Reviewed Sep 12, 2026This is our second time staying here. This time we were four adults and two labradors. The apartment is amazing, and has everything you need. It's incredibly located in the town and the perfect place to base yourself to explore Connemara. We will definitely be back.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The shower in the En suite. The floor is dangerous even using the bathroom mat & no anti slip in the shower tray. My husband slipped over on the tiles using the bath mat.

The concrete steps leading down to the apartment were a little challenging.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Emplacement à l’entrée de la Sky Road, à côté d’un supermarché et des 2 rues principales : idéal pour rayonner dans tout le Connemara! Équipement au top, vue exceptionnelle, et le soleil du printemps nous a permis de profiter de la terrasse calme en soirée ! Petit plus : le cake maison et les quelques attentions à l’arrivée. NB : L’appartement est en contrebas de la route, au calme : bien lire les consignes d’accès par les marches en béton, et c’est tout bon! Parking payant dans la rue uniquement de 11h30 à 18h (quand on est parti se promener, en gros) !

Reviewed Oct 29, 2025Stunning location looking out over harbour. Very well stocked and wonderful welcome gifts. Good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen had every appliance/utensil you could possibly want. Comfortable couches. Warm and cosy. Very close to shops, restaurants and bars. Caretaker extremely helpful and easily contactable.
A lot of steps down to apartment which might be difficult for elderly.

Whilst not a problem for us, the large number of steps down to the apartment may be a problem for some. Parking may also be an issue If the town is busy.

Reviewed May 5, 2023Excellent location, well-maintained property with some nice touches and attention to detail. View from the balcony looking onto the water is fabulous. I asked for extra blankets and was gladly provided with same, along with a good air mattress, ahead of arrival.
The immersion / water tank makes a bit of a noise which is not ideal in the middle of the night for the single bedroom beside it. Very small issue though. We would happily stay here again!

Reviewed Oct 26, 2022location was just perfect. beautiful view from the patio even though it rained our entire stay. it’s walking distance into Clifden - shops, restaurants and pubs. the property was ideal for us. it was only 2 nights and we didn’t eat in and were out most of the day as the other best thing about this property is that it was pet friendly. Many choices of beaches rain or no rain! highly recommend.
