffs of Moher after the park officially closed, for quiet sunset views without the crowds.)

My daughter wished she had discovered the hair dryer in her bedroom vanity drawer the first night of our stay, after her shower. (Turned out there was one in both upstairs bedrooms, but we didn't discover this until the morning we left.) So this is not a complaint about a lack of amenities, but maybe a suggestion that the hair dryer could be placed on the bathroom shelving for more obvious access.

Did not remember to check booking.com for messages & couldn't find property at first nor access it. Luckily neighbor helped as host did not pick up phone after trying 2 times to call. WAZE will not use a postal code to locate property but google maps will.

Lovely sea and cliff views looking out from summer house. Also views of sea from one of bedrooms. The other looks out over the countryside, as does the lounge. Good spot to explore the county, and Doolin is a lovely village with plenty of places to eat, plus the ferry to Aran Islands.

Not a dislike but whilst walkable to harbour, it's approx 3km, but plenty of parking available there if you want to drive it.

Super location, fantastic views, nice big house, very well equipped, comfortable heating, easy parking, walking distance to restaurants/pubs, easy/good contact with owner.

Missed my (N)espresso in the morning. WiFi rather weak/unstable..

It's a great apartment in a very convenient location to Doolin with beautiful views of the Cliffs of Moher. We particularly loved the outdoor room, what a wonderful addition! Joan was a very warm and friendly host. Highly recommend this accommodation. It was perfect for the 6 of us, all adults. Lots of options for running, walking and hiking from the front door too.

It was very spacious, clean, and perfectly appointed inside! We loved being able to take a short walk into town to ample pubs, sites (especially the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin caves). Having coffee, tea, sugar, and bread and butter and jelly was a nice touch! The horses and donkey were fun to watch.

Great spot, lovely comfy rooms and spotless when we arrived. Host were exceptionally welcoming and left some eggs, bread and milk for us in case we were hungry. Short walk right into Doolin.

Quiet, relaxing country location with adorable horses on the property.. There’s also a detached patio type structure that’s perfect for eating breakfast or drinking coffee in the morning while taking in the countryside sights. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. They provided some breakfast food basics and coffee, sugar, etc. Very much appreciated! The apartment actually had a dryer (and a washer of course). In Europe, it’s rare to find a dryer. We loved having that convenience. The friendly owner greeted us and gave us tips for seeing the Cliffs, Doolin restaurants and other points of interest nearby. We loved our stay here.

We arrived into Doolin late and the all the restaurants were already closed. Our host Joan was very kind and thoughtful to provide us with the some sandwich-type food for dinner on that first night. That was so appreciated! Thanks Joan!

The setting for this lovely home is truly exquisite! When we first arrived we were thrilled to see a direct view of the Cliffs of Moher, a beautiful rolling pasture with a mare and young foal on the property, and the charming town of Doolin only a 3 min drive away. The owners live next door and were there to greet us, gave us a tour of the property, and stocked the kitchen with fresh milk, bread and eggs…a lovely bonus. The house was much larger than it appeared in photos, and extremely comfortable for our short stay of only 2 days. We would love to return to Doolin Heights and stay longer next time.

Beautiful immaculate comfortable home, nice and helpful hosts, GORGEOUS open land with roaming horses, foals, donkey, short walk to town.

Nothing really, it was great. We had a little trouble figuring out the washing machine and how to lock the front door as they’re different from the US but we worked it out, no problem.

The 3-bedroom house is situated on a coastal hill overlooking the sea and the cliffs of Moher. The house is furnished and equipped as if you were at home, the cleanliness is perfect. Joan is a super host, she will fulfil all your wishes immediately. Thank you for your hospitality!

The house is a little far from the village, but is quickly accessible by car. Renting this house is not cheap, but perfect accomodation for 4-6 people.

Perfect location. Warm fire on a cool and rainy night. Laundry facilities. Hostess provided eggs, milk, bread and juice. Jellies and butter. Tea/coffee sugar and creamer!

The road is extremely narrow with stone walls to maneuver around.

This was our favorite place to stay during our Ireland vacation - we could have easily spent a week. The pictures don't do it justice. There's so much to drive to and explore in the area - Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, all around the Burren. It was spacious and comfortable, incredible views, and so peaceful. The walk to town intimidated us in the dark, but the host showed us where to park right next to the main road, so we did the little 3 minute drive each night. The bars have music around 9-11pm each night, full of tourists and local music and a great time. Joan was so kind, allowing us to arrive late, and her son even drove us into town the first night. This was exactly the charming Irish experience we were looking for!

What’s not to like? Perfect location, beautiful walk to the village. Stunning views of the cliffs and the countryside. Loved the cottage, great place for sleep, food and relaxation. The cottage was so clean and bright, it was truly amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable with the perfect amount of linens. Will definitely stay again!!

The host provided breakfast supplies (eggs, bread, milk, juice, coffee, tea) but we did not have time to use them. The location was great for easy access to our activities - Cliffs of Moher and Aran Island ferry / day trip. We enjoyed the nights at local pubs close by.

That we couldn't stay longer!

Comfortable, large apartment with very good facilities. Even though breakfast was not included in the price, our host provided us with all the ingredients, which we found very nice. The bedrooms were very comfortable, one with a lovely view of the Aran Island lighthouse.

Gorgeous views!! Clean and comfortable - family friendly. Walkable to a great town along a quiet roadway beside farmland and cows grazing. Perfect if you want privacy but near town. Would stay again in a heartbeat - hope to do so. Great host!

Loved the spacious venue, even nicer than the photos. Everything was spic and span, and Joan v helpful with everything. Nice to have milk and bread, etc, ready for the morning. And of course, we appreciated the coffee for the coffee maker. We enjoyed the stroll into Doolin each evening while listening to the birdsong Also enjoyed views from our windows!

Excellent place to stay! The little building was very comfortable and well furnished. Bathrooms were very nice, everything felt clean. Short drive or 15 min walk to main Doolin strip, very easy to get around. It was easy to use the heating (which worked very well and kept us cozy) and the washer/dryer worked great. It was quiet, your neighbors are cows, and it's up a classic irish farm road to get to the building. Host was very responsive and helpful. It's a very nice place, I'd definitely use it again to stay in Doolin!

Exceptional property and exceptional hosts! Not only did we get our best sleep and showers during our whole 2 week stay in Ireland, our hosts Joan and Pat went wildly out of their way to help us when we had a flat tire on our rental car, making all the arrangements and driving us to and from the pier so we didn’t have to miss our ferry. On the way back from the ferry Pat treated our young daughters to ice cream. They saved this portion of our trip with their kindness! A must stay in Doolin!

Lovely little cottage, a short walk from Doolin village. Fabulous views. All rooms were a good size with their own bathrooms. Great facilities - well stocked kitchen, washer + dryer, Smart TV etc.. Host was very welcoming and provided some basic provisions.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable for our 4 adults and 2 children. All modern conveniences! Great place to start and end our active days. Hostess even stocked basic necessities, e.g. coffee, tea, milk and bread.

We rented the Doolin Heights apartment for 4 nights. We are a family of 6 - 2 seniors, 3 adults and 1 child. The apartment is actually a house located behind the main home of the owners. While the pictures show a place that looks old, it is actually a fairly new construction. The owner greeted us and provided information about the locate area. We travel in private transport so we did not have a car. While the property was a 20 minute walk to Doolin it was a safe road and we were able to get transportation when we needed it. It was a lovely location and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The location was fabulous, Pat and Joan could not do enough for us, We would highly recommend it.
