Set alone cottage with parking - feels like your tiny house on the hills of Doolin with a view of the Aran Islands. Responsive owner and clean cottage. Owner provided a coffee maker with coffee ready to go! Owner did all the little things!
Walking to town is a bit of a stretch - and not good in the dark. We were able to get a taxi relatively easily but it is not certain. Also the GPS entry we put in for Boherbui Cottage Wild Atlantic Way were not direct to the cottage.
Eine sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist super, sehr ruhig und ganz in der Nähe vom Dorf. Sehr komfortabel und mit viel Herz zum Wohlfühlen eingerichtet.
Absolutely amazing property and perfect location! Minutes from the cliffs of Moher and the host had everything we needed including a washing machine.
Nothing! We loved it.
Good location, comfortable bed, well equipped, easy parking
Difficult to find especially if you arrive after dark. There is no signage anywhere to point you in the right direction. Have stayed in many private cottages over the years and there was always little something waiting for tired travellers like bottle of wine, hamper of local produce, box of chocolates etc. Nothing here I am afraid. If you pay almost 200euro for a night you would also expect to find quality body wash and soap, not Aldi branded cheap stuff. There is no hot water in the shower, only warm. Collection of dead spiders and other insects around.
Lovely and bright little cottage that had everything we needed for a short term stay. This is great for two people and the hosts were very responsive with any questions and suggestions for things to do in the area. It is a ways from Doolin and a car would most likely be welcomed, but we were using it as a jumping off point to all the nearby attractions (Cliffs of Moher, etc.), so this was not a problem for us.
Nothing.
Wow what a beautiful place! The owners went above and beyond and had the house set up beautifully when we arrived. When we walked in the radio was on with some nice music and the house was spotless, with way more amenities than I expected! A lovely kitchen and bedroom, both with amazing views. The sunset from here is definitely a sight to see☀️ On top of that, the area of Doolin is gorgeous and I would love to come back again!😄
Very clean and modern cottage.
The cottage is just a few minutes from the heart of downtown Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher, and the views of the countryside are stunning!
Beautiful views and very clean with nice breakfast.
You really need to have a car if you stay here because the walk down to Doolin is quite long.
Location set up.
Front door didn’t lock but bedroom door did. It’s a very safe area so was not bothered by it.
This cottage near the town of Doolin, was one of our favorite stays during our Ireland trip! It was the perfect size for the two of us and had wonderful views. We loved the decor, bathroom, bed was comfortable and we were able to do laundry which was much needed as we were nearing the end of our trip.
The front door lock! The owner was very helpful and even came out to look at it. We were able to figure it out eventually but it was definitely a headache and caused a delay with leaving the cottage.
The location of the house was perfect. The living space was comfortable and the view out the kitchen window made the stay even more enjoyable. The location made it easy to get on the road and out the door with minimal effort. The location was very quiet and bed was comfortable.
Honestly, everything was great. I had a problem with a lost key ( my fault) and the owner took care of the problem very quickly and I must add it was late at night.
The location!!! The views out to the Atlantic at sunset were breathtaking. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and modern.
loved the decor, the warmth and the dotiness of the property!!
Shower and bed were good quality, sofa was comfortable. Got a few good nights' sleep there. Short drive to Doolin pier and town area. Suited a quick trip to Doolin for a family reunion, where we didn't need to spend long in the house.
Kitchen area very small and not really enough space to eat meals (thin table with flimsy stools). Not really enough space to unpack/stash suitcases. No drawers/hangers to keep clothing for 2 people. If it's raining, not really enough space to dry laundry inside. Dark/busy road to town with no shoulder, so doesn't suit walking home from pubs unless you have good high viz gear. Would only recommend for a short stay. Overpriced, touristy area.
